There's no intention to try to change order the hell out of the project. He's effective in keeping you posted about where you are regarding budget. He always does what he says he'll do. We had a couple of small issues here and there as you do with all construction, and Jeff remedied them immediately. Jeff's priority is to fulfill your expectations. My expectations are high. He's team doesn't disappoint. I've experienced the working habits of several contractors. Some good. Some so horrible, I'll refrain from using necessary colorful metaphors for fear of insulting you and being banned from yelp. Jeff and I committed to three full bathroom remodels (two of which we did simultaneously), and a cabinetry overhaul in our family and dining rooms. I'm so pleased! His recommendations for places to shop saved me a fortune. His sub-contractors are all top notch. Tile, stone countertops, flooring, lighting, cabinets...it all looks fantastic! We have a large and messy house with some unusual accommodations and they have always happily rolled with them. Lately I've noticed the cleans have been slipping a little but didn't say anything. Stuff left uncleaned, parts missed. A couple months ago they broke my handmade, handpainted pottery kitchen butter bell (i'm an artist so this was kind of personal). I was miffed because it was broken but nobody said anything, management never contacted me, it was just thrown in the trash outside. I allowed myself to believe maybe there was a miscommunication. I told Paul about it and he apologized. I was very sad but I understand accidents happen, so I let it go gently and painstakingly made myself another butter bell. Today they broke that too, along with a handpainted salt shaker from a close friend. I don't know how they managed to break both pieces since they weren't even in the same area. We drove to the old place (30 mins wasted) but didn't see her, and then she said she can come at 2:30pm. We asked her to come back at 3pm and she did come, but without all necessary tools. My hubby met her, she said she can only do it on 5/30 8am. My hubby said we'll confirm with her later today. Then I messaged her again around 7pm on 5/29 and she confirmed that she could come. On 5/30, we messaged her, called her, left her voice mails around 7:30am and there were no response at all. Because she had confirmed the day before she would come, my hubby still decided to drive to the old place just in case she didn't bring her phone with her. She didn't come again (another 30 mins wasted) ! Her explanation is that she only confirmed with me but not my husband. What an excuse!! She then said she could come at 12pm. Around 11:30am, we texted her, called her, again with no response again. But my kind hubby still assumed the lady could keep her word and went to our old place the 3rd time (another 30 mins) and of course she didn't come again. It's such a horrible experience! He paid more attention to high traffic areas for cleaning and was quick and meticulous. -We had a large area rug and some small rugs that we were able to negotiate a price for cleaning. - The carpets dried within a couple of hours and there was no major chemical smells to deal with. Cons: When I had talked to Heriberto, he had said they will not move furniture in the room even if they are small side tables or chairs. we were not expecting any one to move large furniture. The other cleaning companies did mention they can move small furniture around. We had to move most of the things from the room before the cleaning. Eric did help move small boxes or chair around. I am not sure how much of a difference this carpet cleaning made vs some other cleaning services and our carpets were not super dirty but they do look relatively cleaner and fresh than before. Overall for the price and time, it was a job well done.
