I had to leave the residence we were moving out of to meet Xfinity at our new place to get the cable and internet set up, so I had my thirty year old daughter stay behind to make sure everything was moved out of the apartment. Let me preface this next part by saying that four out of the five people they sent were great - they were friendly, professional, and took great care moving our belongings. However, the fifth person they sent is the reason why this is not the review I thought it was would be writing. When my daughter went to do an initial walk through to check that nothing was left behind, the fifth guy, who was wearing an ankle monitor, literally exposed himself to her. He actually pulled out his penis. Obviously my daughter was extremely upset and I cannot find the words to express how angry and upset I am. To make matters worse, when I told the owner, Debra/Deborah Harrington, what happened she then proceeded to blame my daughter, saying she shouldn't have engaged in any conversation with any of the guys at all and that it was her word against his. This woman victim shamed my daughter after her ankle monitor wearing employee pulled out his penis in front of her. To say I'm disgusted with this guy is an understatement. But then to have the owner react the way she did is absolutely unacceptable. I don't know this woman at all, but I imagine if she had a daughter/sister/mother or any woman she's cares about for that matter, would she react differently? It's a shame because the other four movers really were great, but this one guy and the owner have made it so I would never recommend Harringtons to anyone, especially someone I care about. I'm giving g Harringtons two stars because the other guys were great and if this hadn't happened it would be a five star review.

The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. Nothing broken and they were a super effective team. (hopefully no time soon...the process of moving bites) If I ever need movers again Mozart Movers are going to be my choice. At that point I had tried to use Uhaul's online check-in which was worthless. I went into the store and asked about the truck, the girl hands me the keys and says I'm all set. I didn't receive a contract (which would have been helpful for gas and mileage readings) and I didn't receive an apology for wasting my time. Going forward I would avoid Uhaul in general, but I would especially avoid Northeast Storage.
