    You will be impressed with this company, and they are honest…read more ALBO moved me last week, and this was my 2nd time using them. I moved from Delaware to NJ and this time, back to Delaware. My team consisted of Alex, the owner, who honored their 5 % discount if booked 3 weeks before moving, and my movers, Eugene and Serge. Eugene contacted me the day before to confirm & ask some questions about my contents, and he kept me informed all along as to their arrival time. All went well but it took longer than expected with only 2 men. They were careful and followed my instructions re: delicate or previously damaged furniture. I asked if they would tell me when the heavy furniture was coming inside because I wanted to put padding on the legs to protect the wooden floors. This slowed them up but it helped me because I might have forgotten about doing that later. Also, I asked them to carry many boxes to the basement, and that I appreciated so much. I was very concerned about one piece, an antique rocker that had 2 breaks in one leg. Much to my surprise, Eugene placed a reinforced bandage on the leg and I am still using it until I take it to get repaired. While packing the month before, I had forgotten where I had hid some valuable jewelry. Well, low and behold, when my bedroom was already emptied, I saw my 2 stashes of gold and silver on the window sill. When I went to Eugene, I commented that I would never have known if they had kept it, and thanked him profusely. His response, "My parents taught me right, I guess." As far as Albo's rates and overall value go....You can't put a price on this kind of integrity and work ethic. The fact that I used them twice in 2 years speaks for itself. Packing for a move is one of the worst stresses in life. But having a moving company that is reliable and trustworthy will free up your mind to concentrate on other important things during your move.

Meetunghouse's form for the request was by FAR the easiest to fill out. On the day of the move, they brought everything we needed (moving blankets etc.) We boxed everything else ourselves before they arrived. The three movers assigned were cheerful and helpful and did their job very, very well. We've moved a lot over the years and this was one of the best experiences we had. They even helped us pick up a Facebook marketplace patio set on our way! Remember to tip your movers - it's hard work!!

The packers and movers were two different crews - one worked Thursday afternoon and the other Friday afternoon - which may have contributed to the problem, because the movers were definitely not pleased with the packers. It got to the point towards the end of day 2 where I just told folx to put stuff down because I felt guilty about how hard the move was on them. Based on the other reviews, I'm thinking I might have caught some of the folx on off-days? I will say they were prompt and polite, and Sway really tried to make up for what he could tell was not the smoothest move. It was not an inexpensive move, but the price matched with other companies I got quotes from. *I'd recommend not asking them to move plants because almost all of the plants they handled lost limbs. Not sure how to get around this if you're a person without a car or just want everything moved in one trip, but I'm glad I moved most of the plants myself. Art was handled delicately though!

    Unbelievable customer service I just got from here today. And it comes from a manger too? Seriously…read moredon't know what kind of training they be receiving, or no training at all. It's easy to train an employee skills but definitely can't train an employee's attitude. When you're working on the floor, no way you are showing this type of customer service out. As a Relationship Manager, my employee will be out of the door already. So what exactly happened? I have been coming to this staple for color printing a number of times. Right off my head I can count at least 5-7x, for my kid's birthday to my wedding, which is last month, and was less than a month ago. Every time I'm here I don't have much issues and other staffs were pretty friendly and professional. I was always able to use their PrintMe service where I emailed them my file to be printed and I provide my own card stock or labels and they color print that for me. Always in and out within 5-10mins. Then today I was told by an older lady sales associate that there is an express fee if I want that printed right away and the turn around time is 1hr even with that express fee. What?! So I called my husband and see when he's here few wks ago happened to him, like was this always their policy. Both my husband and I have always been printing with no 1hr turn around time and no extra fees being told to us. So I explained that to the lady and ask to speak to the manager about when this started because my last visit was a month ago myself and less than a month ago for my husband. The manager, who was standing on the side talking to another person came over and start off with an attitude already. I told him that I was not told bout this express fee and turn around time. I even told him a month ago I even gave a good rating and review on one of his staff. He asked me who and I pull up the review. Then the manager said "Oh, I know him. I trained him. But he hasn't work here for 5 months now." That moment annoyed me. How are you the manager and lie to me! I told the manager right away that that is not true because I gave this review the day I was here and it was a month a ago only that I reviewed this Staple and that staff. The manager shut up right away and said "Why are you fighting over a few cents?" Excuse me? It's not about that few cents I am disappointed bout. It's your overall attitude and lie and the way you speak to a customer as a freaken manager too! As a Relationship Manger, I have dealt with many many customers because we work on the floor too, but NEVER you present this to any customers when you're representing a company. What a shame! The proper way he should have treated the situation is to hear the customer said, explain the company policy, and waive that this time, and welcome the customer to come back. So next time customer returns, he/she is already aware of this and won't be surprised. His way of behavior just brush the customers off and never want to return back. The manager then tell me I wont charge you the express fee this time, but next time I will and he semi throw the printed card stock paper back to my hands. How rude! I don't know what kind of manner is that. Apparently he wasn't trained at work and wasn't taught at home. Even my 5yo said to me "Mommy why is that boy so mean and not nice." Unbelievable!

At first, I was skeptical because I had seen some mixed reviews, but our experience was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, they exceeded every expectation we had. The majority of our things were not even packed when they arrived. Despite this, the team was incredibly patient and understanding. They worked around us while we were still packing and even helped us pack some of our items. Their professionalism and kindness were truly remarkable. We had so much stuff that they have to come back for a second day, but they handled it so graciously. They went above and beyond to make the process as smooth as possible. The way they packed our storage unit was like watching a perfect game of Tetris. Everything fit so neatly and efficiently, it was amazing to see their skill in action. Both my wife and I are very particular about the service we receive, and Compass Moving exceeded our high standards. They were fast, professional, and extremely skilled. Honestly, we were the ones holding them up because we weren't as prepared as we should have been. Had we been ready, they would have moved everything out of our home much faster. Even still, they were phenomenal. I highly recommend Compass Moving to anyone in need of reliable and professional movers. They made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. I look forward to working with them again in the future. Value is even too fair such a high quality service.

    Absolutely horrible experience with Compass Moving Company. They showed up 1.5 hours late and then…read moreproceeded to milk the clock. I was quoted around 3.5 hours for the entire move and it ended up taking that just to load. Mind you I wrapped everything myself in preparation with the exception of one dresser and 3 couch cushions. I took down every tv and organized everything for a seamless move. However, due to their delay, my storage unit closed before they finished, and they tried to charge me extra to hold my items overnight until I pushed back. They returned the next day and took another 4 hours just to unload which is ridiculous for what was essentially 20 boxes, 5 dressers, 4 TVs, a desk, 2 couches, a coffee table, and 2 bed frames (no mattresses). That's not even a full household move. For context: my husband and brother-in-law moved the rest of our stuff into a 10x15 unit (same floor, same building) in 2 hours using pickup trucks! Compass had three movers and a 25 ft truck, and still claimed the truck was "filled to the ceiling," which is laughable considering my 10x20 storage unit had plenty of room left. To top it all off, they complained about "waiting an hour for payment" the next day while I was at work and couldn't answer my phone. Instead of waiting or being professional, they were texting my sister, who was also working. The owner then accused me of withholding payment when I simply wasn't available at that moment. In the end, I paid $1,326 for a partial move that should've cost half that and taken half the time. This company is dishonest, inefficient, and unprofessional. They overcharge, underdeliver, and then try to guilt-trip you when you stand up for yourself. Avoid Compass Moving at all costs. You've been warned.

If you like hidden charges, box fees, unnecessary personnel, fuel charges, then sure go ahead and use them. Look at the 1 star reviews on this site.

    I made the mistake of hiring others movers on July 1st of this year but I didn't like the way that…read morethey placed most of the furniture. They put furniture in front of the boxes and the furniture is too heavy for me to move by myself. I'm not very strong. I have chronic back pain and knee pain. The other place was cheap and they did not speak very much English. The only time I could understand them was when they demanded an extra $500 for the 3 of them as their tip. They broke some of my things (including my parents' tiffany lamp, an end table and my microwave). Worst of all was that the bed collapsed during the night because the other movers only used screws at the bottom of the bed. Today Riley & Sons movers came over and fixed my bed then they rearranged everything the way that I wanted. They took the broken microwave and end table to the dumpster then took some things to my sister's house. Then they brought back 2 chairs for me from my sister. The Riley & Son's movers were friendly, efficient and sympathetic to what I had to deal with from the other movers. Then I was pleasantly surprised when the actual cost was less than the estimated cost. I will definitely be sticking with them and recommending them to anyone who wants punctual, reliable, friendly and helpful movers who know what they're doing and truly care about their customers' satisfaction.
