They treat me like I am wrong for being upset that I am not treated with a tiny bit of appreciation or as a human being.... THIS SUX!! To start with they sent a foreman who was…read morecoughing,sneezing & then violently throwing up in bathroom within 5 minutes of arriving for my move. He later told me that not only couldn't he let ProMovers know he was ill for fear of losing hours ( and that they don't provide heath insurance) but that he had been exposed to Meningitis via a family member. As a cancer surviver, with a compromised immune system this was alarming to say the least! I had to call Pro Mover's head office 4 times to ask them to send a replacement foreman who wasn't ill. First few phone calls, they not only dismissed my concerns about being exposed to someone with a contagious disease but kept telling me they were short staffed. Finally, after 4 phone calls,they sent a replacement Foreman ( over 4 hours since my complaint). Despite the arrival of a new foreman the movers worked at a shambolic pace. They announced at 7pm that they couldn't move all of belongings... The crew did not know how to pack. They shoved my antique wooden furniture into their truck without wrapping it...my antique furniture arrived seriously damaged. We had THE WORST experience. They also didn't ask my girlfriend or I to check the back of the truck before leaving which they are required to do. Despite all of this, the staff has taken ZERO accountability and denies all responsibility. I filed a police report and allowed Saving Moving to do their "internal investigation." After multiple texts and calls for an update they never replied until a month later, saying they are unwilling to do anything to help. Not even file an insurance claim on their end. It's disgraceful and their manager's insensitivity to the situation has been beyond frustrating. As I told them throughout this whole process, this is not about the money ($650 value), it's the principal that my belongings were lost or stolen ON THEIR WATCH. But they don't give a shit about their customers as long they get paid. So do yourself a huge favor and take your business elsewhere.
