At the time of the order, I had no idea they were in Brooklyn. The site is clean and all the information is readily accessible. One can guarantee that this website did not cost a lot of money, but it works. One of the best things about this company is that they have pre-prepared packages of boxes, tape, etc. divided by room and/or rooms which makes it a little easier. They have boxes for junk, boxes for tvs, boxes for lamps - are you following me here? They have supplies for moving - tape, blankets, plastic wrap, paper. So I go online and make my order (FREE shipping by the way on everything!) and expect it to come in a couple days according to the site. After the confirmation of sale is where it gets good. 30 minutes pass and I get a call from the company saying they can deliver today, the same day, in the late afternoon. OK. One hour later I get another call that they can deliver right now. Yes please. Approximately three hours after I ordered many, many boxes, they arrived in perfect shape. Having no idea this company was in Brooklyn, I guess I should consider myself lucky. The customer service was fantastic and the boxes have been working just fine. The crates stack up very neatly, unlike cardboard boxes, and are much easier for the movers to move. The drop-off and pick-up were punctual and flexible. We originally booked for two weeks - took one week to pack, two days to unpack. BoxUp was able to pick up the crates early and get them out of our way. Reuben did the drop-off and pick-up and was very professional. BoxUp also conveniently offers other packing material to be delivered with the crates. I asked Amazon customer service if UPS could be my drop off to complete this return transaction. Past experience here can be summarized as long lines moving very slowly but more importantly, nasty/impatient customer service. My recent visit was no exception. For one thing, the person behind the counter wouldn't affix the label to the box for whatever reason. Okay so I attached it. No big deal however the other employee behind the counter did so for his customers. Another thing which seemed to bother him was the taping of my box. He said it wasn't taped properly which meant I had to buy a roll of tape (for $8) or pay $1.64 for him to add more tape. Obviously I chose the latter. The problem with this UPS is the overall attitude of some of the staff, same familiar faces. I'm actually glad I go to Whole Foods for Amazon drop offs. This UPS, thanks to mainly two employees, is a headache to do any business. One star due to it being convenient on Court Street.

They said that they have worked in every building in manhattan and you can tell they have a very smooth operation. You can do all communication over email, they respond quickly and also call/text to tell you their arrival time the morning of. It's priced based on time with a base price for 2 hrs for 3 men and a truck and every 30 minutes after is additional. They will wrap any large furniture you have in blankets. Do note that you are responsible for any parking tickets if they can't find any legal parking near by. You also pay for tolls and for any COI you request.
