    DO. OT RENT HERE, THEY ARE NOT HONEST I got a 5x5 storage unit at $58/month, for what I need to store I thought perfect. Exactly 3months later I got a notice in the mail saying for the exact same storage unit the fee was going up to $108. More than 50% increase, to keep up with taxes in Concord Monument of all places. What a joke DO NOT RENT HERE. Public Storage of Concord Ave for secure rate, and fair prices.

    Jax is the un reliable, uneducated brown noser I have ever met. You can't scratch your ass here without someone checking the rule book to measure the distance of hand to ass. Taking pictures of my things, banging on my door when I have it shut to enjoy moving my personal things and testing equipment to make sure it still works in PRIVACY. They don't care about that here. I would recommend another storage facility with much less drama driven staff.

    After 2.5 years, moved out. No issues.

    When I moved to the bay area I needed a storage place and this one was close to where I lived and looked clean. Some folks have mentioned that the units rental price would go up. I did experience the same thing, however, for how clean the facility is, and how friendly Mike has always been, the added cost didnt seem like a huge negative. I think mine went up $25. Perhaps it would be good to know up front that the price will go up. To be honest, I don't remember if that topic was discussed but considering I'm normally one to hop and holler when I feel like I'm being cheated, I have to assume that it was something I knew would come up. Clean facility, friendly staff, never felt there were any security issues. That's just been my experience.

    bed bugs at this facility. do not rent units unless everything u have is encased. not only did i have a theft, i also left w bed bugs.

    Super friendly workers. Liked the ability to access storage through gated entry way that required key code. Extremely good rates!!

    They raised the rates on me by 15% in 5 months. I would not EVER rent here again for the simple fact of lack of customer service.

    If I could give negative stars I would…read more I contacted this U-Haul location today because our refrigerator broke unexpectedly and I needed quick, basic guidance on which vehicle in their fleet would be suitable to move it. The employee who answered the phone demonstrated zero knowledge of the services or vehicles this business provides. Even more concerning, he abruptly hung up on me mid-conversation. When I attempted to call back to clarify or resolve the issue, my calls were repeatedly answered and immediately disconnected. This was not a dropped call--it was intentional. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially for a business that people rely on during stressful, time-sensitive situations like unexpected appliance failures or moves. If you work for a company, you should at minimum understand what it offers and how to treat customers with basic respect. Hanging up on customers is not a mistake--it's a choice. Management should be aware that this location reflects poorly on the U-Haul brand. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service here is astounding. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others to think twice before relying on this location for anything time-sensitive or important.

    Do not use Two Men & a Truck!…read more I only needed just less than 15 items moved; a wardrobe, a treadmill, 2 dressers, 2 night stands, 3 tv stands, 3 tvs, a mirror and a refrigerator. I was asked if I had the original boxes for the tvs, which I replied yes. I was told that they would pack them and wrap all the furniture. I was also told that they would unpack everything at the new house. When we arrived at the new house, they took the mirror off their truck and it was cracked. When they were putting the refrigerator in the kitchen, they smashed the corner of the baseboard. I went to file a claim, and was pretty much told that I declined supplies when I scheduled the move. I only remember stating that I didn't need cardboard boxes or paper wrap and requested floor protection. I wasn't asked about needing a crate for the mirror, or specific supplies for a tv. I plugged in the tvs the following day and found they'd mishandled the 85in tv. See pics below. I just emailed Jon to file a claim. Jon's reply: "We will always move these items as requested by our customers, but we will not take liability for these items when customers decline the supplies to move them properly and safely. The supplies were offered at the time of booking as well as during the move to which they were declined. We will not take lability for damages in these instances where the proper protection for these items is declined by the customer. For the mirror, I am showing that you declined supplies, which we offered at the time of booking. For any pictures, glass, artwork and mirrors, we would only take liability for damages to those items had they been properly packed with bubble wrap and box. Same as when you buy it from a store, it's going to be packed for safe transport. Unfortunately, I have to deny the claim for this item. For the baseboard, it does look like it can be repaired fairly easily. Magic eraser for the scuffs, paint and maybe some light sanding would repair that. I don't think the supplies would be more than $20 (usually a house will already have some paint left over that matches the walls too), but I will offer $50 for this to cover the supplies and more for your time and effort. " How long did it take to pack and move 14 items, then drive them 25 minutes? 6 hours!! I'm not stressing the time they took - just think they should have taken better care of the handling, then accepted responsibilty / liability when they mishandle and break things.

They were able to provide the local moving services (moving boxes and materials from storage container to garage) on the day I wanted (within 48 hours) at the price quoted. The service was good; the movers were professional and polite and very personable, turning a drudgery for me into a decent experience overall. I would recommend them--they saved me a lot of trouble and potential injury from lifting and the price was reasonable.
