Update after moving out of two units, after storing here for 6+ years! This was a huge upgrade in experience, location, and value over another large (orange) storage chain I'd used in the past. Justin and his family were always great to work with, and very helpful at answering any questions via email. This is the best storage place in the Concord area, bar none. The franchise place I had my things stored in for several years, Public Storage on Hookston Road in Pleasant Hill, had great opening rates but then the rate increases started coming more frequently and got to be almost double my opening rate in just a couple of years so i moved out of there and went over to Monument Court Storage and have been very happy with their lower and more stable prices and very personal service by Jason, Marcy, and the rest of their family who run the place. Wow. Super cool. Did not expect to hear back over a holiday weekend and in the evening AND was the only one that met me next day out of 5 or 6 other places. Super well kept. I started renting here recently, and while I can't speak to the long-term, here are my thoughts and observations. Fantastic in the most important areas: - Convenient and comfortable walk from the Concord BART station - Clear, friendly communication - Fair prices - There is a bathroom for tenants - Owners live on-site The only complaints/nitpicks I could dream up are small: - sun-facing units that are not temperature controlled can warm up a fair amount by the end of the day (I didn't measure it, but I'd guess not more than 10 degrees above the heat of that day, through direct sun and a layer of glass) - the elevator is slow - the bathroom locks so if you're accessing storage close to 9pm, make sure to use it before storing / accessing your stuff (you can enter until 9, and leave later, but the bathroom does lock at 9) read more

Justin was awesome and very responsive. The storage facility is clean, great location, and easy to sign up with an extremely secure process to enter and leave your unit. I liked that it is a family business and it shows in how the grounds are manicured and well-kept. I had some unique questions and Justin was able to answer them quickly and honestly. How do I know he was honest in his answers? He had the best prices locally and out of state; I have moved so much since 2021 that I have become a bit of a storage guru living between two states! My other unit is state of the art, remote from my phone, and you would think it to be easier than this unit, but it is more steps to enter, and without your phone or the correct wifi password, there is no access. Though I appreciate the new facility in Arizona, Monument Court Storage made an anticipated long process, way too easy, and I am grateful this part of the move is behind me. I met with Marci and Justin to check out their available small units and they were so helpful! I took a tour around the property and checked out the storage units and settled on a 5x5 that I really liked! The property is managed and owned by them so I feel good that they care about the facility and have a great security system in place. Also, the units have light in them, which I really appreciate! The real bonus is the monthly rates. They are a lot cheaper than some of the other facilities in Concord. It's a win-win! read more

This was the best place for me to store my belongings! Monument Court Storage had the best reviews on Yelp that I had seen before I decided to go with them. When I met Justin in person, he reassured me that my belongings would be safe. He did not try to get me to get a storage space bigger than what I needed. The access to the storage is very secure and I would be able to access it at any time. The storage unit was even temperature controlled which was great! Justin gave me options for what he had to offer at the time. I choose a big unit but a a coiuple of months later I upgraded to a large unit. I have rented two units, one very large, and this place is very well maintained, secure and reasonably priced. Easy access 24/7. You have to be sure to park as far to one side or the other of the road through the lot, to allow others and trucks to get by. Units are finished. Sheet rock like the interior of a house. No rodents can get in. Roll up doors are a little old and not too smooth. Mine is a little hard to open. Facility is well maintained. We rented a storage unit from Monument for over two years, and I can't say enough good things about them. The facility is always perfectly clean, and we did not have any security issues during those two years. Drainage is good, and the units do not get overly hot in the summer. I think a lot has to do with the fact that the owner's family (I think) actually live on the property, and they take care of it like it's their backyard. These owners are on their game!! My experience with this place was nothing short of efficient and professional. What I like- no gimmicks, hidden costs, admin cost or any other BS. No pressure to get insurance, of which the owner said there has never been a break in. He has a million cameras plus lives onsite.
