The responding officers were professional and told us they had received numerous complaints about this location before, but explained there was nothing they could do because it's a private business. The entire experience felt extremely dishonest and misleading. We lost valuable time, our moving plans were disrupted, and we were treated with complete disrespect. We are opening a case regarding what happened and we believe this place is fraudulent!!! Please do yourself a favor and avoid this location. When I attempted to call back to clarify or resolve the issue, my calls were repeatedly answered and immediately disconnected. This was not a dropped call--it was intentional. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially for a business that people rely on during stressful, time-sensitive situations like unexpected appliance failures or moves. If you work for a company, you should at minimum understand what it offers and how to treat customers with basic respect. Hanging up on customers is not a mistake--it's a choice. Management should be aware that this location reflects poorly on the U-Haul brand. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service here is astounding. When a week before our move we needed to change a date by two weeks because of construction delays, that was not a problem. When at the last minute we asked if we can add a piano to the list of moved items, that was fine as well. But most importantly was the care the guys took with our items! They wrapped every piece in the soft blanket and added plastic wrapping outside to keep in place. They stacked items in the way that nothing would get damaged. On delivery, they were on time and moved everything to designated rooms and assembled everything we needed! No scratches or damages in the house when moved out or moved in! Recently, I was a few days late on a payment and was hit with a $40 late fee. I deducted that amount from my payment. Two days later, Public Storage charged my debit card without authorization to collect the fee. I've since instructed Wells Fargo to block all future charges from them. Going forward, I'll pay by check only--and I recommend others avoid using cards. I've also filed a complaint with the California Attorney General's Office. Public Storage is a publicly traded company--are they really this desperate? Between the surprise rate increases, $15/month insurance fees, and excessive $40 late charges, it's clear they're driven by greed. Avoid this company. They profit heavily while providing little in return--you do all the work.

My new unit was $189/mo and I didn't have to deal with rent increases because I recently cleared out my unit after 3 months. The space is very safe and secure, requiring a code to enter and exit the gate. Also love the free coffee and tea. I'm happy to not have to pay for the unit anymore but would recommend to anyone considering storage space.

The only way to get the refrigerator out was to go through the back sliding down. On the way out of the door, the refrigerator almost fell off the dolly. It hit against the sliding door and got dented and scratched. Once the crew got to our new address, they were super unprofessional. They were standing in the back of the truck, smoking their vape pens and goofing around. Once they finally got back to work, it seemed like they were just rushing to get things finished and didn't care if they hit our stuff or not. Now for the most upsetting part: while I was unpacking my belongings, I noticed that 2 of my necklaces were missing. These are completely irreplaceable; one of the necklaces belonged to my mother, who passed away 2 years ago, and the other was a one-of-a-kind necklace with my name on it that was gifted to me by my grandmother 20 years ago. I called customer service as soon as they opened on Monday morning and was told to file a police report regarding the stolen necklaces. The police did absolutely nothing, and neither has TWO MEN & A TRUCK. I am completely devastated about my stolen jewelry and angry about the damage done to the walls and my refrigerator.
