Needed two over-sized, odd-shaped boxes for items I ship from my small business. I tried USPS,…read moreonline, Lowes, Office Depot, Home Depot - even checked out availability and pricing on ebay and Amazon. No one had the right dimension box or I would be forced to spend $50-$200 for a pack of multiple boxes. I was at my wit's end, trying to figure out how to ship two important orders without spending more than I wanted to on a shipping box. I finally called UPS to ask if they had the right size for me to purchase - although I did not want to use UPS as a carrier, preferring USPS - they told me they did not even carry the size box I needed, but referred me to this establishment. From my first inquiry phone call to the next day purchase of the boxes, I had a courteous man immediately help me with my shipping needs. The pricing was very reasonable. The shop is fairly small, but they carry a large assortment and range of box sizes. I went in sort of end of day, an hour before closing. and I was served with courtesy and care. This will now be my "Go To" shop for shipping supplies.

When a week before our move we needed to change a date by two weeks because of construction delays, that was not a problem. When at the last minute we asked if we can add a piano to the list of moved items, that was fine as well. But most importantly was the care the guys took with our items! They wrapped every piece in the soft blanket and added plastic wrapping outside to keep in place. They stacked items in the way that nothing would get damaged. On delivery, they were on time and moved everything to designated rooms and assembled everything we needed! No scratches or damages in the house when moved out or moved in! All the horror stories I heard from friends who have moved before and I was so worried about - not the case with this team! Highly recommend!

We've had a single storage unit with Public Storage for over a year. They lure you in with a low…read morerate, then hike the price by 30% once you're fully moved in. Recently, I was a few days late on a payment and was hit with a $40 late fee. I deducted that amount from my payment. Two days later, Public Storage charged my debit card without authorization to collect the fee. I've since instructed Wells Fargo to block all future charges from them. Going forward, I'll pay by check only--and I recommend others avoid using cards. I've also filed a complaint with the California Attorney General's Office. Public Storage is a publicly traded company--are they really this desperate? Between the surprise rate increases, $15/month insurance fees, and excessive $40 late charges, it's clear they're driven by greed. Avoid this company. They profit heavily while providing little in return--you do all the work.

They even put the furniture in the house BEFORE the carpets despite us reviewing this at the start of the day. To add insult to injury, they 'disappeared' a safe that was in the garage. The crew all claim never having seen the safe-- it never made it to the new house. I have filed a police report and have filed a complaint with the California Bureau but I suspect nothing will come of it. Just do not use this company!

Do not use Two Men & a Truck!…read more I only needed just less than 15 items moved; a wardrobe, a treadmill, 2 dressers, 2 night stands, 3 tv stands, 3 tvs, a mirror and a refrigerator. I was asked if I had the original boxes for the tvs, which I replied yes. I was told that they would pack them and wrap all the furniture. I was also told that they would unpack everything at the new house. When we arrived at the new house, they took the mirror off their truck and it was cracked. When they were putting the refrigerator in the kitchen, they smashed the corner of the baseboard. I went to file a claim, and was pretty much told that I declined supplies when I scheduled the move. I only remember stating that I didn't need cardboard boxes or paper wrap and requested floor protection. I wasn't asked about needing a crate for the mirror, or specific supplies for a tv. I plugged in the tvs the following day and found they'd mishandled the 85in tv. See pics below. I just emailed Jon to file a claim. Jon's reply: "We will always move these items as requested by our customers, but we will not take liability for these items when customers decline the supplies to move them properly and safely. The supplies were offered at the time of booking as well as during the move to which they were declined. We will not take lability for damages in these instances where the proper protection for these items is declined by the customer. For the mirror, I am showing that you declined supplies, which we offered at the time of booking. For any pictures, glass, artwork and mirrors, we would only take liability for damages to those items had they been properly packed with bubble wrap and box. Same as when you buy it from a store, it's going to be packed for safe transport. Unfortunately, I have to deny the claim for this item. For the baseboard, it does look like it can be repaired fairly easily. Magic eraser for the scuffs, paint and maybe some light sanding would repair that. I don't think the supplies would be more than $20 (usually a house will already have some paint left over that matches the walls too), but I will offer $50 for this to cover the supplies and more for your time and effort. " How long did it take to pack and move 14 items, then drive them 25 minutes? 6 hours!! I'm not stressing the time they took - just think they should have taken better care of the handling, then accepted responsibilty / liability when they mishandle and break things.
