We felt really good about the security and cleanliness of the units (all climate controlled) and the facility overall (the Plano location was only built a couple of years ago and it's super clean). Plus the ease of being able to drive up so close to the units. We worked with Wendy and she's been so kind and helpful and informative through the entire process. I did a lot of research and this place was definitely the right choice. We really appreciated that All Storage had a great intro special but that Wendy was also super up front about what the pricing would be after the special ended. Our close friends had a horrible experience with one of the bigger chain storage places hiking their rent up by insane amounts after the initial first month offer, and that's why we wanted to find a more locally run place. Wendy walked us through everything and went over what we could realistically expect in terms of pricing and it was all very reasonable. She went above and beyond in ways she didn't have to and we really apprecaited it. It ended up being harder than I thought it would be to find a clean, secure, affordable and trustworthy storage place, and so I wanted to make sure to write a review for All Storage in case it can help out someone else who's in the same boat. This CubeSmart also has restrooms available for renters. Believe it or not, not all CubeSmart locations have restrooms. I know this because I was renting a storage unit at this CubeSmart and another storage unit at another CubeSmart not too far away. The other one did not have restrooms and it was not as easy to get in touch with the manager. I also like the location of this one. It felt safer and more secure. This was the only reason why I rented from them since the building itself and grounds look a little run down. For a drive up 10x10 I started out at $71 for the first two months which the lady told me this was my regular price to $134 on the 3rd month and now they've raised it again on January -1st to $155. Long term tenants are penalized here. I'm leaving after this month because I can't justify paying $2.000 a year to store $200 worth of junk. They also require you to have insurance which I know they receive a kickback on the policy. I've never known anyone including myself to make a successful claim from previous experiences from crooked renters insurance companies. It's a shame that corporations have ruined this industry. AVOID!!!
