Been a customer for almost three years now, large unit in the climate controlled building. For the last year that Ive been going over there, the front door has not shut properly to the climate control building, allowing anyone access without the need for the keypad. And in the total three years, both elevators have worked for maybe 3 months. One or both are routinely out of service, and even when they are working they feel like they could get stuck and trap you or your belongings. For the amount they get you'd think they could at least keep up with rudimentary repairs to the elevators and front door. read more

When I contacted them to upgrade from a 5x15 to a 10x10 space , I was very disappointed to find out that the rate that I had on the 5x15 was going up again from106 a month to 158 a month. This will be a second rate increase since i started to rent from you all . The first one was from $85. To the $106 a month and I have not been renting from you all not even a full year! it is ridiculous of how you all do your rate increases . Base on how you all due y'all's rate increases I will not be recommending you all to anyone else. I already recommended you all to two people and they both started to rent from you all and you all don't even give credit on getting recruiting people to lease a space from you all. read more

My friend passed overseas and my name is the alternate name or emergency contact name on her climate controlled storage unit. The staff have been kind in helping navigate the stress in having to access her unit. May served me with compassion and we will see further when I have to go in and access my friends unit as I don't know the code to the gate. May said that since my name is on the application documents that they will let me in and even break the lock if I can't find the key. On another call a young man answered in a work area and we could not hear one another well. He apologized and promised to call me back once out of the warehouse-type facility and into the office. Be aware that their rates will increase dramatically over the time you're storing there. Our rates started at $469 TOTAL for 3 units that we leased one year ago. They kept increasing our rate until were now at $708 for 3 units. That's a pretty incredible rate hike, which they blamed on the market. On the other hand, I have storage spaces at Extra Attic Storage and over the past two years, there have been NO rate increases. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY. They are dishonest and expensive. They will offer a unit at a very competitive price with the implication that this is the going rate. After five months you will see a price hike and then a second raise in rates after nine more months. read more

The location is great and the location is well maintained. Your property will be safe and secure. The only issue that I had was when I transferred from one unit to another unit. It wasn't explained that I would still be billed for the original unit ($200) as well as the new unit. I cleared out of the old unit on the day that I made the transfer. (They will get paid twice if they rent out my old unit within they next few weeks or days.) The transfer contract said that I wouldn't get billed until June but I got billed in April. I called the location for an explanation and they said that there wasn't anything that they could really do. Being out money that you weren't expecting really hurts. read more

I had an email stating my unit would be ready on the date I requested. I just called to confirm and they told me it wasn't available. So they tried to offer me a bigger unit for more money! So aggravating. So now I am two days away from moving and have to hope another place has the size I need. read more

Extremely disappointed with this facility. I rented a 10x20 unit and when I arrived at the storage unit with all of my belongings around 7:30pm, my storage unit turned out to be a 10x10. My contract stated I rented a 10x20. I contacted the main office and after an hour of the woman telling me the unit should be a 10x20, she finally called the site manager. The site manager called me and stated he could meet me at the storage unit and open a new unit. At this time it was already 9pm and my help had already left. The manager said himself or his boss would contact me first thing in the morning to fix this mess. The manager never called, I called him multiple times and no response. Around 2pm his boss called me and told me they would give me 2 months free. I was already at another storage facility unloading my belongings. I had to spend more money to rent the U-Haul another day as well as pay the moving people to not unload my items. All of this extra money spent because of Extra Space Storages' mistakes. It has now been a week and I have not received my refund or a call back from the corporate manager. I would never recommend any Extra Storage Space. read more

I found this location after the manager at another Extra Space location did not have the size unit I needed. It all worked out because and I ended up getting the first months rent FREE, the climate controlled unit I wanted was way cheaper at this location. The gentleman who assisted me was Edwin. He explained everything thoroughly and the entire process was smooth. The facility is clean, well lit and very accessible. The location is close to 295 and 95 and I have had no issues. read more

I was quite happy to find this place online. For how reasonable the price was I was amazed it was as well kept, secure and all the amenities and options available. And the price was so much lower than other "outdoor" units I looked at. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a storage unit. read more

I used this facility last year to store my daughter's college dorm items over the summer. I am using the place again this summer for the same reason. The facility is clean and appears to be secure. The only complaint that I have is that I wasn't able to get a climate controlled 5x5 unit like I had last summer. Last year I was told that they could only reserve a unit 2 weeks prior to needing it. So, when I called this year (2 weeks prior to needing), I was told that the only available unit was a non climate controlled 5x15, which is way more space than needed. Also, the price is approximately $30.00 more a month than I was paying last year. I plan on using this facility again next summer, however, if I can't get the unit size that I would like, I will probably use another storage facility. read more

The staff was amazing! William assisted me with unit availability and pricing. He was very informative and showed me the different sizes available. He could not have been more professional. When we came back to rent the unit, the manager Courtney was just great. She was thorough, efficient and covered all the questions we had. Would definitely recommend this location!! read more
