I recently rented a small storage space from here and it was a pleasant experience. Very friendly staff and the facility is well maintained. When I arrived at the facility, I asked if I could see the size difference in the smaller units and the person working was happy to show me around. He walked me over to both spaces, and after I decided on one, he quickly processed the paperwork to get me on my way. I've always looked for extra space for things that I don't usually don't use. I've seen a lot of storage space locations but the customer service to those locations was horrible. Finally went to this extra storage space and man! First I was greeted by Michelle she saw I was clueless. She offered to help, great customer service! I believe she was the manager on site. She offered to show me different empty units to show me the sized. Finally I got my unit she got me to get insurance for it which I felt skeptical about first but then she explained it and I just had to jump on it to protect my belongings. Excellent service people !i recommend this place. The hours kinda differ but as for everything else it's convenient and safe.

The app to access the gate stated the gate access was denied because I was trying to enter "After Hours". The posted access and office hours time start at 8:00 AM and I was trying to enter the gate at 8:05 AM. I got there at 7:45 AM and waited until 8:00 AM, 8:02 AM, 8:05 AM to try gate access app, before calling customer support. I called customer support, and the person I spoke with was awesome. He called the office and then the cell phone of the office person, who stated that he was on-site would go to the front gate. The office person LIED. He drove up behind my car and went into the office around 8:15 AM and turned on his computer. So the two main issues: 1) Gate access app has an issue (can't tell time). 2) The office representative is a LIAR and is rarely in the office to support customers. On a positive note: The Call Center person was awesome! read more

I rented a storage unit from a company that was bought up by this company. From the second they took over there were problems, first I had to re apply for the unit that I already had by filling out all new paperwork. Then there was an automatic payment snag that required an extra visit to the office to straighten out. Since then they have added charges for insurance and a rent increase that amounts to a 30 percent increase. Now when I visit my unit I'm harassed about the amount of time I spend there. Twice as I was setting up a shelving unit I was approached and informed that I was not supposed to be there for too long. I still don't know what that means. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the manager, Cathy, and how she was so informative, friendly, and helpful in the meeting we had. She had to call me a couple times since my biz was slammed and I appreciate the follow up and reminders to come by after I made a reservation online. I decided to rent the space and she accommodated the need I had while sticking with the online price I was quoted, got me set with a lock which they sell there, and helped make sure the gate opened with the code she gave me. I was told the unit would be open when i got there and a lock would be inside. I got there when i told them i would get there and it was locked. My friend that came with me had experience with storage units and suggested we leave. After waiting they left. I called the # and it took over 30 minutes to get someone there after i suggested they contact someone. They opened it and left to find there was no lock inside so I had to call again and wait again. Finally I got a lock. The unit had no light inside. Hopefully my bad experience ends there. It seemed like no one I spoke to understood how the facility operated but were congenial. One person I called suggested I check another locker that was supposed to have a lock but that unit was also closed. I'm glad I was able to get help to open it but I don't think it should have been so difficult or take as much time as it did. 3 stars for value, congenial staff and ease of signing up. read more

The convenience of the storage to my home was just to amazing to pass up. Although it was a previous storage place, the transition to Extra Space had been smooth and they always communicated what was new. The price is pretty much the going rate as with everything else but we are in a different economy now a days so have to take the food with the bad...i would still recommend this site for your storage needs... read more
