    I requested a move 3 weeks in advance and explained that I needed to be out that day. The place was…read moregoing to be cleaned and put up for rent the next day. I got an estimate of 6-8 hours and I sent pictures of every room. I checked in through email and phone calls prior to the move and got no response. I later got a call back from Jairo Sanchez and he reassured me he was able to do the move. I asked him to come by to verify the contents prior to ensure he could accomplish the move in 6-8 hours. He set a date and time but never showed. I got a call and he asked if I could video the contents of the house and he did this often. I sent the video and he said it should be no problem to accomplish in 8 hours. I should have canceled at this point but I was close to the move date. He called the morning of the move and said he would be late due to traffic. He was supposed to be there at 9 but showed up at 10. He didn't have enough boxes and had to get more. I repeatedly reminded him that items were left in drawers and other rooms that needed to be packed. One of his packers broke a water shut off valve on the refrigerator wall and water went all over the kitchen floor. He helped clean it up but it delayed the move while I went to buy parts to cap the line. The move took 12 hours and nothing was unpacked. They assembled a bed, dropped items, and damaged pictures on my wall because they underestimated distances. After the move we discussed billing and he knocked off 2 hours for the price. He denied receiving pictures and videos but when he pulled out his phone everything was there showing I provided what was requested. I wasn't satisfied because his lack of preparation is what extended the time along with him taking non tolls during high traffic hours. He was very immature, over confident, and took no accountability. I am very understanding of mistakes, but he is very inexperienced and is driven by money versus being prepared to meet expectations. I believe he will say whatever it takes to be hired just to make money. I found him originally on thumbtack and after I hired him his profile disappeared. Please don't hire EFA moving or him for any moves.

He took on way more than he can chew, and was given an abundant amount of info regarding my move, packing & unpacking, several consecutive days in a row. I found them on Thumbtack by entering packing & unpacking "movers." They (3 very tiny men, 2 teenagers & 1 at least 60) came with a large Uhaul & I knew immediately it was not good. Moving from a 3700 sqft home, fully furnished to almost half the size took 15 hours! Thumbtack profile said $79/hr. I am very thorough, this was a big move & had to logistically & strategically plan every detail. I sent SEVERAL pics & discussed them all because he said he would then be able to give me a good estimate, which he never did, so the night before the "move" I texted him stating how we hadn't discussed pricing because originally the "move" was going have to take place over 2 days. I told him I was able to get the entire kitchen packed, linen closest, bedroom clothes in drawers, sent more pics & he said he could do it in one day. He gave me packing supplies estimate! At then end, he tried to charge me $2,700 for 15 hours & said "moving" is separate, which by the way, they didn't unpack 1 thing. They unloaded the truck, left so much stuff on my old home, which I sold & told him the new owners were moving in the very next day. He said, moving is separate from packing & unpacking, but we spoke verbally & via text & never once mentioned any of that & asked me twice if I needed them to put my tempurpedic bed & 2 other back together, since when don't you put back together what you broke down & moved? I told him about my bed from my initial contact request on Thumbtack. I couldn't take it, spent 45 minutes arguing about the price & how he came up with that amount & I can barely put my car in the garage because of all the stuff he lied & said was miscellaneous at the old house & didn't feel the need to go back. Thankfully I had cleaners there, inconvenienced because it took them 8 hours to pack & still not get it all & I had 50 bins, bags, etc packed up already, called me & said I heard him talking & I want to send you some pics of what he said is left. When I got them I was livid! I even gave him furniture that I was taking to Goodwill & he said he would like it. My Family putting things in their car, making 2 & 3 trips, still, they took 15 hours. Yes, it rained some, so that was a factor, but this little boy then called me a liar saying he told me an estimate & said my bed was was over 300 lbs..broken down & I didn't tell him, but again, told him & showed him what I had out the gate. Only beds put together, that's it & unloaded boxes all over the place & garage with trash brought from old house to new house that he just didn't check to see what was coming or not. I had a company at new house waiting hours for them to bring the tv's to hang, it was embarrassing & I had to pay for that & Jairo had the nerve to call him a handyman because he was able to also hang ceiling fans too & they still hadn't arrived & took 2 hours to unload the tx's because they were at the very back of packed items. I told them several times can we just get the tv's off? I was so upset. I told him I am having back surgery this month & can't do too much, now I have more than ever to do. Be specific & say, along with packing & unpacking, you need to move things, break down my beds & put them back together & I must have clear estimate beforehand. He gave me an estimate for packing supplies, wrapping, a few boxes because again, I had my own bins already packed & blankets to cover some items. I am 53, move hundreds of millions of dollars a week as a Closer in commercial real estate & very thorough and NOT a liar. This was the worst move of my life & I only paid him $79/hr & supplies & truck fee, which he never once told me what that cost was in the bg8nning & just threw it out there when I said I was absolutely not paying him $2,700. DO NOT HIRE this company. They don't have they don't have the manpower, nor the expertise for a big move..if you have a small apartment, maybe so, but not if you value your time & belongings. My brother came the next day to organize the complete mess they dumped in my garage at new home & found out they didn't complete the set up of my tempurpedic. A split king & he set up one side & not the other. Took an hour to find the cords in a clothes hamper with lamps & power straps. They were pretty much useless. I still can't locate remote controls for 3 televisions they took down. A complete disaster & I wish this App would allow 0 stars.

The moving company didnt show up the original date. I had to wait the next day. I have spoke with "Alex" 7134263222 several times trying to resolve issues that occurred during the move. My pottery barn sectional was stained, my stainless steel refrigerator is scratched and dented. I was over charged for labor. I was told I had to pay before the move was over because the office was closed and if I didn't pay. "Alex" was going to stop the movers and take my belongings that were still in the truck. I went with a more expensive moving company expecting a better experience than I did. I immediately contacted Alex via phone to tell him about my damages and overcharges now he is not accepting responsibility nor reimbursing me for the overcharged labor or any damages. He is trying to say my sectional was "stained" not damaged. Hmm that is damaged. And what about my brand new refrigerator it looks now like I bought it at a dent and scratch. Most importantly how are you not going to reimburse someone after you admittedly overcharged them? BE WARE ANY ONE THAT USES THIS COMPANY IT IS NOT SAFE OR PROFESSIONAL. I think he was trying and did take advantage of me because I'm a tiny little woman. I wish I would have saw the yelp review already filing a complaint with the same issues I had, before I used them. I did google review. I would just like to pay for the actual labor I received and get my Reimbursed overcharges back. I have left this review before but want to keep it active so people are aware of SCAM and to look at other people's reviews in google and yelp that pretty much had the same type of experience if he uses different company names I would google search his number just to be on the safe side. Hope this can help anyone Alex, Me and my husband did personal talk to you and you were our original moving company. And it was your movers that initialed the contract because the total hours to move was not accurate on the contract and it was me that asked the movers to correct the actual time it took and initial the corrections But I don't expect a honest reply or answer from you after having to deal with you and your company.

    This is a long review. It is honest and fair. I am writing it let people know how bad a moving…read morecompany can be, or at least from my perspective. I hired this company based off their rate and nothing more. This was my first mistake. I should have read more into the reviews and dug into the company with the BBB and such. I wanted them to move my mother's thing into a storage room, as she was moving out to another home at a later time. I told them how many rooms, and told them I needed it all packed in boxes and plastic wrapped. I was quoted around $1,200.00 for it all. I thought that was a very good price due them not even seeing how much. We budgeted that money, and were ready to go. Well, I will stop there. I will let you read the email I sent to owner (Santos) and the sales rep (Alex) asked for some type of reimbursement for all poor work they did. - Start of Email- Dear Alex, Thank you again for trying to help us resolve all the issues we had with your company. We know that you guys want to make it right and have a good image for years to come. Please allow me to give you the list of all the issues we have had with the moving team you sent us, and at the end we will let you know what we would like to ask of you to make it right. Pictures will be attached. 1) I asked Alex for their best team and gave them over a week notice. This did not happen. The lead driver was 18 years, other was 16, and the guy that did not speak English was 47. It made it very difficult to communicate with them when asking them questions. 2) We requested the moving team to show up between 8-9am.. They showed up at 9:30am due to flat tires ... But was called at 9:05am about being 20 min late. 3) 40% of the time the other two stood around while the 18 year old did the wrapping for the items to be moved. He was sweating all over our stuff while he was using his body to hold things in place while he solo wrapped our belongings. 4) No mask or gloves at all while on site. No offer to wear any too. 5) They had no idea how to move mattresses. Mattress was bent in half when moving it. 6) Layed bed frame in against windows and blinds, damaging blinds and scratching windows in home. 7) One of them was on their phone watching YouTube while the others worked. 8) They had no care on how they handled our stuff until I complained to Alex about this. 9) We were charged 10.00 for each USED, dirty, and damaged moving blanket. 10) The 16 year old over used packing supplies... Used our rolls of tape too. 11) We paid for mattress bags as our beds would be moved to storage. They damaged the bags by putting holes in them. The response is we need to make holes in them in order to move them. They laughed at me when I told them "what's the point of it being a mattress bag if there is holes in them" 12) This may be standard, but they charge you 65.00 to come to your location to start. And change you 95.00 to clean their truck out (even if it was only 30% full... All boxed and sealed) We are requesting a refund off all packing materials and two hour refund of labor for a total of no less than $500.00 Please let us know how you would like to proceed. - End- The company did not offer to do anything about it. Santos said they would have our insurance company look into. Nothing was ever done. We even tried to dispute it with our credit card company, and they pushed their eligible contract back at us. PLEASE PLEASE use caution if you choose to hire this company. Besafe, and think about just moving the stuff yourself or friends.
