The reasons are: they have an amazing customer service, they worked with our needs and they always, always got back at us when we needed, and for that reason if they got a bad review I just don't believe it's real. I usually don't do reviews because I never find the time to do it, but in this case I realized that they really deserve it. We move moved from Georgia to California and it was a big move, 4 bedrooms house. I called many companies in the area and many never returned my calls and others gave me an outrageous quote. Kelly from State to State called me the next day, she was amazing. I've dealt with her from the first date to the last and she was always pleasant and really helpful. She's worked with all our needs. It wasn't an easy move, we didn't have an address in California, everything had to stay in storage but they always found a way to accommodate things for us. Frank, the manager was always really nice and super helpful too. Most importantly, they do what they say. When I first got a quote from Kelly I also got a quote from a company back in California and this one was a thousand dollars cheaper but the customer service I've got from State was so much better that we've decided to go with them and I can tell you now that it was worth every penny. If you've move as many times as we have, you know what I mean. Having said that, I can say to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy moving company, this one is amazing and would definitely call them if we need to move again. Caroline P.

    I received top notch customer service from Dorothy, the manager on site during my reservation and…read moresubsequent move-in. She was patient and thorough in answering all of my questions. The facility just opened in Feb. 2015 so it's brand new and spotless. There are cameras everywhere, and each leasee has their own personal access code, so folks can't go running around all willy nilly. Now on the Public Storage system website: I had previously reserved a space at another facility, only to get there and find out that they in fact did NOT have the space I needed. The manager was apologetic and offered to check other nearby locations for availability. On the website there were four facilities near the one I had originally reserved, and all showed availability. Thank goodness the manager had the gumption to call and check because lo and behold they, too, did NOT have the space I needed. I would have been driving around like a crazy person. The website also does not advise that there is a $19 fee for the lock that comes with your unit, and that insurance is mandatory and not optional. Basically, they're not holding themselves liable for your stuff even though you're PAYING them a monthly fee to keep it secure. Okay, sheesh. An extra $11/mo to insure items that aren't even worth half the maximum liability. Ultimately not a big deal to me but may be to someone else. The $1 promotional move-in rate is a selling point and is advertised just about everywhere. It was on the website and is posted on a banner outside of the building; it's even posted here on Yelp! So imagine my surprise when I arrive to move in and my reservation can no longer be found, despite me having a confirmation email and receiving a prompt call from Dorothy to confirm. It just disappeared out of the system! I re-do the reservation on site from my phone, and you guessed it, no more promo rate listed for my space! I now have to pay the $53 full month rate plus the $22 admin fee (whatever that is) plus the $19 lock fee, plus the $11/mo insurance, and now I'm over 100 bucks for move in. So much for $1 being a selling point. I would have made a fuss but quite frankly it wasn't Dorothy's fault and I needed to move ASAP. I suppose this is how these people make their money. Nevertheless, I'm semi content knowing that my stuff will be secure while I'm abroad, but it would certainly behoove Public Storage Systems to provide thorough, up-to-date and accurate information on their website!

    I am extremely disappointed with my experience with All My Sons Moving and feel as though we were…read moretaken advantage of. When booking, we were led to believe our move would cost around $1,500. Instead, our final bill was over $3,300--more than double what we anticipated. One of the main reasons we chose this company was because we were promised a 20% military discount. We actually canceled with another moving company based on that representation. When it came time to pay, I specifically asked where the military discount had been applied because I could not identify it on the invoice. The gentleman I spoke with was unable to explain where or how the discount had been applied, and after getting the runaround, I was told to review the invoice and let them know if I had any questions. After reviewing the invoice, all I could identify was the company's standard rate, and I still could not determine where the promised discount had been applied. The movers arrived at 10:00 a.m., but the fourth mover did not arrive until after 11:00 a.m. Despite that, we were billed as if four movers were present for the entire move. I do not believe customers should be charged for labor that was not provided. Additionally, while the crew lead was very nice and respectful, he appeared to spend much of the day outside listening to music and socializing while the rest of the crew completed the move. If we are paying for a crew of four movers, I would expect four movers actively working on the move, not two or three while one crew member spends a significant amount of time off the job. When I paid, I was specifically told that if the crew finished earlier than estimated, any unused time would be credited back and that billing adjustments were calculated in 15-minute increments. The crew finished approximately 30 minutes earlier than the time we were ultimately billed through, yet no adjustment was made. What has been even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication afterward. Our move took place on June 13, and the final invoice was sent at 7:45 p.m. that same evening. I emailed with concerns regarding the billing on June 15 and followed up again on June 17. As of June 29, I still have not received any response. Mistakes can happen, but ignoring a customer's legitimate billing concerns for over two weeks is unacceptable. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency, unexpected costs, billing discrepancies, and complete lack of follow-up have left me feeling highly disappointed and taken advantage of. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
