Frustrated Long-Term Customer -- Great Manager on site (Shauna) and Arnett, Terrible upper Management. ExtraSpace Storage raised my unit price nearly $100 within 24hours because no one with authority was available to approve the "change of mind" it in time. The on-site manager was polite but admitted she has no power to override or adjust anything, and when I asked to speak with someone above her, she said there's no number she could provide. The "touchless entry" I'm paying for doesn't work, and the restrooms are often locked -- even during business hours. Premium prices, zero accountability. read more

Do not rent a storage unit here. Since the manager Ceasar Gonzalez left nothing has been the same. He made many sweeps throughout his shift (as they should). Our unit was broken into on a Saturday and we weren't notified about it until Monday evening. Current manager said "All Las Vegas Extra space storages get broken into" and that "we just want someone to blame" All we were told is that they will look at the camera footage to shut us up. All cameras need to be upgraded since you can't identify anything or anyone on them. Very disappointing especially for all that's lost. You would think that if someone needs a pin to get in and out of the facility you can pin point who stole on your property. Wish I could give 0 stars. read more

After only a few months my rent went up from $96 to $115, and after one year they sent a piece of mail (why not an email at least??) with 3 weeks notice that rent was going up to $186. And this is during finals and the holidays. I'm sure it's strategic. Either way, I just can't reward a business like this with my money so I'm moving out within 3 weeks during finals if it kills me. We arrived in Las Vegas after a boating vacation with our boat in tow. After reserving a covered space and visiting the location we chose to move forward with a month-to-month rental. The process was quick and easy. I would give negative stars if possible. DO NOT STORE ANYTHING YOU CARE ABOUT HERE. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!! Everything my daughter and her husband owns was stolen from the storage unit on Ann Rd in Las Vegas and nobody has done a thing about it. Their furniture, personal items, wedding gifts ALL GONE!! We filed a police report, cops don't care, the manager has no answers as to how the people got in after hours. Sounds like someone is covering up what really happened. I hope other people see this so they know to never store their things here. My next complaint is to the Better Business Bureau and every other site I can find. For the people who say they never call you back, be thankful!!! read more

I was notified that my RV was vandalized while paying $334.00 a month for a secure storage. TWO doors with broken locks, and another storage door forced open. Tools stolen. Their recommendation: File a police report. I was not the only victim. Merry Christmas. read more

They didn't mention anything about rate evaluation or increases but after reading some of the reviews it won't surprise me if I get hit with them later on but for now it really saved my bacon as I had to move on short notice. We have rented a 10 x 10 now for a couple years. In that time, the monthly price has gone from $150 to now over $300! They say it is because of a city wide increase in storage prices, which is false. I have found 4 storage company's that have locked in prices for more than half of what they are charging. Needless to say, I'll be switching storage companies. read more

If I could put negative star I'll do it, the worst storage experience with this manager here. 11/30/2017 i called the call center to request information for cancel unit. They told me the storage will contact me and confirm the date. When storage unit lady called, she was very friendly and asked me the date i want to move out, which i told her 12/23/2017, but she said she can't change the system since she put in the process for 12/20, but make sure to call after 12/20 then she can process another date by then. I agreed and gave her the credit card number and made the payment. Then 12/1/2017 The Manager called and tried to blame me on their side of human error, he told me i have to pay for another month till 1/20/2018 ( when I called to set a day to cancel my storage, they told me I can change the date, but they couldn't) the manager on the phone was very rude and loud. He got very angry because I asked him to fix the problem his employee created. All he said is my system can't do it. What you want me to do? Whatever..... whatever you said. He talked very unprofessional, when I asked to speak to their district manager, he decided to hang up my phone twice. When I called again to ask his name and told him to calm down, he raise his voice and told me "whatever" the third time. This is the worst ever, do not go to this storage unit as long as this manager is there, he is for sure not what you want to work with. I don't write reviews ever but this time I felt the need to. I've had a storage unit with Extra Space Storage for almost 3 years. They just increased the rent $40 for a second floor 10 x 10 unit. This is the second increase with this company, a total for $80 increase over three years. I looked into downsizing my unit only to find out they are offering the same unit for $100 cheaper! This company is a complete scam! They know that most people will take an increase and not have to hassle wIth with moving all of their things. So now I am not downsizing but moving my stuff and going else where. I hope this company can learn a thing or two about customer loyalty. read more

Had I filled this out last month, it would likely have been 5 stars dealing with Karla. I just had the absolute worst experience with the "new" manager, Cleva. Obnoxious, belligerent and rude. I just put in a complaint with their corporate offices. Their office made an error that could have easily been corrected - instead of even offering to correct it, Cleva continuously and loudly spoke over me, and in the end told me to go ahead and make sure my things are out before my next payment was due if I wasn't happy. Absolutely horrible customer service skills! I do NOT recommend this place so long as this individual - or anyone like Ceva - is employed here! read more
