    Poor management!

The way Stephanie (manager) treated me was like." Me being on one of the planes that flow into one of the world trade buildings on 9/11. The first time I rented was with Loius Rodriguez (Great manager). I came back a second time. All was well, I moved out and decided I'll come back a third time and All Hell broke loose. I had an automobile accident (which I'm having surgery on 5-17-2022). I paid 274.00 and asked for some time to move out and she agreed only to go on hiatus. Made promises that she didn't keep, played dumb as to what was going on. Property kept in deplorable conditions, parking in disabled parking and leaving people who are disabled to find parking elsewhere. I'm considering legal action!

WARNING ABOUT SHIPPING A VEHICLE WITH USHIP…read more I want to share my experience so hopefully it does not happen to someone else. I booked a vehicle shipment through UShip. Once my vehicle was picked up, things immediately went wrong. My car disappeared and I had no real information about the company that picked it up. When I contacted UShip for help, I was told to stop calling and only communicate through email with their legal department and customer support. After that, no one returned my calls, no one provided answers, and no one helped locate my vehicle. To make things worse, whoever had the car disabled my OnStar, so I could no longer track where the vehicle was going. When I asked UShip for the transporter's information, they claimed they did not collect or verify basic information such as insurance, DOT numbers, or even proof of who the transporter actually was. In other words, someone can pick up your car through their platform and they may not even know who they really are. Another thing people need to understand is this: when you voluntarily give your car to a transporter, many police departments will not list it as stolen if the vehicle disappears. They often treat it as a civil contract dispute, meaning they say no crime has been committed and tell you that you must sue the company yourself. If that happens, you may never see your car again, and in many cases your insurance company will not pay the claim because it was never officially listed as stolen. In my situation, I was fortunate that one detective took the time to review all the evidence I had gathered. Based on the information I provided, he agreed that this was not simply a contract dispute and had the vehicle listed as stolen. After doing my own investigation and working with law enforcement, I was able to obtain historical OnStar location data showing where the vehicle had traveled. That information led police to an operation where vehicles were being loaded into shipping containers to be sent overseas. My car was found inside one of those containers, and law enforcement recovered around 30 stolen vehicles that were returned to their owners. If that detective had not taken the time to listen and list the vehicle as stolen, I likely would have never recovered my car and my insurance company would never have paid the claim. My advice: be extremely careful about who you trust to ship your vehicle. Make sure you know the transporter, their insurance, their DOT registration, and who is actually responsible for your car. Based on my experience, *using UShip can leave you completely unprotected if something goes wrong.

Absolutely terrible experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company unless you want to…read morebe overcharged, ignored, and left with broken belongings. I was originally quoted $1,551.12 with an 8% discount and was told the move would likely cost closer to $1,200 because the movers probably wouldn't need the full loading time. In reality, they only took about 1.5 hours to load and 1 hour to unload, and I actually had LESS furniture than what I originally described during the estimate. Despite that, my final bill ended up being nearly $2,000. The company added almost $400 in packing material charges for wrapping things that absolutely did not need to be wrapped, including pillows, blankets, and even a pool float. The 8% discount I was promised also mysteriously did not apply to many of these added charges. To make matters worse, three of my items were shattered during the move. The most concerning part is that when I signed the "Interstate Bill of Lading Contract - Calculation Addendum," the option for full replacement coverage had already been crossed out by the company, leaving me with only the option that limits reimbursement to $0.60 per pound per damaged item. Since the move, my family and I have attempted to contact the company over 8 times by phone and voicemail for clarification on the charges and to discuss the damaged items. No one has responded. We were even left on hold with the company line for several minutes with no answer. At this point, it feels like this company's business model is quoting one price, dramatically increasing charges at the last minute, damaging customers' belongings, and then disappearing when it's time to take responsibility. Do not use this company unless you are prepared for surprise charges, broken furniture, and zero customer service afterward.

They never once disclosed my items would be transferred multiple times, and handle with negligence. I was quoted under $2600 but somehow ended up paying $5200 and left with over $2000 in damaged items. Mind you, I only paid because my belongings were being held hostage. Lisa is rude, and Melissa is even worse. Their offer to shut me up was a laughable $100. It's alright though, my lawyers are at work.

Clutter Storage was the first company that made everything feel easy. William, Bryan, and Nelson gave genuinely 10/10 service. Communication was great before arrival, they handled everything carefully, moved fast, and I didn't have to micromanage anything. I was literally getting work done while they packed and moved my entire apartment. Biggest bonus honestly: I didn't even have to figure out parking for the truck. If you've moved in South Florida, you know how annoying that alone can be. They already had everything handled. This was my third move here and Clutter Storage is officially my go to from now on. Great prices, authentic energy, and people that actually care about doing things right. Huge thank you to William, Bryan, and Nelson for making the whole experience smooth.

Hands down the BEST moving company I've ever worked with!…read more I recently moved to Florida and found Lifestyle Moving and Storage on Yelp. At first, I was skeptical because they had no reviews in Florida--but just like me, they're relocating too! And let me tell you, I'm SO glad I gave them a chance. They helped me move from a rental in Plantation into my own condo not far from there, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. I texted them a photo of my apartment furniture and VASO quickly gave me a quote. Even when my move-out date changed, they were super accommodating and responsive. On move-in day, they texted me early to confirm and arrived right on time with a truck that fit everything perfectly. Milos and Carlos were absolutely amazing--professional, fast, and extremely careful with all my belongings. They wrapped my glassware, bed, large furniture, and packed my flat screens and clothes using a special clothing rack. They even handled all the boxes I packed myself. I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they worked while treating all my things with care. Thanks to Lifestyle Moving and Storage, my move was easy and stress-free. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone moving in or around Florida!

I have moved many times across the country, and I can confidently say that this was by far the best experience I've ever had with a moving company. From the moment they arrived, the team was prompt, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They handled everything with care and efficiency, clearly knowledgeable and well-prepared for the task. What stood out the most was how much they genuinely cared--not just about my belongings, but about making sure I felt supported throughout the entire process. It truly felt like they had my back every step of the way. Their honesty and dedication were refreshing, and it made a stressful day so much easier. If you're looking for a moving team that combines skill with heart, look no further. I highly recommend them and will be referring anyone I know who's planning a move. I would not recommend All My Sons Moving in Fort Lauderdale…read more My recent move with this company was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The lack of communication alone created unnecessary stress. The movers arrived late with no call, and when they finally showed up, they went to the wrong address--adding extra time to my bill for an error that was not mine. Once the move began, the issues continued. The crew did not use furniture pads and instead used tape in several instances, which resulted in a piece of my furniture being broken. They did not communicate the damage until the very end, and they left the broken item in the hallway of my apartment building. Because of this, my apartment complex charged me a fee for leaving damaged goods behind. Per my contract, the movers were supposed to pack the kitchen, but the crew was unaware of this and said they didn't have time to complete it. They were also contracted to disassemble and reassemble furniture; however, at the new location they were reluctant to reassemble anything, causing further delays and additional charges. Although they moved items down from a third-floor apartment, they refused to bring several pieces to the second floor of my townhome, leaving them on the first floor. I had to find additional help to get the furniture where it needed to go. No paperwork was completed on-site before the move began, and at the end I was only asked to initial one document. Even though payment had already been pre-authorized, I was required to provide my credit card information again over the phone. When the invoice finally arrived days later, the time listed was inaccurate and appeared to include the period when they were at the wrong address as well as a dinner break before delivering my furniture. This experience was unprofessional, costly, and stressful. Save your money and your peace of mind--look elsewhere for your move.
