I scheduled a move that was supposed to begin at 7:00 a.m., and the time was repeatedly delayed throughout the day (9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.), with little to no consistent communication. Meaningful communication did not begin until approximately 4:00 p.m., after the day was already lost. The agreed-upon terms were not honored. The job was supposed to include four workers, a 20-foot truck, and completion within 4-5 hours. These conditions were not met. At one point, they were unable to secure a truck at all, and I had to step in to try to resolve the situation myself. As a result of these failures, I experienced over $2,000 in financial loss and significant disruption over two days. Additionally, their handling of the truck situation caused a $1,608 issue to be connected to my U-Haul account. While I resolved the matter myself, it required immediate attention and time to correct a problem that should never have occurred. After the move, I was informed by the storage facility manager that an item fell during the move and a breaking sound was heard. This was never disclosed to me at any time. During our interaction, Adolphus Pinckney stated, "I wouldn't blame you if you don't pay us anything--I'm quite sure you're not going to pay us anything." Despite that statement acknowledging the situation, I still paid the full contract amount in good faith. There was no acknowledgment, no apology, and no effort made to provide compensation or resolve the situation. I made multiple attempts to address this directly before posting this review, but received no meaningful response. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Another customer entered the building and Tori greeted him. I wasn't sure if she saw me behind the couple so I stepped around them and said I'm next and she gestured she saw my. When she helped email label to return an Amazon product and pointed to a printer and informed me my label would print there. While I was waiting she helped the man she greeted before assisting me. She scanned his phone and gave her a product. Once she was done my label had printer and she helped me. Tori was polite and courteous. She even explained she greet her customers when they enter and ask what service they needed and that she was going to assist me after her initial inquiry. She didn't have to explain her procedures to assist customers and if made me feel seen and heard. That I sincerely appreciated and with efficacy she took care of the customers all while be patient. This was my first visit to this location and whenever I have needs that can be assisted via UPS I'll definitely return. The store was clean and a bit smaller so prepare for social distancing options. Just a side note. Greetings are kind and professional. Just like Tori greets customers so should the other staff. Calling someone name out without a hello or I'll be right with you seems a bit obtuse. Customer service agents must understand they are agents of service to customer. Thanks Tori hopefully they'll emulate your customer service skill set.

    You will be impressed with this company, and they are honest…read more ALBO moved me last week, and this was my 2nd time using them. I moved from Delaware to NJ and this time, back to Delaware. My team consisted of Alex, the owner, who honored their 5 % discount if booked 3 weeks before moving, and my movers, Eugene and Serge. Eugene contacted me the day before to confirm & ask some questions about my contents, and he kept me informed all along as to their arrival time. All went well but it took longer than expected with only 2 men. They were careful and followed my instructions re: delicate or previously damaged furniture. I asked if they would tell me when the heavy furniture was coming inside because I wanted to put padding on the legs to protect the wooden floors. This slowed them up but it helped me because I might have forgotten about doing that later. Also, I asked them to carry many boxes to the basement, and that I appreciated so much. I was very concerned about one piece, an antique rocker that had 2 breaks in one leg. Much to my surprise, Eugene placed a reinforced bandage on the leg and I am still using it until I take it to get repaired. While packing the month before, I had forgotten where I had hid some valuable jewelry. Well, low and behold, when my bedroom was already emptied, I saw my 2 stashes of gold and silver on the window sill. When I went to Eugene, I commented that I would never have known if they had kept it, and thanked him profusely. His response, "My parents taught me right, I guess." As far as Albo's rates and overall value go....You can't put a price on this kind of integrity and work ethic. The fact that I used them twice in 2 years speaks for itself. Packing for a move is one of the worst stresses in life. But having a moving company that is reliable and trustworthy will free up your mind to concentrate on other important things during your move.

He was supposed to come Friday morning at 11am. 11:40 rolls around and no word from him. So my boyfriend and I try calling him and messaging him. Nothing. 4 hours go by and we get a long text message about how he was rear ended and in the hospital... so we say we're sorry to hear that but can you please send our money back as we hired you to complete a moving service and you didn't do it. (We had to hire a whole other moving crew last minute which wasn't cheap) He says he's going to... a full day goes by and still nothing. So finally we get tired of dealing with him and threaten to file a magistrate against him since we have proof that he didn't show up along with messages from other people saying the same thing. So then he blocks my number and blocks me on social media. Finally 2 days later he pays us back from some random girls cash app account (I'm hoping she knows he used it) and asks for me to take my reviews down off facebook. Instead I decided to write another one on here lol. Because of him I have no access to my money since I had to shut my debit card off to make sure he didn't get my $200. Don't use him!
