We had our belongings for our first home stored here for less then a year and this (photos below) are what we returned to. When I tell you this was a complete infestation of rodents, not one or two who crept in. Obviously pests can infiltrate these spaces but this is an extreme case - clearly showing negligence by the management to keep up with control and protect people's belongings. Whatever they claim their policy on pest control to be, let this be a warning that they are likely doing the bare minimum at this facility. We had mostly unopened gifts from our wedding registry and furniture stored here and all of the furniture was destroyed. We had our mattresses and rug in protected bags but they were destroyed regardless. Our couch, rugs, mattresses, desk, all covered in urine and feces. No compensation for the thousands of dollars we lost in furniture and monthly payments. We were told that the only way we would have received compensation if we had paid even more monthly for the insurance coverage. Regardless whatever we would have received in compensation would have been less then if we had just thrown our items away in the move rather than store them at this facility. To top it off- three days after we discovered this disaster we received a letter that they were raising the price of the unit. Even more money monthly to have our belongings completely ruined! We spent the day sanitizing whatever we could salvage and moving our belongings to a more trusted facility (and cheaper). I suggest you research and save yourself the headache by going with another facility.

The price was fair and Mitch was very helpful during the whole process. The movers that I had, Esau, Thomas, and Shawn were all incredibly friendly and efficient. In fact, they were the same guys my mother had for her move only 7 months prior! These guys got to my original location early and were careful, as well as intelligent, instead of being the stereotypical yes men that I have seen movers be in the past. For 6 hours of work (the travel time to Brooklyn was the biggest part of the move), everything I packed survived the move. They even put my mother's bed back together prior to them leaving for Brooklyn. That was very nice of them. When I finally went to move my things from their unit to a different one, my boxes were just tossed in what looked like a junk heap with ZERO care and I found out I was being ridiculously overcharged for literally a square spot in a garage. As my family and I were moving my items from their unit warehouse to our own truck we rented because the owner was going to charge us too much money for his employees to do it, EVERY BOX or piece we moved had broken, missing or damaged sections/items. the owner watched us as we took each box literally blaming us because we "touched it". the owner of this company is FOUL and nothing I owned was packed with care. I cannot speak highly enough of this storage facility. I had to scramble at the last minute to…read morefind a unit the same day and Maurice was extremely helpful and accommodating. When I arrived at the facility it was closed but I had no problem accessing my storage unit. It could not possibly have been any easier to load my items (backed the UHaul right up to a garage, loaded everything onto the provided carts, fit all of my belongings in the elevator in one trip, and easily loaded into the storage room). This place is great! My only concern is that renters can access the facility after hours, so the security of my belongings is dependent on trusting the other renters. If someone else comes in after hours and doesn't properly lock up (doesn't lock the garage, for instance), the security of everyone's belongings is compromised. I wish there was a way to address this because it is a bit concerning (perhaps auto-locking garages that close and lock after a set amount of time?). Aside from that, everything was great! Highly recommended!
