O.K. back to the Stone Age like we're at Walmart. This is a very large U-Haul rental center. I don't understand how they can't afford to fix the card reader so that tap to pay works. Then when I told the guy I only had Apple Pay, and asked if he could take my card info (I've done this before at other U-Haul locations) and he told me that he couldn't. He was completely unhelpful and his demeanor told me that if it wasn't easy for him, he didn't want to do his job. And then when I went to return it, whoever designed this complex failed to consider the size and how much equipment lives here. The return area is a joke compared to the rest of the joint. All in all at this facility, customer service just about leaves everything to be desired. I definitely would recommend you just go to another one even if the equipment you need is super far out of the way. It's so NOT worth wasting your time or money here.

Everything was packed with great care and the items they unpacked were organized very nicely in our new home. They were very accommodating about removing our boxes and even notified us when they found a precious framed photo in the packing material we sent back to them. That photo was mailed back to us right away! Their service is very expensive. Because of this, we chose to do the unpacking after moving day by ourselves. Unfortunately, our moving day was extra long due to a snafu with the movers (see my review of Fuller moving company), so we went over estimate with New Leaf and not as much unpacking as we had hoped could be done. If I could do this again, I would have added an extra day of unpacking with New Leaf to help with the large boxes and more organization, but as I said before our budget was limited. Sara from New Leaf helped with negotiations with the moving company so we were not overcharged. Their services are very valuable for those of us with physical limitations who want to make moving less stressful. They are professional and very pleasant to work with. I recommend them highly for their services.

We ran into some complications with the sale of our house, and Vicky and Rob were incredibly flexible with our timeline. They took the time to talk everything through with me and honestly helped calm me down during a super stressful situation. That level of care meant a lot. On moving day, they showed up right on time and worked so hard the entire time. They made the most of every minute (which we really appreciated since they charge hourly) and handled all of our large items efficiently and carefully. The mover handed me paperwork for signature, so there's really no good excuse not to hand me my keys. Mover was adimint he told me I'm putting your keys here, on top of vehicle, but then turns around and asks if I searched my van thoroughly. That set of keys costed me fifty bucks I didn't have! Oh and his advice was to back track my road trip, maybe ide find them on the side of the road somewhere. Mind you, ide have to drive into oncoming traffic, or walk along the freeway for about twenty miles. Cold hearted in my observation.
