Thank you so much Ross and crew!! I HIGHLY recommend Roadway Moving! The experience with Roadway started off great! They were attentive, and the personal care for our move was so nice. We loved our movers and they took amazing care of our belongings! UNTIL... the moving truck hit the gate at my boyfriends apartment building. At first they were great about it. Someone reached out and took all the information, reached out to the management company of the building etc. The management company sent a quote to Roadway for the damage, and we thought everything was in the works, and all would be taken care of. Well, its been over a month since our move, and after MANY emails, texts and phone calls we have not heard a PEEP from Roadway. This is unbelievably unprofessional, frustrating, and SO disappointing after the move itself was such a great experience. I am writing this review to hopefully get the attention of someone at Roadway, and get this taken care of immediately. Understandably the building wants to get this fixed, and supposedly someone from Roadway is suppose to come and asses the damage...but we have never heard from anyone. They are holding my boyfriends security deposit, and now I am afraid that if they get it fixed without roadways physical assessment of the damage, that roadway won't cover the damages at all and we will get stuck paying for it. THIS SUCKS. Time to step up Roadway! ....and step up they did! Great customer service!

The cost of those items was $3000. They said I didn't have the right "insurance". Why did I need additional insurance to make sure they did the basic job of moving my stuff and not stealing my couch????? They reimbursed me $1500. half of what they owed me. After I paid them more than $20k to move my stuff. BEYOND disappointing.

    Update: After…read moreposting this review; a representative reached out offering to take my coffee table and promise of no additional costs. I will post my final review upon delivery and update it to 5-stars in January if everything else goes smoothly. Appreciate the customer resolution here. Original Review: They picked up my stuff today, so far it has been a mixed bag with BLVD Moving. The pickup crew Jaime and Irvin were great and understanding and did a great job packing up the stuff and taking care of my concerns. 10/10 humans. They packed very efficiently and with care. However dispatch manager Ethan so far has been extremely rude and doesn't even explain his reasoning of why the moving estimate cf was so high. I've moved a one bedroom twice in the past with the same stuff and total cf was approx 400 for both and their final inventory came to 470 ish so seems like the estimation software they use overestimates (I had to take out my coffee table to get to a price I could afford). The sales folks Ryan and Matt have not returned my calls or emails in the last 3 days regarding charge discrepancies than what was promised when I signed. I even offered to have a video call for an accurate estimate but on pickup my charges went from an initial estimate of $3200 for a one bedroom to $3600 the day before to $4000. Did I have a few more boxes packed overnight? Yes. But not more to justify the exorbidant cost increase. I am hoping for a smooth delivery experience with no more additional fees and more direct and honest communication.

They charged me an additional $400 the day before deliver where I had no choice but to pay it * They held my items until I paid them the "additional charges" they demanded and did not uphold the original "binding estimate" they gave me. 2. My items were broken * My boxes arrived with 4 of my frames broken, a hole in the back of my dresser, and a support beam in my couch is unfixable (see pictures attached for reference.) 3. They didn't deliver in the window they told me * The window was 2-10 days from the pick-up date and they delivered on the 13th day. They also did a terrible (I mean absolutely terrible) job of communicating when they would deliver.   From start to finish, my experience with this company was awful. My "agent" (Brent Sanchez) would redirect every question and concern I have to where they never got resolved. I have used the moving company MiniMoves in the past for long distance moves and I will definitely be going back to them.

I was nervous because I have a lot of fragile and valuable items like paintings, canvases, multiple monitors, a full desk setup, and art supplies that I've collected over years. Moving all of that is stressful no matter what but these guys made it genuinely easy. What stood out most was how attentive the team was from the very first minute. They walked in and immediately started asking questions about what needed special attention, how I wanted things wrapped, what order I wanted things loaded. They didn't just grab stuff and throw it on the truck, they actually listened and followed every instruction without me having to repeat myself. As an artist that meant everything to me because I've had movers in the past who treated my paintings like crap. The speed was also impressive!! I fully expected the move to take most of the day but they were efficient without ever feeling rushed or careless. They had a system and worked together well, I was able to finish up some work while they were doing their thing. When we got to the new studio nothing was damaged, nothing was missing, and everything was placed exactly where I asked. The whole experience from start to finish was smooth and professional. If you're in LA and you have valuable or fragile items and you need movers who will actually treat your stuff with care, don't overthink it. Rigos is the move. I'll definitely be using them again.     They started great! I was ready to give them 5 stars, but the ending has been so purely bad…read more. So they got to my bed, and first they broke a slat bringing it into the house from the truck. Then the movers decided to not disassemble it before bringing it up the stairs. They banged my walls quite a bit before realizing they'd need to disassemble it anyways. So they did, but when they put it back together they used power tools. I didn't know any better (although they, the professionals, should!), but apparently that's a big no-no because you can easily strip the wood, and that's exactly what they did. Also apparently they didn't put it back together properly because i found one of its bolts lying on the ground after they left, not sure where that goes. But ultimately the bed frame was damaged, and now i need a new bed frame. Randomly, they also damaged the sliders on one of my dresser drawers. Luckily my boyfriend was able to fix it, so I didnt need reimbursement, just adding to give a picture of their carelessness. The movers went back to their truck as I called their manager, Martha, about the damage. Martha quoted me their $0.60 per pound reimbursement policy for damaged property. But then offered me a $25 discount. I said $0.60 on a 216.5lbs bed is $129.90. She said the movers told her it was 150lbs. (they were ignoring the headboard and storage drawers, but if I have to replace the bed, I also lose the headboard and drawers??) so she offered $50, then $60. But the $0.60 per pound for the 150 lbs she *thought* it was is still $90... so these offers were dishonest on her part, and honestly a little insulting. The movers wouldn't leave until payment was processed, so after a particularly stressful phone call with her I processed payment with the $60 discount with the understanding that I would email their claims dept for the rest of the money back. I emailed saying I wanted the rest of the $69.90, and they offered $40 in return for a 5 star review. I'm not sure why they thought I would think them stiffing my request by almost 50% in exchange for a dishonest recounting of my experience was a fair deal... but I decided losing out on $40 was worth my honesty, and them getting the review they deserve. P.s. they tried to say because my bed was 10 years old, the overall condition would have been affected. So they tried to make me think them stripping the wood with power tools is an age issue, and not a them using power tools issue?? My bed was working just fine before they broke it, thanks very much.

RED FLAG #1 We recently used them from L.A. to Chicago in July/August. First of all, when making our reservation we spoke with TOM who seemed nice and assured us that they have dedicated trucks and were not a broker - we believed him. He said we would receive a call 4+days prior to our pick up date to confirm our inventory, pick up date, etc. NOBODY EVER CALLED. We had to call them 2 days prior to our pick up. RED FLAG #2 During pick up, SAM KHALIFA persisted to tell us that we needed 1800 cf of truck space. We moved from Chicago to L.A. a year before and only used 1200 cf so we knew how much space we needed on our return. SAM forced us to pay the additional charges for "1800 cf" even before the truck was loaded. He also left prior to the truck being loaded and never came back. Once the remaining "local" hired crew were done, they said they could not tell us how much cf we used in the truck. RED FLAG #3 During loading, the crew had dropped 6+ stacked chairs on top of me, my husband, Sam and the mover himself, causing damage to all of our dining chairs. The crew assured us these would be repaired while at their loading facility (in Bell) prior to being shipped out to our final delivery location. FALSE. Our chairs arrived untouched and damaged from the fall. RED FLAG #4 The whole entire time, SAM kept insisting we write him a positive review. Over and over again. We called him later in the day to reconfirm the chairs would be repaired and after he assured us they would be, he again asked us to write a positive review. RED FLAG #5 During delivery of our items in Chicago, our items were delivered by "Roadway Moving" - a third party freight company and NOT a direct delivery truck of "Cali Relocation". So, Tom lied during our reservation calls. RED FLAG #6 Also during delivery, the foreman had to use a porter truck to be able to unload our items at our place. He rented a U-Haul truck that was 26 ft long, our items had about 5 ft space to spare at the back, so doing our measurements we only calculated 1240 cf (as we initially knew). So, SAM, TOM, JIM, GEORGE, DAWN --- we'd like you to respond to our complaint and email. At this point your company has showed no integrity or honesty. You are aware about Sam's cockiness yet it seems to be a common experience here. RED FLAG #7 A bunch of our stuff arrived broken. We are glad we purchased additional independent insurance. But CRS only offers 60 cents/lb - NEVER use this default with any company. Items that were broken: - (2) filing cabinets whose wheels are bent beyond repair - Patio furniture with metal legs bent - Various boxes arrived SMUSHED - Dining chairs damaged at pick up that were not repaired - Dented stainless steel trash cans - Broken XL outdoor planters For all else reading this, DEFINITELY TAKE HEED IN ALL OF THE WARNINGS. Use someone else who will be HONEST.

I called Bison, and Steve was amazing; I was in tears, and he listened and moved my stuff the next day. When his crew walked in, I was instantly relieved, and the crew leader stayed near my side while they packed me up. I was able to get out without any more drama. They packed my things professionally and stored them for free for up to a month. I give Bison a five star and will be eternally grateful for the job they did so professionally.

A whole crew of folks show up on moving day with a truck that is 3/4 full. They pack all of our entire house. Wrapped up in boxes and in bubble wrap. Lined up on the street directly behind the truck and then proceed to tell me that the $8,000 only covered what they have room for in the truck based off the estimate. My entire household of items was held hostage with my closing date being the following day. They explained they needed another truck and that the additional cost is $7000. Bison did not apologize, Evan went into hiding and no one wanted to hear our story as this is a part of their ploy. They quote you, give you what would be a conceivable deal and then hold your items Mercy by claiming that we had more items than what they expected. This is how they bait you and hold you hostage. I will never recommend this company to anyone and I am quite surprised they are still doing business.
