Team arrived with no knowledge of anything discussed with R. Pink causing them to delay while my agent and I texted to clarify same instructions Riley was given. When they collected the check, they provided an invoice $600 higher than quote given. I felt it was a Bait and Switch scheme. They actually billed me over $300 more for excess time that was spent. That wouldn't have happened if Pink had taken care of communicating with his movers. I refused to pay the higher invoice, and paid the unfair extra time charge. Movers were amicable but off putting with their hard hitting hints for a tip towards the end of the move. One even had the audacity to tell me I could give them a lightly used refrigerator as a tip. Hurricane Hilary hit the west coast in August of 2023. Hurricanes in California, who knew? The tropical storm residue of the hurricane came through the San Gabriel Valley and decided to stress test our roof. It failed. We had to move out while the construction fixes were done to repair the damage. Pink Transfer swept in to save the day and to expertly pack and move all of our stuff out. The workers were all very friendly, and in our frazzled state, reassured us in their expert approach to our furniture and personal property. They treated everything like it was their own. They were so careful with everything that we were very comfortable with what they were doing. All of our stuff was taken out and packed into multiple large wooden storage containers that were ultimately sealed for transport to their warehouse to hold until our house was repaired. Each of our items was bar coded with a small sticker to document all of our items in their inventory. This was very reassuring as we handed over all of our stuff during this very anxious and difficult time. Two to three months later, when all of our repairs were complete, Pink Transfer brought all of our things back and opened each of the large wooden storage crates where our things had been napping. They carefully brought everything back into the house and placed each item where we wanted. Their expert and friendly staff were very understanding and accommodating. We wish that the catastrophic roof failure had never happened but Pink stepped in and in our moment of need provided superior customer service and skillful packing and moving as well as careful storage of all of our stuff. BEWARE of this company, they are seemingly a fraudulent company that throws out the highest price just to see if an uneducated, unprepared consumer will bite. This company is absolutely out of line and completely out of range of any normal moving company. I just contacted pink transfer to get a quote to move a small one bedroom apartment's worth of furniture from Ventura, California to Seattle, Washington. I called 8 different companies and got quotes ranging from $1800-$3000. I then got a call from Pink Transfer and they told me that to move that small amount of furniture it would be anywhere between $10-$12,000!!!!! WHAT?!! After he basically threw out this random quote over the phone I told him he was absolutely out range from any other quote that I got and completely out of his mind if he thought I would go for something so ridiculous and then he hung up on me. I hate moving. Loathe it. Despise it. Absolutely resent it. It's especially lovely to move in 90 degree weather while a pandemic lingers on. Pink Transfer was a bright, shiny light at the end of a God-awful moving ordeal. Hiring them was like finding an oasis in the middle of the Sahara Desert. Steve and his terrific crew of Virgil and Yousef showed up on a Friday morning. They were right on time. All were super friendly from the get-go. The month-long scowl that I had on my face from the hellishness of packing nearly 100 boxes quickly evaporated when I encountered their cheery demeanor. And ya know what? Throughout the entire 6 hour ordeal of lugging boxes and furniture up and down stairs, these guys maintained their friendliness and positivity. I was so impressed. They worked steadily, all the while making sure my furniture was nicely wrapped in blankets to prevent damage. Yes, they even treated my cheapo Ikea shelves with lots of TLC. Those shelves got the same treatment as my nice Ethan Allen sofa and chairs. No discrimination there. Everything arrived at their destination safe and sound. Seriously, these guys were a ray of sunshine amidst the stark gloom of moving....which sucks even when there's no pandemic going on. I highly recommend Pink Transfer. Their standards are high. If this is not the gold standard of moving companies, I don't know what else is. Ask for Steve Green and his crew. They are completely awesome. Make sure you generously tip for their excellent service and to supply the guys with plenty of cold bottled water and Gatorade in a cooler. We got pizza for them too. These guys work super hard and are professional as heck, so treat them well! I have used Pink Movers in the past, and recommended them to friends and family. I will NEVER refer them again! My younger sister contracted them to pack her up and move her out of her loft into temporary storage after a water problem requiring restoration, Expensive and a few of the packers not expediently experienced. 7 weeks later, they were contracted to move her from storage back into her renovated loft.. There was an issue with being charged excessive travel time and I was informed that " Doug " was unapologetically condescendingly rude which is distressing. We lost about $5000 worth of items from a computer monitor to 2 Hermès scarves the orange boxes remained, the scarves were gone. We contracted Pink for a move from Echo Park to Alhambra in 2014. I neglected to leave a negative review at the time, but seeing that someone else had a similar experience has led me to reconsider. The two man crew dropped an antique banker's desk on the stairs, destroying it, gouged the sides of an art deco cabinet with a hand truck after neglecting to use a blanket to protect it and knocked the moulding off a 19th. century French cabinet. I called Pink to process an insurance claim to cover the damage. One of the owners convinced me to let him try and repair the damage himself. I agreed to give him a shot, but he failed to call back and schedule an appointment. I made three follow up calls and was told each time that he was out of the office and would get back to us. After nearly 8 years of living in Pasadena, it was time for me to move on. And boy had I accumulated a lot of junk during that time! I was at a loss at first for how I was going to accomplish a move to Orange County. Who would pull me out of this confusion and set me straight? Pinks. My parents had used Pinks for each of their previous moves and loved them. If they could handle their 6 bedroom house, then surely they could handle my 820sq. ft. apartment. And handle it they did. The workers showed up at 730am on the dot and immediately began hauling furniture and boxes to the moving truck. I sat back and sipped my iced coffee and watched them move it all. In retrospect, I should've had a book on hand to sit and read bc my incessant chatter to them probably distracted them a little. 3 hours later, they'd moved every stick of furniture and every last box and were en route to my new apartment. Another hour and a half later, I was 100% moved in. Not a stick of furniture got scratched, nothing was lost or damaged (no matter how many fragile items I'd forgotten to wrap in bubble wrap!) To be fair, while it is a little on the pricy end, it was worth every single penny. I would DEFINITELY use this company again. I just can't rave enough about how easy this move was for me (despite my high anxiety about it all.) Easy breezy. If you can afford them, I definitely recommend using Pink's as a mover. Disappointed. Pink charged us over $3700 to move us from Oxnard Beach to Carlsbad. After unloading and after the movers were long gone, we found scratches in the finishes of our bedroom set and damage on a leather chair. Yes, we purchased insurance from them, but it comes with a large deductible. After paying $3700, we don't think it worth paying more money. Contacted Pink and they said someone would call us back. No one has. I'm not sure why my damaged items weren't wrapped to prevent this type of problem. Not a good experience. 1/15/19. Receiving your canned response to my issues two plus years after my complaint, speaks volumes about your interest in providing decent customer service. read more

Two told me that my house would require two trucks (my house was two large for them). The third told me they could get me out by deadline and later reneged before they came to my house to firm up their quote. And they recommended Pinks. Pinks was very professional. They tentatively booked my move date and reserved a rig . Further they were able to give me a price range on the phone. The estimator came right on time. I showed him what needed to be moved. Received the final bid price two hours later. Price was acceptable and finalized the deal. The movers came on time. They were friendly, professional and accommodating. Two things that really stood out: one gentleman on the crew found some valuable jewelry of mine that had fallen out of a cabinet, and promptly found my husband to give it to him. I thought I was beating the summer rush by arranging our out of state move 2 months in advance. Brandon was very easy to work with, very thorough, and got my quote to me quickly. I had decided on Pink Transfer but by the time I received my various quotes (note; other companies were not as prompt with this) , they no longer had my dates available. My fault, live and learn. I ended up with a large national company that was very knowledgeable but very slow to communicate. Then one week before our move, I received the email that our mover had been injured on another job and they could no longer help us. One week before I was to move my family of 6 plus a puppy out of a largely unpacked home so the new owners could take possession. I was nauseous. The next morning I tearfully called Pink just looking for advice. Reputable Pod storage or other local companies maybe? I was at a loss. Jeff answered even though I called 10 minutes before the office opened. He was not only so kind to the sniffling lady on the phone, but quickly got to work on solving the problem. They would move my things into their storage facility and deliver them when the long haul trucks and crew became available. He even called another company to see if they could help deliver sooner. Salvation before 8 in the morning! Steve and his crew were oversaw the packing up of my home in what I considered record time. He also delivered my things a few weeks later. We are currently renting a furnished home and therefor my things are being kept in the garage. He arranged everything so neatly with aisles so that I can easily access items I may need. As a bonus the crew was the most pleasant group of guys! This has honestly been the best customer service experience I have ever had. This family not only knows what they are doing but they do it with pride and kindness. My wife and I recently moved from Pasadena, CA to Portland, OR. Brandon Pink took us every step of the way, assessing all that we wanted moved from our 3 bedroom house and front and back yard garden areas, with some going to our apartment in Portland and the majority to a storage facility. Brandon assured us that the move would take approximately 3-4 days. When we finally had the exact date of our move, there was a bit of confusion as to how long the movers would take to transport everything to Portland. We went to Pink headquarters and spoke to Brandon and he assured us he would arrange with his drivers to have the move done within the time frame promised. He called a few hours later to let us know everything was set for a Tuesday AM pickup. The movers arrived on time and coordinated everything that was going to our apartment and to storage. They had a tool for dismantling everything. The truck was loaded timely and carefully, with everything protected against damage. The truck arrived at our apartment promptly on Friday morning as promised. As with the loading, the unloading, including assembling fixtures, was done timely and carefully.
