I was called a couple days before I was supposed to get the truck and was told that the corporate office lost the registration (not my fault and also unacceptable). I was notified that I would be the first to use the truck when it became available. I waited and waited and checked in month or 2 later and was told it wasn't ready for use. Eventually, I was called and notified it was ready but 2-3 weeks out. So much for being the first. When I asked Andy (he's not the problem) what they would do about this he said there's nothing that can be done because this is a "bonus" for renting there. I said it's not my fault this happened and that I would not have chosen them had it not included a truck. I canceled my unit which I had paid 2-3 months for all while being empty. At least a month free or something would have made the situation better but nothing. I'll never store here again and will tell anyone I know not to. They need some business management and customer service classes. Also, this is borderline false advertisement. They advertised something that was available not a "bonus". Joke.

They were very knowledgeable and patient with me and there answers and responses to my questions were very well put together and they maid me feel like I was a valued person instead of just some problem or someone walking in and bothering them which unfortunately in most cases that's how most people treat customers these days and that is sad that a lot of customer service jobs that how we are being treated these day. But not hear and not with these two I highly recommend this place great service great people and a very positive environment which you will notice as soon as you walk in the door. So thank you Nelson and Aaron for the great service I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know oh and to top it off they always have great deals hear you always get a great value when getting a storage unit hear. 5 Stars across the bored for this place keep up the great work Guy.     UPDATE: Today is Tuesday July 7th and absolutely nothing…read morehas changed with the water/ flooding in Aisle 10. I drove from the valley to Westlake Village yesterday for the 4rth time since July 2nd. There was actually more water in the aisle than any day since I first discovered the flooding. Now the water is pooling into unit 2011, directly in front of my unit. There's a giant trash can with water and rags like before, in the aisle - and water all around the trash can?! There are buckets above the units - and you can hear the water dripping into them and see it dripping into the trash can. I went to the rental office - again - and went off on poor Jacob. I told him I know it's not his fault but that I don't understand how the issue has still not been addressed - it's been 5 days??? This isn't some mom and pop storage facility - it's a giant corporation/chain all over the U.S. Shouldn't they be prepared for these types of situations? I got the district manager's number and yet another corporate number to call. Today, Tim, the district manager told me that the flooding hasn't been addressed because the vendors they use can't come out until the 10th of July. THE 10TH OF JULY. That's 3 days from today and I found out by literally stumbling upon the water in the aisle on July 2nd. THIS IS INSANE. Then I call corporate - again. Last week the guy at "corporate" (some poor Indian guy I could barely understand) told me he was so sorry, he was escalating the "ticket", getting in touch with his supervisor, I would be hearing from a property manager shortly, blahblahblah. I haven't heard a word from anyone. The guy today: same deal, can't understand him very well, he's super sorry, he's escalating the "ticket" and when I suggest they offer the people in Aisle 10 a refund for this month, he tells me he just discovered a discount I can have for the next month - $485 instead of the B.S. $621 I'm paying now. I tell him I want a refund because I'm planning on moving out of Public Storage as soon as I can. I ask if there is anyone above him I can speak with, he tells me yes, then hangs up on me! This just keeps getting more and more maddening. Ill try to post the photos and videos I have so far, technology is not my forté, and I've got a migraine from hell at this point. ANYONE IN AISLE 10 AT THIS LOCATION - CHECK YOUR UNITS, MAKE SOME NOISE!

Kevin as the location manager cares about the facility and taking care of customers and so the company and location and its customers are very fortunate to have someone who cares and has excellent customer service, I've had several nice conversations with him. I also had the fortune of having a conversation with Vance from another location and helping out Camarillo wirh its staffing needs, he was very nice and very helpful with information and so on .     The management of this place is absolutely terrible and unhelpful when issues arise. Don't trust…read moreanyone here or from the company even a little bit. Initially, everything seemed great. The security was decent, there was plenty of space, and the temperature was controlled to a comfortable level. It was worth the slight premium. It was a bit annoying that access wasn't 24/7 considering how much we paid, but I could overlook that. Then, prices started increasing every few months. I understand that the entire industry does this, but it seemed excessive. Then, they began construction on the second floor. The noise, dust, and inconvenience were bothersome, and there was no compensation. Thankfully, I wasn't forced to move on my own dime like others. One day, I came to start unpacking and noticed a section of our belongings that had water damage. Initially, I thought it was caused by a leaking pipe, but upon closer inspection, water was flowing down from the second floor, rolling along the I beams and dripping onto our stuff for who knows how long and how much. All attempts to resolve the issue ended with the company stating that since I didn't use their insurance, they couldn't offer any compensation, replacement, or rental refund. This seems unreasonable and goes beyond the terms of the contract that absolves them from liability. Either the roof, second floor, or both were not properly constructed, allowing water to flow along the I beams. You can see rusted water drop marks on multiple I beams. These beams are completely exposed and there's nothing installed to protect the storage units from water or debris from the second floor. Since they were aware of the issue from the review I mentioned earlier and didn't take any action, it appears to be gross negligence. I also highly doubt that they would even consider addressing the real issue and refunding partial rent if we had their insurance. Regardless of whether we have insurance or not, the website guaranteed dryness and a storage satisfaction guarantee. If you decide to stay here, make it a short stay, cover your belongings completely, and request a different unit if you have any beams or pipes above your unit. And pray that nothing else goes wrong.
