After doing some checking on yelp and google reviews, I came across Albo moving. Their reviews were really good, and they were close to my parent's house where I was living at the time. I reached out via cell and Alex responded the same day asking for more info. I texted it all to him. The next day he emailed me a quote and laid out all the info. The pricing was very fair, and based on his quick response time and great reviews, I decided to hire them. I am very glad that I did. My move went extremely well. I hired 2 movers and a 20-foot truck. Eugene and Serg were great. They clearly communicated their arrival time and kept me updated via text. There were 2 pick up locations - my storage unit and my parent's house. They had everything from storage wrapped and packed into the truck in 2 hours. Then we went to my parents for a few more things, we were out of there in under an hour. They drove to Jersey City and then had the entire truck unpacked and moved in and all the packing material cleaned up in 3 hours. It was an extremely hot day and the guys worked really hard and very quickly. I could not be more grateful to Alex and his team for the excellent job, and I would definitely hire them again for my next move. We move fairly frequently. We had a great experience with our last moving company, but couldn't…read moreremember the name. After seeing such great reviews online we decided to book with pick and pack. This was easily the worst, most expensive, and most frustrating move I've ever experienced. We moved out of our 2-bed, 2-bath apartment on Sunday, August 2nd. We've moved this exact same furniture multiple times over the last five years, moved that were much farther away and with multiple stops. (I'm talking two stops over 40 minutes away plus a new apartment 40 minutes away from that, walk up to walk up). This move was one apartment with a walk up to a new apartment with an elevator 20 minutes apart. lt has never cost this much or gone this badly.They estimated $1,600-$1,800 for 6-7 hours which was similar to our last moves, but the final bill came out to a whopping $2,200, $2,500 with tip. That's $500-$700 more than far more complicated moves we've done in the past. The crew moved much slower than previous movers I have experienced. They kept disappearing for 15 minutes at a time, and they actually charged us for their lunch break, which is standard, except they were gone over an hour and there was only 20 minutes of travel time.The lack of respect for our things was unbelievable. They completely cracked my antique bar cart handles and wheel, cracked one of our lamps, and my dog's crate. Worst of all, my jewelry armoire was locked prior to our move but must have been pried open because the lock is completely broken and bent now. I haven't even finished unpacking yet and I'm terrified of what else I'm going to find ruined.On top of the damage, they literally left multiple pieces of furniture behind at our old place. They claimed some pieces couldn't be moved safely, which is a total lie because previous movers handled them just fine (Again, for less money and less time EVEN PACKING THEM FOR US) . Other items they just abandoned without saying a word. (there were things we had them leave, these were things they were absolutely supposed to take). They also promised they would arrange my living room furniture they had to move due to space to back where I wanted it at the end of the day, but after taking all day, they just left without doing it. They also did an awful job putting our furniture back together creating even more work for us It is incredibly fishy how this place has so many good reviews online. Now I know why: they make you fill out a survey right before they leave, before you even have a second to look around and notice that your stuff is broken or missing. Again these piece have all been moved multiple times by different movers (all good experiences) with no damage.

Round does sit in his moving sprinter on SOCIAL MEDIA (FACEBOOK) while he has some of his GERIATICS movers to do the actual move and no actual moving truck as he states prior to the move. He came 2 days to do the move because he does not have a moving truck as expected . A sprinter and a small van but the first day was a complete debacle when they had an accident on the property the day they were doing the move. So that day now we are down to one vehicle a which took a few hours before that move got started. Moving past that one senior citizen dude out of his crew of movers and they dropped and broke my 70 inch TV and two of my sofa chairs. The movers did the best they actually could without much directions from Round who was busy on SOCIAL media. He left them to destroy my furniture and he did not replace any of it. He claims he has security for moving but never repaid for any of my furniture that was destroy by his crew he brought to do my move. The move went into 2 days and still everything was not moved. He is not a honorable business, he seems to break TV's in all of his moves. However, he was paid in full over $2000 and this was the WORSE moving company ever. He is not a person who takes ACCOUNTABILITY for his errors and especially being a mover but does not intent to pay for things his company breaks. Also I made sure I was that he an his crew had waters and ice teas to drink during this horrible experience of this move. They left all the bottles on the grounds as if they have no type of respect for peoples property. I had to clean it up because It was disgusting to see they left it on the ground. I never saw this experience of Round being not a truthful person until he never paid me as he promise to for my damage TV and sofa's. He was the WORSE referral I ever had, he was deceiving and I DEFINITELY feel taken advantage of in this move. Hopefully he will LEARN a lesson an how to do better services when it comes to moving people's furniture with care not CARLESSNESS as he did in my move. Loren is highly reliable and was even willing to add stops to the day to make thing easier for us. I can't recommend these guys enough!
