I had an extremely disappointing experience with this storage facility before I even set foot on the property. I rented a unit online on a Sunday, completed the lease, and uploaded my driver's license--just as required. The next day, I called to get more information, and the person I spoke to (relief manager Jackie) was immediately rude and dismissive, as if I was bothering her. I explained that I live over an hour and a half away and that the office hours don't work with my job schedule, so I wouldn't be able to come in before moving my items. I asked if I could move in Monday and stop by the office on Saturday when I was finished. Instead of trying to help or offer a solution, Jackie raised her voice, got condescending, and told me I was "more than welcome to go somewhere else closer to where I live." I was shocked. This is a storage facility--people often move from out of town. Her tone and attitude were completely uncalled for and unprofessional. The next day, the manager called me, equally snarky, and told me they had reviewed the call and decided to cancel my rental and refund my money since "it just doesn't work for you." No attempt to resolve, no apology, just a very smug, condescending tone as if I was the problem for simply asking a basic question and needing flexibility. When I asked for the manager's name and the regional or corporate contact info, she refused and then hung up on me. I called another nearby location just to try to get the regional manager's contact info, and was told they'd pass along my message. I never heard back. This location clearly does not care about customer service or doing what's right. The staff are rude, unprofessional, and make it very clear they pick and choose who they want renting at their facility based on personal attitude--not policies or procedures. They will hang up on you, talk down to you, and dodge accountability if you try to escalate the issue. If this is how they treat someone before they've even moved in, imagine how they handle real problems once your stuff is inside. I cannot recommend this facility to anyone. If you care about professionalism, safety, or being treated with basic human respect, rent somewhere else. read more

We have used several storage facilities in our lifetime, Extra Storage in Wildomar is one of the best. Friendly, accommodating, goes the extra mile in explaining the contract and space usage. Happy storage folks. read more

So after posting my review, I received these messages from the manager. After telling me he couldn't refund me, he bribed me that he would refund me if I removed the bad Yelp review. I will admit that I considered it but then realized I couldn't do it. It's the principal...this business is shady. I'm considering contacting the BBB. read more

Don't pay cash every month because they'll come up rate increases that are made up in order to skim your cash. They told me my rate increased to $89 where it was $50 a month. I started paying with checks and the increase went away. Then on checkout they price gouge me and charge me that 89 rate and charge me another 9 dollars for insurance I don't need or even use since my property is no longer there. There is no lighting in the unit and it is dark and dangerous at night. The staff is not friendly; they treat you like a trespassers and have fees for anything you could imagine. They charged me a cleaning fee upon renting the unit in case it was abandoned and they had to clean it. I cleaned and swept the unit and they pretend there was no cleaning fee deposited. This facility was ok until it came time to terminate the lease. I emptied my storage in November prior to Thanksgiving. They called me at the end of December wanting December payment and January ( 2 months after the termination. Not going to happen. I agreed to pay December's even in light of there error and a cleaning fee which there was a few empty boxes and I believe a garden hose which could go in there dumpster in 5 minutes. Andrew threatened to charge me for January if payment wasn't made at 7 pm eastern standard tome here in Ga. I told him it would have to be the next day as I would go and get a prepaid debit card from Walmart as I don't give any of my credit card information on line EVER.. this wasn't expectable even know the payment was to be completed on the 31 of December.. I created an account online today and then was blocked from making the payment with the prepaid card. If they attempt to process this onto my credit they will be sued..Trying to squeeze every penny there not owed.. What can I say about this place. There is a crazy lady that works here, Leila. If you are late she hounds you. She does save me money and when I am late its great to get a call before I get a late charge. I always get a wave and hello. I want to say the other guy is Hector, great guy and willing to help. For personal service or info around town they are always willing to give up the 411. Although I just moved out they greeted me warmly when I had to move my business, to a smaller place, and was in need, way back in 2012. Thanks for the fun, the memories and the lock. read more

We just rented a storage unit here and the owner John is very nice. Clean facility. Did not that long to register and the monthly rates are great. The bast part is the owner lives on the property which makes me feel that my stuff is that much more secure. I would recommend this facility to anyone of my friends or family members. DONT EVER STORE YOUR STUFF HERE!!!! I finally got around to writing a review about this terrible facility . this place is a joke to say the least from the management to the facility to the quality of the units. Its cheaper price is what attracts most people and it sure did me as well . On NOV. 4th my unit was broken into at this facility. The way the thieves got in was by pulling down a wall not by cars or some type of vehicle to pull the wall down but by hand (showing how the grounds are not kept up to standard) when the police came to do their write up they informed me that there was only once camera of the gate filming at the time of the incident . when they advertise they have 24hr surveillance of the grounds at all time (lie #1). They also advertise and the old manager john said they had individual door alarms when in fact there is no such device on any of the units (lie #2). And lastly the manager and his wife live on the grounds of this facility and the night that my unit was broken into they heard absolutely nothing even those the thieves had to pound, bash, and cut away at my uncutable locks till the rivets in the actual door gave away first. Needless to say don't store your stuff here I don't want anyone to go through the same pain and frustration I did. This place is a joke and just not worth the time.
