On standby- plenty of electric powered karts, virtual reality experience and racing sims suited for any age. Better to book exclusively so everyone can enjoy the actual kart racing. But on any given day, you may have to wait your turn as other groups go ahead and finish driving around the track. We were told that each race is 6 long. In reality, the safety orientation/instruction before the race takes longer than driving around the tracks. Then more time is spent on putting the helmet, neck pads and what number is your kart. There was no music to set up the mood. One can sense the strong distinct smell of rubber tires. It made me nauseous. High chairs and cocktail tables are meant for the racers in waiting, while the rest is meant for the guests to sit down, have a snack or chat. Refreshments and meals are available to order. Can you bring your own cake? It seems not to be not a problem for one group that came in today with a cake box and balloons. If you want to try out VR games, it's best time to experience it here together because they can accommodate 4 players at a time. Racing sims has its own space. If I'm not mistaken, there was an employee that resembles a bouncer in a club - that checks who comes in and out of the dark room. Large tv screen, seats that move and actual size steering wheels - no helmets needed. We knew this park had been here for years and today was the first time for us to finally come inside and figure out what's happening. In my observation, the kart tracks would have been bigger and longer, music and sounds related to races would have been perfect. The sound system could have been better if I understood what the guys were announcing - the speaker was inaudible. The new owners couldn't have screwed it up more. They could have torched the place and it would be in better shape. This location is dear to my heart. I adore the track. I even brought my wife here on our first date. That magic is dead. I brought my brother here the other day to show him how wonderful it is and a single race was like $40. Are you completely out of your minds!? A race used to be $15 and THAT was steep. I bought a membership every year to keep that few bucks off. The cradle has fallen. What a shame. If you think you're gonna keep the doors open charging that much for a race, you should probably just have a pawn shop where you can rip people off without all the overhead. read more

So you're telling me the "two hours of adrenaline" is 24 minutes of actually doing something and the remaining hour and thirty six minutes are non existent. I love this place the staff the owners are amazing. I don't care what any of these other reviews say mine is the most important this place is crucial for having fun and teaching kids how to race. I am the fastest racer in the state I dare anyone to challenge me bring on the competition and I know talk is cheap but I will prove it bring it on. Let me know. One of the best go kart racing for the younger teens with pro style track and karts.. well this is the only one around. The karts are all electric, quite ride and fast. They have karts that go upto max of 40mph but for kids 14 and under, they limit it to 20 mph. 55 bucks for 2 hours. "Adrenaline pass" ... That's about 3-5 heats depending on how busy they are.. definitely recommend making an reservation before heading here. They have some Virtual reality and simulators on site.. did not try them. We had a small group of 8 kids and we did 4 heats. Was fun.. the place is clean.. karts are mostly well maintained. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They do provide helmets, neck protection and head socks / skull masks, but they are reused.. would recommend bringing your own. Amazon has them for super cheap. Suggestion for the business.. they could sell them for couple of bucks. read more

This place is a joke and a scam! You pay for 2 races (have to pay for membership, which gets you nothing), staff has no idea what they are doing. We waited more than 90 minutes between races. Was called to race, and get there, or no "sorry we had a mix up"! You races are now another 12 minutes wait....1:47 minutes apart. Staff tells you to take advantage of all the other activities....4 virtual reality headsets and 6 racing car simulators, 1 of which isn't working. What they don't tell you is that you have to share these "other amenities" with 40 other people who are also waiting on their next races. For the amount of money you spend on this, it is not worth the substandard treatment or the BS that you have to go through. Absolute disaster of a facility - stay away and spend your money for entertainment, not watching other people race around a 23 second track. If I could have left 0 stars I would have. read more

I went with a large group we had paid upfront for 24 people we ended up only having 15 people but they still required us to pay for 24 but would not allow us to have extra track time to cover the 24 spots. Also every session out on the track two carts could not finish the sessions due to mechanical failures. So even though we paid for a grand prix style race the qualifying times were all messed up due to mechanical failures. So of course at the final race all of us in messed up spots and then again two of the carts didn't make it. read more

Horrible. Waste of money, understaffed and below mediocre. We had a 2 hour reservation and only got to race twice around the much smaller than expected track. Had to complain to the management about the wait times for them to give us extra time to try the VR games and the racing simulation once. We ended up getting one ticket refunded (on a gift card, because no refunds all sales are final) there is no food here. No hot food, and a candybar and a bottle of coke was $9. Not worth the money. You should just go to Cj Barrymores, Dave and Busters, he'll even Chuckie Cheese. read more

Staff is friendly, manager is incredibly nice, track marshals don't know what the fuck they're doing half the time. you need more than two people to enforce rules of safety because the rules they make they don't even enforce, they don't enforce penalties either. Track itself is fun but the karts are hit or miss. CJ Barrymores has a better fleet of karts. Very talented drivers there but they're stunted by the karts they give you sad to see there's no actual racing unless you're racing evenly matched karts (which there are very few of) food is pretty good other than the pizza and the hospitality is great, but still. has potential but the karts are only maintained to drive around, not race. i have spent over a grand at this track alone over the past quite a few months, and have to say it's fun with the fast karts, but if you have an unlucky kart you might as well walk around circuit it's so slow. a stock suzuki cappuccino has better performance than some of these karts. long story short is there's potential for the track if it had evenly matched karts. you have like four karts that are like le mans hyper cars racing the le mans gt3 protos. not a place for racers unless you like racing with luck and not skill. i don't think i will ever go again especially with leagues until they get a dedicated league fleet. it's like racing a Haas formula one car. you're at the back and no matter how much skill you have, you have no chance at a good position. really wish i had a better experience beings i've put a lot of time and money into this place. read more

We were determined to have fun and we did. It was super quiet and lots of sitting around waiting to race. The employees were super quiet, not explaining much. We did get 3 races for our 2 hour pass. All the reviews are accurate. Four vr sets and 5 sim cars are not enough for the number of people there. VR had 2 sets w no sound, 1 sim was broken, another sim had steering wheel issues. I paid for 2 hours of go-karting fun and instead got one hour. I'm not sure if this woman was a time wizard but she told me I was wrong. could it have been daylight savings? nope I just lost an hour to the woman with piercings and an attitude. my group reserved a specific time in person and when we got there on that time they said we were an hour late. abysmal. When we confronted the staff with our issue, they essentially spit in our face and told us to fuck off. well I spit in the face of all that is go-karting. The manager was definitely adrenaline pumped considering she felt the need to yell at kids regarding their driving style and spill curse words toward them all over the track. This day drifted away from me like the cart i was in. I was told to arrive at 11:30 for my adrenaline pass which is 2 hours of go karting and vr playing. Upon arriving after scheduling in store a week before we were told we were 30 minutes late and didn't start racing till 12 due to the workers not feeling the need to help us promptly, after only being allowed on track for an hour, 3 races were completed. The manager said that's a normal amount of races for a 2 hour time slot. The math isn't adding up, if the pass is 2 hours and in only an hour my group completed 3 races we should of had a total of 6. Thus we were robbed of 3 races in the other hour which was taken up due to slow costumer service and false information as to the start time of our passes. The manager sporting a bull ring piercing and a flaming attitude had no time to listen to our complaints and after speaking with us briefly stormed out the establishment to smoke in her car and do what I can only guess is mumble to herself about how much she hates people. It's a great deal but considering the other elements of this sad excuse for a race track and a good time, I will not be returning. Fountain walk has many more stores and things to do, don't waster your time or your money, you'll be left feeling like a broke college student who's lost all his dignity by joining a frat. read more

I never felt obligated to take the time to do so. My experience was terrible. We we're ignored and given short (unhelpful) responses multiple times by the heavier set lady at the counter. We had reservations at 8 and arrived early as instructed then sat around for an hour (after filling out the applications bc the lady at the counter nodded towards the computers then told us to go sit down) and still haven't been helped. I understand being short staffed or having malfunctions but it doesn't explain being rude, temperamental, or short. We would've left and had a great night. read more

Thank you Full Throttle for ruining my family's day! For the absurd price we had to pay to come here, you'd expect at the very minimum we'd be able to race. Not so fast... After being met with rudeness and incompetence, we were told the staff had overbooked the time slot and we would not be able to race. Even after it was clear us and a few other groups would not be able to race, the staff kept accepting new in-person sign-ups. All the while we were waiting with no explanation of the delay.
