I was sad when the recent E Pizza closed in D town Walnut Creek. I was running errands at a nearby Grocery store in Wc and was ecstatic to find out they finally opened this Extreme Pizza near my gym. I am a fan of their pizza and also their Club Carver sandwiches. Cookies aren't that bad either if you have a sweet tooth. Counter people are nice and they had my Club Carver sandwich ready quickly. They also had a few beers on draft and you can also grab a few cans to go. Soda fridge is also available with teas, sodas in bottle form. Extreme Pizza WC recently moved to a space near Sprouts on Geary, and while I'd seen it for years in dwtn WC, I'd never tried it before until now. I think this pizza would really really please most people. They have many options for Gourmet Signature pies with a huge variety of toppings. I opted to Create My Own rather than order a Signature pie and ask for things to be added/left off. I started from a Classic Cheese, which has Signature tomato sauce, mozzarella, and a little cheddar. I should have asked to hold the cheddar, but I'd never tried it on pizza before, so I gave it a shot. Unfortunately it's not my thing. My toppings of choice were: fresh mushrooms, spinach, roasted red peppers, black olives, and vine ripe tomatoes. They put *a lot* of each of these toppings on the pizza, which I should have expected based on the name of the place, but I did not. It appeared they put the same amount of each requested topping that they'd put if I'd only ordered one of those toppings. And I think this would make most people super happy because you are definitely getting what you pay for! I'd prefer my chosen toppings "evened out," like distributed over 5 toppings, rather than 5 times that amount. Does that make sense? Anyway, I'm sure I'm the only person that feels this way, because who doesn't want to get bang for your buck, and I commend Extreme Pizza for delivering the goods. Sometime I will return here and have just a plain cheese pizza, hold the cheddar, then I will really be able to assess the sauce and the crust, which are the basis of any great pizza. read more

Manny and Sashi are super welcoming and caused me to continue to come back. Coming here is a welcoming unique experience as Xtreme pizza offers out of the ordinary options in the best way possible! They make the pizzas fresh and fast with amazing results. They also serve beer on tap or in can. The ambiance is very nice, very roomy, good temperature with good music that isnt too loud or unbearable. They crust was so delicious and soft yet crunchy, not soggy at all with all the mountain of toppings they give you! Usually we prefer mor meat centric with several veggie types of pizzas but the Drag it Through the Garden was the best out of all of them. It was jam packed with all the wonderful textures, freshness and FLAVOR! I'm sure it fills up during the evening, but we were looking for something super chill and casual so this was perfect. We ordered at the front by the register and got our food within 10-15 minutes. We tried the: - Railroad Grade Pizza - Yard Sale Pizza - Screamin' Tomato Pizza: A variant of margherita pizza. Was good, came with a side bottle of balsamic vinegar sauce/glaze which was a nice addition! - Fresh Tracks salad: a little underwhelming but who goes to a pizza spot to eat salad? (cough, me) - Buffalo wings: A little on the drier side both sauce-wise and meat-wise but my boyfriend and his family enjoyed them a lot. I personally prefer my wings super messy and dripping with buffalo sauce but my boyfriend likes his wings more dry so he was happy. We all enjoyed the pizza and wings and salad, and left very full. I remember when Dave the owner was sent to my store on Shattuck Ave Berkeley for training as a new franchisee for Extreme. At the time I noticed how attentive and open to learning the process that Dave had. Now years later looking at how well he is doing with his business as tough as it is to run a restaurant I am more than happy with his success. VEGAN REVIEW: In the times of covid..... ordering over the phone was easy and there are many great vegan options at all of the EPs. There's a small metered lot behind this one for relatively easy pick ups. My only gripe was they forgot my order so when I came to pick up my pizzas 40 min after I called it in, they weren't even made. I had to wait another 20 for them to whip the pizzas up. I usually spend a good 30-45 min researching and reading reviews and sadly chose this place. Extreme pizza is an absolute waste of money. To start, we ordered (2) 14" pizzas. one vegan style with 4-5 veg and no cheese and one pepperoni, mushroom, black olive and a half dozen of vegan wings. Price total after delivery and a 15$ tip, 120$! That is absolute insanity. That's 40$ per pizza and 10$ for wings!! Now the food quality... bleh.. pizza crust was soft and underbaked, WAY too much cheese to the point you wanted to gag from the texture. Tons of excess flour on the bottom. Yes, I am aware of the pineapple-on-pizza controversy. I remembered Extreme Pizza on Cypress in Walnut Creek had a Paia Pie with Canadian bacon, pineapple, and Mandarin oranges. Yes, Mandarin oranges! So I ordered an indie pie and their Flying High Thai Chicken Salad. The pie was good and satisfied my pineapple craving, but the show's real star for me was the Thai salad. It was bursting with flavor, and the generous portion of chicken was so moist and delicious! I think the salad was a great deal at just $11.95. It was so good that I returned yesterday for another. I met the owner Dave, who is a super nice guy. He's a big supporter of the local schools and community; he's a winner in my book! Extreme pizza is much larger than I imagined. There are quite a few tables inside and a lovely beer garden behind the restaurant. There is also a parking lot behind the building. In addition to their pizzas and salads, they also have calzones, wings, subs, and desserts. Next time I want to try a chicken parmesan or meatball sub. Extreme also has vegan, gluten-free, cauliflower crust options, vegan cheese, plant-based proteins, and a cheeseless pie. I ordered the veggie pizza and he meat pizza. The flavors of the veggie pizza didn't really go together but it was okay. The meat pizza was the best. The crust was very undercooked in my opinion. We stopped by here because we had to wait 45 minutes for my Apple store appointment and the service was fast and friendly. There is a check in table outside and menu on the table and you order outside and you can sit right outside as well. They have two benches/tables for customers to eat at. They have sanitizer available for customers to use and even have a tv outside to keep you entertained. Nice establishment and clean outside and they even have a lunch menu as well. read more

Restaurant is fun for a get together with friends - not huge but lively with its own little parking lot in the back ... the staff and I think the owner-manager is very customer focused and service is excellent. The pizza is not so great, I know it's a chain so they follow a formula but it's pretty middling pizza for WC ... now they offer a lot of their own speciality pizzas but if you just customize it, it's not much to speak of. So, nice place, great service but pizza is just acceptable. read more

They're really tapping into a gold mine by staying open so late, given that the prices are doubled for what you would pay for a normal slice of pizza at another pizza spot. I payed little over $15 for 2 specialty slices. The flavor of the pizza was good, there was plenty of protien in the meat lovers and the plenty of cheese. The crust is too thin for my liking but that's the way they do it. The guy the was super fast and taking orders and making pizza but it still took about 15-20 min.
