Love this place. Had lunch with my grandpa here the other week and got the meat raviolis with a bolognese, delicious. Even better the next day! Great service and quick on the refills. Ok ok ok... I usually don't do this but I am writing right after I visit the restaurant. The minute you walk in you feel like it's a neighborhood establishment. Like everyone knows each other and they all hang out with each other during all the games. We were first seated at a booth but we were able to find a couple seats at the bar. The bartender, we never got her name but she makes a killer drink and pours a great beer. The minute we walked in we saw an amazing pizza. So we ordered a pizza.. duh. We ordered a pizza and it didn't come out right but whatever. It was awesome! They took care of a discount on it but hr w flavor just didn't hit! Still ok. Anyways, the place is awesome for a Friday night and getting a pizza. The full bar really makes it! The reason, because it makes everyone so happy. The food at DeVinos Pizza and Pasta was excellent. It had large portions and was served hot. The waiter was kind and always asking us if we needed anything. The atmosphere is homey and pleasant to be in. They have many large tv's also so we watched the baseball game too. I will tell all my friends and family to eat here. The price was great also. Much better pizza than Round Table (which has deteriorated substantially over past 2 years), Melo's (which provided a horrible crust), and Zayn's (which had very skimpy toppings). This place has one of my favorite pizzas, In The Mood. Sometimes it ca be cooked with too many toppings which makes for a floppy pizza, but that seems to be an issue more with the combo pizza. Their pasta is also delicious when me and my partner want different pastas for dinner. The inside is great too, very family friendly and has a full bar with sports on the TVs. Food: so, I ordered their Fettuccine and Prawns (Prawns with Broccoli, Garlic, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Shallots, in White Wine Cream Sauce with Butter, over fresh Egg Fettuccini). I loved this dish. The highlight was definitely the fresh egg fettuccine noodles, which were chewy and bouncy. I also really enjoyed the white wine cream sauce with prominent garlic flavor. I appreciate it the amount of broccoli that they put in this dish, to really balance out the heaviness from the cream sauce and the carbs. The sun-dried tomatoes added tanginess and a different texture to each bite. Last but not least, the prawns were beautifully grilled and flavorful. I would get this dish again. Price was $21 as of September 2024. For dessert, we got the Lemon Italian Cream Cake. It was a Devonshire's Tangy Sweet Lemon Italian Cake topped off With Powder Sugar and decorated with whipped cream. I loved the lightness of this cake. Love this place. Been coming here since I was a kid and the building was 1/2 the size it is now. Hands down the best pizza in the east bay! We always get the pepperoni pizza and family salad with house Italian dressing. The dressing is amazing, I wish they sold it! The lettuce and veggies are always super fresh too. I can't say enough about the service and food tonight. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the shrimp salad and a small "in the mood" pizza. The service was amazing, not only from our waiter great, but the staff who brought us water and who took away the dirty dishes. It was just spot on. I have been searching for good pasta near or around Concord for over 4 years. Finally found one! I ordered their Fettuccine& Prawns and subbed the fettuccine for fusilli. We went to Devices on a gift certificate our Neice & Nephew. We were so pleased with there food and the service was excellent. We now go once a week for dinner I love their pizzas. They also have delicious salads. They are kind of a sport bar, and people seem to enjoy the bar, they meet there all the time. read more

We have been eating at and taking out food from DeVino's over 10 years now. Two times in the last 3 months, we have gotten under baked pizzas when we ordered take out. My husband picked up pasta for himself and a personal veggie pizza for me on Tuesday 9/3/24 at about 6pm. Again it was under baked. I ate two small pieces. Then, I took a third piece and tried to heat it up (and hopefully cook it more) in the toaster oven. Ended up burning it. By then I was so fed up that I threw the rest in the trash. I've lived in Pleasant Hill most of life and whenever going to this the plaza, I've really only gone to Kinder's. I finally checked out this spot recently and it was a worth a try. Delicious food with great prices. My husband and I working our way through the menu trying a different dish every time we order. We' e been looking for a pizza place closer to home & we happened upon DeVino's. What a pleasant surprise! We got seated upon arriving & the place was hopping. Our server did come by, brought water & let us know he would return shortly. Upon his return he took our drink & food orders. For as busy as the place was, it was flowing well. We got our beers, shortly afterwards our salads arrived. The pizza came, pipping hot, with all our topping picks. Overall, it satisfied the pizza craving.
