    Luciano Pavarotti

Went in for lunch on Sunday where we were greeted by two very friendly workers. The place was big and clean with 12 or so tables. There were many amazing looking items in the deli case like pastas and sides. I ordered the Luciano Pavarotti and my friends ordered the Italian Dagwood. Each sandwich was made with freshly sliced meat to order. The sandwiches took about 10 minutes to make, but all good things take time. The first thing we noticed was how large the sandwich was. When we unwrapped them, each sandwich was well proportioned with meat, bread, and trimmings. The star of the show was the Dutch Crunch roll - it was soft and fresh with a little crunch on the outside - just how I like it. And the garlic mayo was perfect for me, but I could see how some might think there was a tad too much. I could have stopped after eating half, but it was too good to risk my wife eating the other half if I took it home. Don't come looking for a restroom at Luigi's or any store in the entire strip mall on a Sunday because you won't find one. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sandwiches and I highly recommend checking this place out. I'll be back.

So disappointing. Luigi's is not long for this world. I've been a customer for 35 years, and it has slid down far downhill I'm afraid this last visit was the last visit. The zombie making my sandwich didn't even include all the ingredients it comes with, much less add the bacon I requested and paid for. It was great while it lasted, old friend. I'll be sad to see you go, but we both know why you no longer have lines at lunch.

Fat juicy tuna sandwich.... Bread was very soft and thick... loved it.... It was a lot of tuna... definitely can share for two people. Appreciate it here. Customer is great. Very quiet in here tho. Needs some music playing

Italian Dagwood without tomatoes or onions

Was out running errands and got hungry on the way home. Yelp'd the closest sandwich shop and Luigi's popped up. It wasn't very busy when I came in, although to their credit it was a Monday at 11am. The food case seemed a little barren and not necessarily fresh, but didn't look bad at all. I had to look over the menu a bit. I'm pretty classic with my sandwich choice - ham and cheese. I saw a prosciutto sandwich that I can't wait to try next time, but settled on the Dagwood. Holy moly this thing is huuuuuuge!! And it was so delicious! My rookie mistake was assume it came with lettuce. I took my sandwich without onions or tomatoes so it was missing a fresh element which was my mistake. The ingredients were listed correctly on the menu. Can't wait to go back. True, the prices are pricey (just like most things these days) but I appreciate the serving! I ate one half for lunch and the other as afternoon snack!

I ordered the Italian Dagwood (4 stars) with no cheese, add lettuce, mustard and pepperoncini and a side of Potato Salad (3 stars) The sandwich was huge, they use a soft loaf of sourdough bread, not a roll. Everything was fresh, good amount of meat, loved the garlic mayo. Awesome sandwich! The potato salad was good, with large chucks of potatoes, maybe too large, I had to crush a few. Also with such large chunks, they need more seasoning as it was a little bland. The potato salad was ok, I'll try something else next time. Until next time...

So sad to have the food quality go downhill so fast. There sandwiches used to be stacked. Now it is 85% bread. I don't think they even put the bacon in my sandwich.. imagine paying fifteen dollars for this...

A great local deli serving the residents of concord for years. A worthy lunch spot that I highly recommend. The specialty sandwiches are great and some very unique combos, we loved the Claire's and The Big Daddy. Try them all!

Two sandwiches, $15 each. Clean, healthy ingredients. The bread was soft and italian salami sandwich was delicious. I can't complain. This is a family owned deli that still around the concord area for many years. They are huge and fulfilling. The garlic alioli makes the sandwich taste better. I definitely should have asked for a side to go. Its located in a deserted parking lot structure ( in my opinion) , but it's still safe to walk back to your car.

I came here for my first time with my mom and the sandwiches aren't heated, but the sandwiches are really good. I just put it in my oven, but I feel like the customer service could've been more better. I didn't feel welcome overall I would come here again. Way better than the other Italian place down the street.

I order through Doordash and this is the best deli in the area. Consistently great sandwiches with a lot of meat.

When I politely asked whether it would be possible to move to one of the open booths, the hostess responded in a rude and aggressive manner. The manager noticed that we seemed unhappy and asked about our experience, which I appreciated. He also appeared to have a talk with the hostess who politely sad goodbye when we left. However, throughout our visit, I observed other parties of the dominant majority being seated in the available booths while we remained at our table despite our request to move. One family even had children jumping around breaking glasses. While those that were similarly identifiable as us were also seated to the side. The food was also disappointing. Our pizza arrived in about five minutes, which made it seem rushed, and unfortunately two members of our party became ill afterward with symptoms consistent with food poisoning. Between the poor customer service, seating experience, and concerns about food quality, I would not return and cannot recommend this restaurant.

I ordered the fried spaghetti as an appetizer, a chicken Caesar salad, the Chicken Marsala for my entrée, and an espresso martini. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server, Brittany, was friendly, personable, and took responsibility when there was a delay in service. I asked for a bowl of water for my dog as soon as we were seated, but it took about 20 minutes before it was brought to the table and our order was taken. She sincerely apologized, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I've experienced similar delays with other servers during previous visits. I also noticed the bartender place coffee beans into an espresso martini using her bare hands. Although I didn't say anything at the time, it made me uncomfortable from a hygiene standpoint. When I ordered another drink, Brittany used a utensil to place the coffee beans into the drink, which I felt was much more appropriate. Overall, the food was outstanding, as always, and that's what keeps me coming back. I hope the restaurant improves its service times and reinforces proper food handling practices so every guest can enjoy the same great dining experience.

Even with the place buzzing, he stayed attentive, efficient, and completely on top of everything without ever making us feel rushed or forgotten. We had a reservation and arrived right on time, made even sweeter by the rare miracle of snagging a parking spot directly out front. The hostess greeted us warmly and confirmed our reservation, but then another hostess -- I assume -- stepped in and instructed her to seat us at table #13(that wasn't the actual # but it may as well have been) The tone alone told me everything I needed to know... and unfortunately, my instincts were right. I have a strong aversion to tables near bathrooms, server stations, or high-traffic areas, and of course this table was planted directly across from the silverware replenishment station. UUGGHHH. Constant movement, clanking silverware, staff traffic not exactly the ambiance I had hoped for. I almost asked for the empty table beside it, but for whatever reason, I let it slide this time. Thankfully, the rest of the evening more than redeemed itself. The Caesar salad was crisp and fresh, the sour dough bread is served hot with soft garlic butter, the chicken piccata was rich, bright, and comforting, and the Mizithra cheese pasta coated in brown butter was pure decadence. Then came the spumoni ice cream , combined pistachio, cherry and chocolate flavors the perfect sweet finale to the meal. A full three-course dinner for $30 that actually tastes this good? Practically unheard of these days. Despite my seating disappointment, the service and food absolutely earned another visit from me. Next time, though, I'll definitely convey my seating preferences.
