The turkey breast sandwich was just ok. I felt it was lacking flavor despite looking absolutely delicious. It also took a while to get my sandwich when no one else was in front of me. I would be willing to try another sandwich, but not what I was expecting.
Amazing as always!! And fast for lunch time! Lucia's uses the best ingredients. The bread is amazing!!! We enjoyed the zatar chicken, the mortadella (only wish they put a pistachio pesto on this one ) and spicy capicola (the fav). The sandwiches are so big that three (cut into fourths) fed 6 people!
They are observing Winter hours on June 17th. Open sign and sign on the curb. Was here three weeks ago same time 3:15 and got a sandwich during the week. Fail.
I think I may have ruined my first experience by coming to this location instead of Crockett. It wasn't busy at all but they didn't start working on my sandwich until about 10 min after ordering. I feel like it took way longer than it should have, no sense of urgency. Also, dude who helped me was kind, but handled cash and didn't sanitize or wash his hands before going back to cutting rib eye meat to reload the stock. This was a turn off. At least the other lady who finished making my sandwich put gloves on! The sandwich was expensive, but the portion matches. Like everyone else says, one is good enough for 2. My bread was sliced unevenly which was annoying. Other than the not washing hands and the uneven bread slices, it was decent. Maybe I go to the Crockett location to try a grilled cheese.
I had been craving a BLT for a couple of days, and this was said to be one of the best places for one. Ok, walking in i was a little suspect because this spot looked like it had just opened its doors for business, very 'brand newish' look and the decor was very simplistic. With that being said, I was hoping the look lived up to the hype of the reviews of the sandwich. I probably hadn't made it a block before I tore into my sandwich. The presentation was delightful to my eyes, but waa missing one ingredient that came standard on the sandwich, avocado. Avocado is what makes it different from your regular BLT sandwiches. Despite that being left off, it was very good. The bread was toasted lightly, with just enough mayo so the bread wouldn't get soggy with the tomatoes. The bacon was crispy like I like it, the lettuce crunchy and the tomato very flavorful. I can definitely say I agree that this was one of the best BLT sandwiches I've had.

Service was efficient- I was told 10-15 minutes, so I grabbed a coffee at nearby Starbucks & my sandwich was ready when I returned. The restaurant is nothing fancy. There seating inside & outdoors. I live in Oakland, so Lucia's sandwiches are a special treat!
Delicious sandwiches. So large they could feed two people. Rather pricey, but worth the price. Applewood smoked ham is a must try - might be the best deli sandwich I've ever tried!
We ordered this for delivery yesterday and I will say that it's definitely a place. I'm gonna come back too. One of the top five best sandwiches I've had. It was massive enough for two people to be absolutely full. All of the different items were layered perfectly, there was plenty of roast beef and the horseradish sauce was fantastic. The bread was fresh soft with a little bit of crunch on the outside. It was not soggy despite being a delivered sandwich, which is definitely a plus Everything was fresh and tasted really good.
Lucia's is amazing. The staff, sandwiches and ambiance... I cannot wait to come back. We stopped by today for the first time and got the Italian sandwich. We decided to share and glad we did. The sandwich is massive! Loaded with all the toppings, no complaints whatsoever. I was definitely doing my happy dance. Be sure to check them out!
Just wasted $$ on a completely inedible sandwich. Walked in and not one of the three people working could even be bothered to say hello. Didn't break stride in their conversation except for a guy to wander to the register, lean against a rack, and say, "Ya?" Watched the staff continue to work on other things for almost 10min before someone started on my order. Egg salad sandwich so disgustingly wet the entire thing is just mush. Gross. Like foul. Won't be back and don't recommend it at all.
I hate to give Lucia's Martinez a 1 star because I had a 5 star experience at their Crockett location. I placed an online order at 12:04, email said order will be ready around 12:34. Okay, cool. Got to the store at 12:24 and waited 30 mins just to find out someone gave our sandwiches to another customer. Upon hearing such news, not one apology or anything was said. I get that they were a bit busy but such service is unacceptable. Once we finally got our sandwiches. I was in shock to see the Prosciutto Grilled Cheese Sandwich. IT LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTO ONLINE. It was literally just bread and cheese. Barely any prosciutto. Barely tasted any of the fig jam they so claim that's on the grilled cheese. So yeah I went back to share my concerns and one of the ladies, who I assumed was the store manager or just an employee who's been there for long, says, "that's the amount of the prosciutto we put." As she shrugs her shoulders. Then she goes and explains how heating it makes it "more oily." As for the fig jam, they don't put much because it's "so sweet." Yelp Elite Dario O. ordered the Rib Roast because when we had this at the Crockett location, it was heaven. So I hope he had a better experience than I. I hear soooo many great things about their grilled cheese but I am sadly, so disappointed in my whole experience at this location. However, I will still recommend going to their Crockett location because the service is top notch and they employees there know how to craft a sandwich. Sigh, we took the wrong bridge from North Bay today.
We got a Italian Sandwich, lots of meat bread was good. Also split a Grilled Cheese if your in to Cheese pulls this is your sandwich!
The service at Lucia's was well. They're busy so do expect a wait time for your food. They'll give you a wait time. Just allocate an extra 5 minutes just in case. The environment was minimalistic which isn't bad and quite enjoy. The star of the show: the sandwich I ordered the ultimate sandwich. First, that bread was hot AF, but you get that crunch which was good. It's a well put together sandwich. There was dripping yolk which is a nice touch. And I enjoy the taste of yolk from the egg when it's done that way. I also like that they added arugula which isn't super common in places I go to for sandwiches. All in all, it's a good sandwich.

decided to grab a bite from here on the way home from the Bay Area, as I seen a review online. I read to order ahead because they take a while to prep sandwiches, so I ordered online about 30/40 minutes ahead of arrival. We ordered the Lucia's Club BCE breakfast sandwich. Upon arrival, the restaurant is very cute with nice decor & really cool inside. We arrived at the time our sandwiches should've been ready, but we still had to wait 15 minutes. (The restaurant only had us in there & one group walked in after.) we weren't in a rush so we didn't really mind, but be mindful of the long waits if you're on a time crunch. When we finally got our sandwiches, we took them to go & the Lucia's Club was delicious! It was packed with a lot of meat & flavor, a good bite on to grab on the way home. The BCE was just alright, a little too dry for my taste. However, I'd still come back to try more of their signature sandwiches because the club did NOT disappoint! read more
I have only ordered delivery via doordash from here and everytime, it is SO good! My boss and I order Lucia's every few weeks when we need a lunch to brighten our day- and Lucia's does the trick every time. I order the ham sandwich and it comes with apricot jam, arugula, and a few other yummy things. I am not a ham lover but for some reason this sandwich is the best combo of sweet, savory, and creamy. The portion sizes are massive (my boss calls Lucia's the 10 pound sandwich place) and I always have enough to bring home for another meal. My lady found this place on yelp a few weeks ago and we had time on Monday to go visit. We both love sandwiches so it was an easy decision to try it out especially after looking at the photos. I got the Italian sub and she got the turkey bacon avocado. I was blown away by my choice. It was juicy and full of flavor. I could barely open my mouth to take a bit of the whole thing. It's a bit pricey but honestly so worth it as I could have split this meal in 2(I did). I will be coming back for the rib roast next time read more

I ordered the Applewood Smoked Ham and was impressed by the size of the sandwich. The apricot jam added a unique flavor but I'm not sure if I liked it enough to go back for it again. It made the sandwich a bit too sweet for my taste.. But take my words with a grain of salt! I only have a savory palate. Regardless, I would come back to try a different sandwich read more

Arrived at 10:30 to order a sandwich for the San Francisco Giants game. It took a while for this app to acknowledge us, but we were looking at the menu. Place the order and it took 20 minutes for the sandwich. In the end, it was huge and delicious, but the staff could have interacted with us a bit more. read more

Nice sandwiches! We call this the "bougie" deli when we order lunch from here (not a bag thing!!). We always enjoy ourselves, and we are stuffed afterward. The sandwiches are usually big enough for two meals. My favorites are the prosciutto sandwich (great with pears, blue cheese, pickles onions, and walnuts) or the prosciutto grilled cheese. Only suggestion is to order early, since they can take awhile. But it's well worth it read more

This is Lucia's location is the complete opposite of the Crockett location. I placed an order for two sandwiches at 12:05 and arrived at 12:30 for pick up. When I arrived, they said they were waiting for one sandwich, no big deal, I assumed I'll be waiting five, maybe 10 minutes. 25 minutes go by and still nothing so I follow up again and turns out they gave my sandwich away to another customer. Mistakes happened and I wasn't too upset, but there was no sincerity or apologies for the extra long wait time. The lady who was packing orders was also the cashier and I saw her handle money and coins and then wrap another sandwich without cleaning her hands.. pretty gross The people who work there honestly look miserable to be there. The workers at the Crockett location in comparison were all super friendly and inviting not mention their great hospitality and cleanliness. Comparing the two sandwiches also was a huge difference. There was barely any arugula in my sandwich and just a few sprinkles of the onion crisps. The Crockett location's sandwich was huge and packed with so much ingredients and flavor. Lesson learned! This place is outstanding. I ordered the Italian sandwich, and it may honestly be the best sandwich I've ever had. Once I saw how generously packed it was (seriously--look at the photo), the price didn't even register. Every bite was incredible. As a self-proclaimed Italian sandwich connoisseur, I can confidently say this one takes the top spot. The spicy peppers and whatever magical aioli they use push it into elite territory. The meats are clearly high quality, the ingredients are fresh, and the sourdough focaccia is absolutely perfect. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly. You can tell they take real pride in their work, and it shows in every detail. A true 10/10 experience. I'll be back again and again. read more

I came here for the first time and really enjoyed the sandwiches. They were prepared fairly quickly and all the ingredients were very fresh. Huge sandwich so it's well worth the price. Not a whole lot of sitting area so I suggest ordering to go. I highly recommend trying them out. The staff was friendly as well. read more

Stopped in for Mothers Day lunch after a hike! They were extremely busy! This was our first time visiting. The prosciutto sandwich was delicious! So was the tuna. The BLT was small and a bit bland. The wait for our sandwiches (we ate there) was nearly 45 min. They were working on pick up orders from the looks of it. Friendly staff. read more

No complaints here. The folks who run this place understand all of the important parts of making a sandwich. The bread is fresh. There are ample options of bespoke ingredients accommodating all comers. The ingredients are placed in the correct proportions and they have a few suprises. IE Apricot Jam on a Ham Sandwich.
