I called and asked about pricing. The cost (whether jump start or battery) was reasonable. Mr. Ayala said he'd pick up the battery on the way just in case - having gotten the information I had on hand for my make and model, and my equipment preference if it came to that. He also said that I wouldn't be charged for the battery if it wasn't needed - regardless of him making this outlay. As promised, he showed up about 45 minutes after our call - this is with him driving up to Baltimore. When he arrived, Mr. Ayala looked at the battery, said it was 2 years old, no corrosion - relatively young for the equipment. That it probably would be just a jump start (I had left the car sitting for too long). He then promptly walked me through the steps to jump it, while attaching the cords to the outlets. The car started. Then he had me turn it off without the cords attached to check that it still started, which it did. The service was $85. Perfectly reasonable. Convenient and timely, as well, and I found him to be pleasant and knowledgeable.

I went in for an oil change at the end of February with my personal oil and Tom was very nice and helped me out with no issues. Here we are at the beginning of may and in the middle of nowhere I get the "low oil level" light. I open the hood and I notice that I have a leak coming from under the oil filter ( I suspect overtightening of the filter ). I know that there is some oil left in my trunk from my previous visit and find out that my oil was sealed and never touched. So what did they use in my car ? I call the service center to explain my frustration and Tom tells me "Congratulations". Congratulations for me getting free oil from them and what do you want me to do about it attitude. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I never asked for your oil, I certainly never asked for your oil additives either ( even though I was charged for it ) and was never asked if it's ok with me to have it added in my engine. My fault for not checking everything as soon as I left. I was fooled by the positive reviews. I know human errors happen all the time. But you cannot tell your customer who is stranded on the edge of the road "Congratulations". Even though there is no coincidence my oil started leaking after our visit, I will not step foot in your place ever again. There is a plethora of mobile mechanics and shops ready to take my money. Don't forget that you represent a business and need to be courteous to your patrons. If you act like I called your house at 3AM to complain about my problems, you may close shop sooner than you think.

Jeff and Marcus are honest, professional and knowledgable about a wide range of automotive matters. When we take a car to RAC to be serviced, we know the work will be completed properly to maintain the car in top condition. We have never had to take a car back for a re-do Each visit, RAC does a full inspection of the vehicle and tells us what work is necessary and what issues need to be monitored for future consideration, They never recommend work which is not necessary at the time the vehicle is brought in for service. I came to the shop to diagnose an issue with my brakes (1) which was never resolved. Then (2) they left the car with a new issue, and refused to reimburse the cost of repairs. The folks are super nice over the phone. I was excited to finally try to locate a reliable shop that I could trust and consistently work with. Thursday 4/23 I dropped off my car with the request to try to diagnose a loud screeching and feeling of grittiness I felt when braking. These brakes and rotors were recently replaced, so I was concerned. I asked for the car back Tuesday or Wednesday the next week. Monday 4/27 Due to an unexpected work commitment, I had to pick up the car early. Jeff still took time to warm up the brakes and identified there was as issue, which we agreed would be identified by an hour of labor the next time, in which the shop would take apart the brakes to investigate. I greatly appreciated this. Thursday 5/7 Dropped off the car at night. No issues. The shop confirmed over the phone they could get this done by Friday evening. Friday 5/8 I get a call from a staff member saying that their tech had driven the car for 10 to 20 minutes, and heard and saw nothing. After calling back, I requested another individual drive the car longer to warm up the brakes. He confirmed he had done so, and saw no issue. That evening when I picked it up, I saw the shop had driven the car for a total of 1.4 miles - clearly someone here was dishonest. I also noticed the 'check tire pressure' light was on when I picked up the car, but thought nothing of it as when the tires are removed, this alarm has to be reset. Sunday 5/10 I check the tires early morning, and see one of my tires is flat. Not only had the shop lied about driving the car, they had clearly punctured a tire and left the mess for me to clean up. I was forced to cancel prior commitments on my end and pay out of pocket for this issue. Monday 5/11 I contact the shop expressing frustration about the issue, and ask them to reimburse the cost of the tire, a bare minimum courtesy, as this also had serious financial work implications outside of this issue. They tell me that "we never even took the tires off the vehicle to inspect the brakes". I'll allow you to make your own judgements. Have a good day.

Mistakes happen, so I came back and asked to redo the alignment, showed them their own sheet and said the wheel was crooked after the alignment. They said (1) they don't do rear alignments on Toyotas (???), (2) the car has unspecified issues that don't allow it to be aligned, (3) they would need additional payment to do the steering wheel correction. When I pressed them on what the issues were, they refused to commit to anything. Nothing was written down. Truly baffling that these people are running a real shop. I asked to talk to the alignment tech and they said he can't speak English. So how can he understand anything? Is he just guessing? I'm willing to bet they don't have anyone trained and that they're just winging it on each alignment. I talked to Rose and Arbor (blond ponytail man). They kept pushing for more money, and they said I already got an alignment so I shouldn't be greedy. Very rude while I spoke very politely. I went to Midas down the street and they fixed it. No issues with the car were identified, perfect alignment, 45 minutes. The before measurements (after Firestone's alignment) were way off. Extremely unprofessional. Go here if you want your car to go 4 different directions while driving straight!

First, on one visit, I brought my car in for a simple gasket replacement, and they completely messed it up. I ended up having to take my vehicle to another shop to have the initial repair redone properly, which resulted in extra time and money wasted. Second, on a separate visit, they aggressively tried to convince me to replace two of my tires, claiming they had punctures and needed immediate replacement. I took the car elsewhere for a second opinion, and that mechanic confirmed the tires were perfectly fine--no punctures, just blatant upselling. The combination of faulty workmanship and an obvious attempt to scam a customer out of hundreds of dollars across multiple service visits is unacceptable. Avoid this location if you value quality work and honesty.
