Located on Veteran's Boulevard, perhaps I am really blind as a bat because on the day of my first visit on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 2, 2025, I/we didn't immediately see the sign for Spectek in front of its building. Once we did, we found street parking right away. Spectek is located immediately at the left top of the first flight of stairs. The door to their spot had me under the impression that they were a tiny office, but the carpeted place is substantial in size. At the front desk, I was greeted by a very friendly girl who showed my eyeglasses to Sergio. The right-side end piece of my glasses fell out by the hinge, so to replace both sides, I was quoted $50...in cash. Honestly, I was a little shocked by the hefty price and the payment in cash requirement, but, hey, that's much better than buying a new pair of eyeglasses. Sergio asked if I needed them done by the same day or the next, but I was not in a rush. I returned five days later to find my glasses as good as new - YAY! Service was great and affable. I will definitely return to Spectek with any future repair needs.

She will give you trials if she has them for you to make sure you get the ones that work the best for you if you are close to two prescriptions. She also has a great selection of designer glasses to choose from if you want to buy from her, as well as the ability to order contacts for you from many different brands. She also accepts the VSP Vision insurance that I have which makes everything easy and affordable. Now that I've moved I drive 100 miles each way just to see her and it's worth it!
