I have to applaud this place for their great service! I was able to get I the same day, and I loved the soothing environment they created. My lashes were ruined once before by a bad technician, and I had to take a long break from having them done again. What I love about this place is that the lady who took care of me was very careful in addressing my concerns, giving me advice, and pointing out how she would treat my lashes so the same damage does not appear. They are all about a natural look (which is my style), and instead of encouraging you to overdo it or visit them too frequently, they are concerned with preserving your lashes, and making them only more beautiful. Love Eye Do!! If you want lash extensions but you want to keep your natural lashes too, come to Eye Do! So many lash techs in LA do cute work but you will be left bald when those extensions fall out (happened to me). Not only do these lovely ladies at Eye Do know what they are doing, they teach and treat your lashes for fortified and prolonged health. My natural lashes have not only grown back since I started coming here, but they are growing back thicker and longer! They will tell you if your lashes aren't strong or long or healthy enough for a certain service - which is real customer service and knowledge in industry if you ask me. I was a customer for 7 years and loved their work for 6 of those years. They do apply lashes beautifully but their customer service lacks. They do not stand by their work! In May of 2016 I was not pleased with my lashes and my eyelid swelled and my eye hurt. I phoned back and spoke to Bennett the owner and questioned the products and Rose's work (my regular girl,Seta was out ill). Bennett unleashed on me. She took no accountability did not care that my eye was swollen and that I was in pain.She made me feel as though I was in the wrong for questioning and not liking my lashes.She was hostile and rude.She did not acknowledge that I the customer was not pleased and in discomfort. From that point on she stopped speaking to me and went out of her way to avoid all contact with me. I continued to pay for their services and said oh well because I did like the quality of work. In January 2017 I had a new set of lashes put on. I returned in February for a re-lash and in a week all of the lashes fell out. I was shocked and annoyed. I phoned and spoke to Seta (my girl) and explained what happened. She took no responsibility for lashes falling out .She told me maybe its my own regrowth, she suggested maybe she had to clean my lashes deeply thus the application was difficult(none of this was stated at the re-lash ) she said she would not charge for a new set . Really ? I just paid for a new set a month ago and a re-lash. Why would I be charged any amount ? She did offer one day to fix the problem but I could not come in on that day. I had a busy week and I travel from Pasadena.I ask for a Saturday appointment. I never received a call back.Seta made no effort to correct the problem or work me in.I felt she could have come in earlier or stayed late to work me in given the 6 years of loyalty and referrals I have given their business. I was left looking like my lashes had the mange.I called and left a message for her I have never received a phone call back. They do not appreciate long standing customers. They are ungrateful . I would caution you from using this company.If you have a problem with your lashes they turn on you with anger. They need to focus on customer service and understand that a paying customer has the right to question the services and may not like the services.It is a service you should always take the point of view of the customer . All I wanted was my lashes reapplied .They fell out in a week . I looked like I was sick . And they did not care. I have yet to receive a call back. Lash shops are a dime a dozen now. I have went to have my lashes done here several times and have never had an issue. My natural lashes have never fallen out due to bad product from them. I love the way the lashes look and they are installed with no issues. Rose has done my lashes and Dominique has tinted my eyebrows and they come out perfectly every time. Sadly I had to stop going because of distance for me but I love their service. I recommend it completely. I hate to be the one to break the 5-star streak, but I feel obligated to give you ladies a word of warning. So I've had this done twice so far, the first time was absolutely amazing. I'm really bad with names, but I believe that it was Bennett's daughter who lashed me (hehe). When I first looked into the mirror, I couldn't believe it. I naturally have long lashes, but I'm an asian monolid so they point straight down, and when I do try to curl them, they just criss cross in every direction, then fall after about an hour. So seeing me with long, full, perfectly curled, feminine lashes was just...awesome. I couldn't stop staring at them, from every different angle. Hehe yeah I looooved them~ Anyways, three weeks later, they're looking pretty sparse so I came in for a re-lash. Again, I'm bad with names, but I do know that the girl who helped me is the owner's daughter's best friend. She did my lashes while I napped happily. When I woke up, I looked in the mirror and saw long pretty lashes again!! Yay :) I also noticed that the lashes didn't look quite as full and pretty as the first time though, but I thought that was just me becoming accustomed to my eyelashed eyes. She then offered to clean up my brows a bit, and in my happy sleepy haze, I agreed. Ladies. This is where the sadness starts. I told her that I wanted to clean them up a bit, but don't change the shape and "no chola eyebrows" (I always say this to everyone who does my eyebrows). She agrees and gets to work. I mention to her that I heard that fuller, thicker brows makes you look younger. She disagreed and said that sometimes a brow that's too thick can overpower asian eyes. Shrug okay. Different opinion. I feel like she's taking a while, but no biggie. My brow area is pretty immune to pain, so I just close my eyes and wait. Finally she says, "Okay all done, and I want you to do something for me. Grow out this part of your right brow, let me show you." She hands me a mirror. Horror. She's completely changed the shape of my brows. She's taken off a sizeable amount of hair from my inner brow, she's thinned out the shape, and they're uneven. It looks like a baby caterpillar chasing its mama. Or maybe more like a baby caterpillar talking to its mama from pretty far away. I'm totally horrified, but I hold my tongue. I think she can tell it's bad, because she quickly takes out her brow powder and draws in my eyebrows so they look more even. Now I'm full-on chola status. I left in a total gloom, and in my sadness bought an eyebrow powder and brush, along with their eyeliner. Btw, their eyeliner really sucks. It's all watery and gappy and terrible if you want to use it for anything thicker than a pencil-thin line. You also have to apply it before your eyeshadow, which is awkward for me. I'd recommend the Loreal Lineur Intense. Applies like a dream, oil-free and stays put with a little eye primer. Sad sad. And in addition, I realized when I got home that there were a lot of normal, unlashed eyelashes poking down from my extensions, which I didn't see the first time I had them done. I think that explains why they don't look as full this time around. They're also twisting a lot more too. Whoa too much rambling! Okay bottom line: - Fantastic lashes for my first lash, but you may want to request Bennett or Bennett's daughter, especially if you are asian or have a less than perfect eyelash situation. - DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE. SERIOUSLY. - Wouldn't recommend their eyeliner - The only plus is that I've begun to master the art of drawing in my eyebrows. I've never had to do it before, but I guess it's good to learn new things? Still, despite all that, I can't bring myself to give them lower than a 4. They do lashes, after all, that's what it says right there in their name. If their name was Eye Do Eyebrows, I'd give em 1 star. When my roommate saw me without makeup, she said WTF HAPPENED TO YOUR EYEBROWS?? in a frightened and concerned tone. But they're good at what they do, and they're super nice, even the one who mangled my brow. read more

I thought with such high reviews this place would be good, here was my experience. Note I have had lashes out on me at least 10 times so I'm not new to the process. 1. I was there on time and the girl was 15 minutes late 2. I was freezing the entire time. It was so cold in there. 3. The door was left open so I had to listen to the receptionist making calls the entire time 4. My eyelashes don't look real, they look artificial and not natural at all. 5. They actually hurt! If the covers are over my eyes in bed I experience mild pain. (Never happened before) 6. The eye lashes poke my eyes when I close my eyes and try to sleep at night. I made an appointment here and told them I had a gift certificate that I won at a school auction. When I arrived the owner refused to honor my certificate and told me she has never heard of the school it was donated to. I know for a fact that isn't true and I find this establishment very shady for donating to a school and then refusing service. I really wanted to love this place. I found it on Yelp and based on the excellent reviews, made my appointment with Bennett and went to have them done before a big vacation. I wouldn't go here again. First, I saw a huge roach there -- literally four inches long. They handled it and got rid of it quickly, but still, it's not what you want to see. I had made my appointment with Bennett, whom most of these reviews are about, but I felt like I got a little bit of the bait and switch when someone much younger (and clearly not Bennett) started working on me. I thought maybe she'd just do the prep work but she ended up doing the whole thing. Finally, I was really surprised at how fake my lashes looked. I've had countless friends have eyelash extensions with either real lashes or very real-looking lashes for a more natural, but still lush look. These lashes (and these were the most "natural" they had, apparently) still looked wiry, plastic, and just fake. This place is among the cheapest-priced but I'd rather pay more and get higher-quality lashes put in. read more

Well, I went to Eye Do Lashes based on the reviews on yelp. Once I arrived I was greeted by a very warm and cordial Bennett. The place is VERY cozy, small and intimate. Once I got in her chair, oh mine, I knew I was in for a treat, chair is cushioned and warm, you are offered a blanket. Bennett listened to exactly what I wanted to accomplish, once she explained to me what she was going to achieve I was comfortable. I fell asleep 5 min into the service. All I heard was her gentle voice later tell me we were done. I LOVE MY LASHES...they look NATURAL, can't tell that they are extensions. My BF complimented me as soon as I walked in the door. I'm a VERY satisfied customer! The staff are always professional, polite, and genuine. The spa-like accommodations and decor brings a calming atmosphere to each experience. I get to my appt about 20 min early & it didn't take no longer than 5 min for them to bring me I'm and get started. I've been to both Bennett and Seta- you can't go wrong with either of these ladies. I always get an eyelash tint (blue-black) as I have fair eyelashes, and the cat-eye extensions as I find that combined with the lash tint, I can get almost 6 weeks out of them! I've also had a few facials here by Rose and have been very pleased. I was referred here by a good friend and now I send everyone I can here. Bennett and Seta are the best!! I've been getting my lashes done over one year by Seta and sometimes the other ladies at Eye Do. The new location is gorgeous clean and quiet! There is a comfortable waiting area and individual rooms that you get your lashes done in. I have gotten my lashes done at other places and they have fallen out quickly . The glue they use at Eye do is surgical and seems to last longer, as long as you don't pull and go swimming a lot ! There's a package Deal for $300 you can get a full set with three refills . I heard about Eye Do Lashes through my friend and she couldn't stop telling me how much she loved this place. When I developed severe eczema around my eyes I had to stop using mascara. I figured I'd give lash extensions a try and luckily my eyes were accepting of them. I've been going here for about 2 years and I've never been disappointed. Seta always takes AMAZING care of me and I never leave unhappy. She knows exactly what I want and I am so thankful for her lash skills. Benet has also done my lash fills and she also does an amazing job. The staff here is just so friendly and always make me feel comfortable! Dominique does amazing lash lifts which make it hard to choose between a lift and extensions lol. Ladies, forget facials, Botox or heaven forbid, plastic surgery. When you get your lashes done here you won't need ANY of that other crap! I've had Bennett and Michael and they both do outstanding meticulous work. My eyes popped and I love not having to wear ANY mascara. I feel so pretty and glamorous. This is an experienced shop with a loyal customer base and it's not hard to see why. Now, the initial appt is around 125 and re-lashes are 65 so this def isn't cheap. I love my lashes! I got a lash lift. which took about 45 minutes total. My lashes are still looking great and it's been about 2 weeks since I got them done. Supposed to last 1.5-2 months depending on how quickly your lashes grow. I don't have to wear mascara or use an eyelash curler at all. My lashes were very long and full but stick straight. As much as I tried to curl them, as soon as I'd put mascara on them, they'd fall down, so having them lifted is amazing. I will definitely go back to get them lifted again in a few weeks / month. read more
