I'm certainly not making another appointment (when you're already over a month out) for someone else. Why would I do that? Well, I won't, so I guess I'll move on. I've worn both glasses and contacts for over 3 decades, and I've never heads such nonsense.

Over the years the office staff has changed but the service and care is top notch. They have all the current diagnostic machines. They accept all standard insurance plans including VSP. Their in house lab and eyeglass retail space have been served by Julie & Kyle as long as I can remember. They continue a standing policy that you can get your eyeglasses adjusted for free Mon-Fri and Sat till 1pm. They continue to hand out free microfiber cleaning cloths and alcohol cleaning sprays. Free parking around building with handicap ramps. Nice seating area.

Based on a recommendation from my bestie, Smoky Hill Eye Care was highly recommended. Getting an appointment was easy. (Bonus: They have appointments on Saturdays.) Office staff are very professional, and the testing done is thorough. They are upfront with communication about the costs of procedures and bill insurance appropriately. Dr. Puzzo was friendly and got my new prescription updated with ease. The only thing that took a little more time than I would have liked was the online questionnaire I had to complete before my appointment. There was no way to mark some questions with multiple answers, so you had to answer a question multiple times to have more than one answer. (In my case, it was because I have multiple allergies.)

The staff know how to order a year supply of lenses- always with a rebate code through the lens company and always get you the best deal when dealing with insurance. She even tried to hunt down the pair I wanted--but it had been discontinued. When I returned to find another style, the rest of the staff was just as kind and helpful. The pricing…read morewas pretty similar but I chose them b/c they say they are a family business and they are closer to me so I figured shipping would be faster. I had them do 4 pairs of progressives, one of which was a a computer distance. They are all perfect! I guess I'll never know if I actually got the lenses and coatings I paid for, but they are exactly the the right prescription, with no weirdness, lightweight, and the transition is working, as expected. The turnaround was pretty quick, and they were nicely packed up when I opened them up. They had a question about my order and called to go over it with me. I am totally pleased with this experience and would do it again!
