I went in to get eyelash extensions for the first time before heading off on vacation because I didn't want to hassle with makeup when I could be doing other things. Tori did an amazing job and put me at ease right away. She educated me on how to take care of them which kept them looking great for a full 3 weeks solid and I am still getting compliments on them. I am going in for my fill and in between I came down with the flu really bad. I tried a new service for men which included haircut, eybrows, and hair color. The service is great. I did not want to totally color my hair but keep a little grey to look natural. Tori consulted me about the type of color that will not leave an outgrowth mark so the color fades out gradually within 4-6 weeks. Just what I was looking for. Also, my brow cleanup seemed to take years off my face and well manicured. She didn't use wax and a different technique which I like because it does not leave upset red and bumpy skin. I had my upper eyelid tattooed about 15 years ago in NYC. Because it faded over time I wanted to get them touched up in addition to getting my lower lids done. As I live in SoCal now I needed to find a new person I could trust. Do to the 'permanent' aspect of tattoo makeup, it has to be done right the first time and there's no room for error so I was really careful and did a lot of research for who I chose. Tori had great reviews. I really liked how she required an initial consultation to make sure we're both on the same page for the desired look. She was very attentive on that initial meeting that I decided to add my lips to the procedure. She did my eyes first and they came out fantastic. She gave them a nice and very natural shape. A few weeks later she did my lips and today I just got my lips touched up in a minor spot. If your considering permanent make up, Tori is the one you want to do it. Words of advise... The procedures are somewhat uncomfortable and painful but it doesn't last and your will enjoy the outcome for years. Expect swelling and don't be shocked of the dramatic (or clown like) look initially...the color fades and the swelling will go down back to normal. . Any perm make up procedure it is normal to require a touch up so don't be alarmed if you need to come back. Follow all of Tori's advise for before prep and after care (antihistamine to help with swelling, ice, ointment, etc...). Tori is very professional. A true artist and takes pride in her work. I feel safety is primary....Tori is really good in showing that the needle is new in the package, she steralizes the area and wears gloves, drapes me and her facility is very clean. Tori is a 1 woman operation which I like as she had a personal interest in her work and establishas a relationship with her clients. Book your appointment in advance and be on time. I am very conflicted. On one hand she is a very nice lady, and very clean which is something that I look for. However, overall I have to say I was very unsatisfied. Her location is kind of hard to find. I got my eyelashes tinted and my brows tinted too (first time ever tinting brows). My first problem is this. I have had my lashes tinted before and never had an issue, but this time my eyes itch like crazy and are red and swollen where she placed the dye for an "eyeliner" effect- something I didn't ask for and wasn't aware she had done. Overall my lashes do look darker. My second issue, and bigger one too, are my brows. She didn't ask me what shape I wanted at all. She put the dye on my lashes then went to work on my brows. Not once did she ask me how I like them to look, nor did she ask me what color I wanted. They came out looking dark (I hope it will fade) and very round on the inner end, which I prefer to be a bit more square. They are also arched in a round way, when I prefer them to be more angled. She also accepts only cash unless you happen to have the square cash app (free to download and use but make sure you already have it- if your phone is dead for instance you wont be able to pay if you don't have cash). Like I said, she is nice and all- but next time, please do a consultation on what the client wants before she has black dye on her eyes and cant show you. read more

I was looking for some man grooming and was referred by a buddy to this place for a hair cut and back wax. I'm writing this review because I got a hair cut and it wasn't too short finally! The stylist actually listened to what I wanted. They used good smelling products too. Then the back wax. Wasn't as bad that I thought it was going to be. I'm so glad I came to Tori. The first time i went to her I wanted her to wax my face but she educated me on a process called dermaplaning. I was worried my facial hair would come back thick and stubbly. She assured me it would not. She did such a good job explaining it to me that i trusted her and went for it. My skin felt baby soft and completely hair free when she was done, and as she promised my hair grew back the same way it does when I wax or thread. I now have returned for my second dermaplaning treatment and I'm just as happy with it. Tori is very knowledgeable and her studio is clean, beautiful and relaxing. I was super skeptical on getting eyelash extensions done, I did lots of Internet searching and came across tori. So happy that I did! Her place is amazing, super relaxing and right by the beach, you can even hear the waves! She started with a consultation and since it was my first time she showed and taught me lots of things. Once she got started, she explained everything she was doing to me and it was great because it made me feel very comfortable! She started applying the lashes and I couldn't even tell she was working! I was so relaxed that I even dozed off for more than half of the application. She is so detailed and really passionate about her job. You can tell she really cares. Took about 2.5 hours to apply, but I couldn't be happier. Once applied she taught me how to maintain my lashes and how to keep them to their longest ability and even gave me a brush and lash cleaner. What a stunning experiance!
