Best Rx I have ever had. AND they turned my glasses around in 15 minutes!! The frame I picked was my first and only choice. I love this place and would recommend to anyone who asks!

I went here because it is near my school. I always passed by and I have decided to get new glasses since i lost mine. I try to get contact lens but unfortunately my eyes are so sensitive. But i am so happy to get new glasses. I can see better again... I recommend this place. They accept health insurance... Thanks again...

The top part looks forced, as if the glass would pop out.

I went there looking for an adjustment in my sunglasses, they felt a little lose. He damaged them while checking if he could separe the frame from the lenses. Apparently he can't adjust the frame because it would damage the glass. He returned me my $400 glasses back m in worst condition as prior to my consultation.

I had a great experience here. My glasses broke and freind of mine told me they can make glasses in 30 MINUTES!!. and i only paid $99 for eye exam and glasses together. Dr. Erin was super nice and cared about explaining thing about my eyes to me. The staff was super friendly and communicative and efficient. I got my glasses ready in about 30 minutes. They save my day!!

I recently went to this optical place for an eye exam without insurance, and they told me I needed…read moreglasses, so I trusted their judgment and spent $600 on a pair. After waiting three long weeks for them to arrive, everything looked blurry and wrong the moment I put them on. When I returned to the store hoping for a refund, they flatly refused--no returns, no money back. Instead, they suggested I pay out of pocket for another exam as a "second opinion," with the vague promise they might help afterward. Frustrated but determined, I did exactly that with a different doctor, who confirmed I don't need any prescription at all. I sent them the new report as proof, expecting a full refund, but they still wouldn't budge. Their only concession was to let me turn the unnecessary glasses into sunglasses for a credit. With no other options left, I reluctantly took them up on that offer--only for it to drag on another three weeks with the glasses still not returned to me. It's obvious their initial exam was inaccurate, their staff refused to take responsibility, and corporate clearly doesn't care enough to make it right. I won't be going back, and I'd strongly advise anyone else to steer clear unless you're okay with the very real risk of being misled, overcharged, and left with no resolution.

Everything about this business is fantastic! It started with my exam with optometrist Dr. Osako,…read morewho explained that the reason why my previous prescriptions were not allowing me to see better is that they were too strong. My last optometrist strengthened my previous prescription because I'd said I couldn't read fine print on my TV, but what they needed to do was correctly assess my vision, which (surprisingly!) had improved. Now, with Dr. Osaka's new prescription, I can actually see again, thank goodness! And yesterday, when I went to pick up my glasses, Jacqueline, the general manager, went well out of her way to take care of me. She was so friendly and kind, and shetreated me with such warmth, dignity, and respect. I am so grateful to her and to Tim, the super-friendly and clearly talented lab technician who took care of an important need I had for my new lenses. All in all, I am thrilled that I have found such a terrific optometrist office! I love my wonderful new glasses and the beautiful case that came with them, and I LOVE the fact that I can finally see! Thank you all at Friedman Optometry!

She was incredibly detailed, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire exam. I've been to several optometrists before, but this was by far the best experience I've had. She was very patient and understanding about my concerns and my complicated vision needs. My previous glasses were made at Target Optical, and they were so uncomfortable that my eyes constantly felt tired and strained. The gentleman who helped me with my glasses fitting and insurance was also extremely professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to all my concerns. I just picked up my new glasses yesterday, and wow -- they are so comfortable! I'm beyond happy that I found this office, and Gold Optometry will definitely be my optometrist from now on. Highly recommend!

I went back about three times and saw four different technicians for adjustments. Mr. Matthew Park was the last person who assisted me, and he truly stood out. I went back once more for another adjustment, and now they feel almost perfect. If you're someone who's hard to please or have a more challenging case, I highly recommend asking for Mr. Park. Full disclose, this review is regarding my experience only ordering glasses, no optometrist visit…read more TLDR: I got what I needed, but will keep looking for a different place for my family's needs. My toddler daughter needed glasses and we already had a prescription from her pediatric Ophthalmologist. I was searching for a place closer to home that carried toddler frames, because the recommendations from her pediatric Ophthalmologist at the Dohney eye institute in Pasadena were all in SGV. I called New Vision specifically asking about frames for my 20-month old and after being satisfied with their answers, made an appointment. However, their selection was disappointing and they didn't have the strap-on toddler frames, as I was told on the phone. I went with the only viable option reluctantly because I wanted to get the glasses and didn't want to waste more time. I gave them the prescription (in paper form) and they had trouble with their scanner so told me they'd give it back to me when we picked up the glasses. I asked if my daughter needed to be present, and they said yes. When glasses were ready, they texted me at 3:48 Friday asking me to make an appointment, and said they were closing at 4:15 and reopened on Monday. Had I been notified even a couple hours earlier, I could have rearranged my schedule instead of waiting until Monday. So that was disappointing. Finally when picking them up, my daughter tried them on but they didn't really do anything else so not sure why my daughter needed to be present or why I needed to make an appointment. And they also didn't have the paper prescription that I had been promised. The person giving me the glasses made zero effort and just told me how easy it is to request it again from the ophthalmologist office. I obviously know this. This just underscored to me that things aren't communicated properly about patient requests.
