Dr Kleinman is great. Very professional and friendly. I look forward to my annual exams. This past year I was having issues with my contacts at the end of the day, they would dry out. Service here has gone down the drain! Terrible staff! I originally had an appointment at 5pm they called & rescheduled me at 4:45, my son at 5:30. Now mind you, we've both been here before. Our information is in the system. When I finally get here, they have me update our info. Once I hand it over to the lady at the desk she asked about our insurance plan. To my surprise they no longer take his plan! I left work 2 hrs early! I wish they would have mentioned it when they book our appointments, or even when the abruptly rescheduled me! The staff they had before was on top of things. They asked these questions! What a waste! You think with the over priced frames & the long wait for your glasses to come, that they would at least offer quality service! read more

The eye exam overall felt like I was being rushed. I appreciated the efficiency, but at one point the examiner was literally answering the questions for me before I had a chance to answer them. She spoke really quickly and didn't seem to take much care in her methods. The frames selection isn't awful; but the experience was a bit awkward. Staff was friendly but the frames showroom area is super dark and dim, and there aren't any mirrors bigger than a piece of printer paper, which makes it hard to imagine how the frames actually look on you. Not a terrible experience but just not nearly as great as it could have been. read more

Well it has been more then 1 month now and i still have yet to receive a call letting me know if my glasses are ready... very sad that i have been waiting since last month to get glasses for my daughter. Its sad that they called me 2 weeks ago to tell me they would be ready in 3 days after wating for 2 weeks and now its been another 2 weeks and still no call or glasses. Very disappointed and more then likely i will not come back. read more

This review is not for any of the optometrists here but just for the service, which is great. My sister and I both wear hard lenses, so when even the smallest speck of dust gets in your eye, it hurts like a bitch because that little piece of hard plastic is shoving the dust into your corneas and then trapping it there so that you can't get it out unless 1) you can tear enough so that the dust can escape, 2) you use rewetting drops for the tearing effect, or 3) you remove your contact lens and clean it. Unfortunately, we were at the mall when this happened to my sister and we didn't have eyedrops. Luckily, I spotted the Vision Center sign and asked if I could have some solution for my sister who was having an eye emergency. I offered to pay for it, but the lady there just gave it to me for me. She was really nice about it! And I love free stuff! read more

Went here today for an appointment I had scheduled for 3:30 PM. Have always been disappointed by the service I myself have received from this office. The older lady with red hair that works the reception counter is a hard pill to swallow. I walk in to check in and she's quickly giving me attitude asking If I need help. I explain I have an appointment and she changed her tone slightly from mega bitch to just bitch. Then gives me some forms and tells me to fill them out. I fill them out quickly and give them back to her. It's now 3:25 and I take a few minutes to look around the shop, all while I turn around to find her glancing over at me as if I'm gonna steal something. Whatever, I ignore it and sit down. Wait for another 30 minutes before I can't help myself and get up and Tell her I will have to reschedule. I expected to hear an apology for the long wait or to hear a reason as to why I'm leaving, but unfortunately all I get is an OooK with a little eye rolling to boot. In the beginning I mentioned myself because my wife has gone here with our 3 kids and and she says yeah the red head always has a bit of attitude but hopefully you get to deal with the younger girl, she's way friendlier. I never got the pleasure. Anyway due to the shitty service I've received I've decided to find a new optometrist for myself and my family. That's 5 sets of eyes they will no longer profit from in any way whatsoever due to the lack of customer service provided by this establishment. Smile a little bit lady, it doesn't cost you a f×÷&×n cent and it goes a long way, in other words get a personality. Let me end it by saying it's not all bad here. If you can stomach the troll then you'll find the doctor is the complete opposite of this woman, don't be afraid to find someone else doc. She's ruining your business, think of how many have walked out and not mentioned anything. Put that chick on check. read more

Came in for an eye exam about a month and a half ago. +Took me as a walk-in, accepted my insurance (VSP) +My optometrist was very nice and provided great care. Thorough exam, pleasant demeanor, gave me some good and sound medical advice. -Felt very much more like a sales business than a healthcare provider. -To that point: staff aggressively sells. Tried to upsell me before, during, between, and after exams (on frames, special imaging, and frames again twice.) When I refused it felt like I became a ghost in the waiting room. Very uncomfortable. -When the exam was over, had to wait another five minutes to pay. Was asked to look around for a minute and the staff would find me. -Did not give me a copy of my prescription when I paid my exam copay. Staff had to go and fill out scrip by hand from some file. Felt like if I wasn't buying frames/lenses from them they didn't care. -Prices are either not clearly marked or outrageously high. Everything was tagged but had a samey kind of number attached at around the $225 mark? -When I went to another vendor to get frames within a couple hours, discovered that Kleinman's staff had (presumptuously?) marked my vision benefits as already used. After everything else that had happened I was very upset. Called and the staff was actually kind of rude about it? Said "okay I'll do it in a couple minutes" and actually hung up on me. To their credit it did get done but, wow. Overall, I would maybe go back for an exam from Dr. Wong. A good doctor is hard to find, and you should keep one when you find it. Very hesitant to revisit however because of the aggressive sales staff and poor guest service skills. read more

They up their prices because they know most insurance pays $100-$160--- bad experience. if u are looking for nice high end frames don't come here. It's in the mall so I guess it's to be expected. excellent customer service and wide variety of frames. giselle helped me throughout my entire process of purchasing my glasses. the staff was super friendly and patient, which is always a must when searching for the perfect set of glasses. once finalizing my frames and prescription, my glasses were ready for pick up in less than 24 hours! will definitely be coming back here when i'm due for new glasses! read more

I also used Dr. Kleinman for the first time. I needed contacts for my astigmatism plus multi focal. I work down the street from the office and was always out of his office in time to get back to work and on occassion pick up a snack to take back. Dr. Kleinman took me through several weeks of trial lenses until I got the perfect fit as well as comfort level. He and the small staff are always friendly and helpful. read more

First of all how can you not like going to an eye doctor who is in a mall. I've been going to Dr. Kleinman's office for about two years. I now take my daughter as well and have bee very satisfied with the care and attention we have been given. The staff is very nice and the Doctors are very easy going and explain everything so that you understand. read more

after several expensive and frustating errors by Lenscrafters i was rec to Jeffrey Kleinman by a friend.....and i will be forever grateful Dr Kleinman listened to my problems, gave me a very thorough eye exam and proposed a slightly different prescription from my current glasses was then assisted by Martha and Jackie in choosing from the vast selection of frames available in the very nicely appointed store......also Dr K re-appeared to check i was happy and he personally approved the frames i selected as appropriate for my 'strong" prescription..........this was a first for me and indeed everyone in the store was pleasant, helpful and polite 2 weeks later i am now wearing my new glasses, headache free, and at what i consider to be a very fair price for the excellent service provided I was initially nervous about visiting a new Optometrist but this company has delivered a great product combined with wonderful service.....highly reccomended on the basis of my personal experience read more

Wow. Is all i have to say.. the staff is awesome specifically the young lady named Vanessa that helped me she was oh my god beautiful but thats not it she was very nice she made me feel like she was there for me. We talked about food and bbq and she was genuine and she was very easy to talk to and very professional .. if i could have her as a girlfriend i would be a very lucky dude. But that not all the doctor was amazing we joked and laughed he made you feel comfortable and didnt seem in a rush, he seemed to work at your pace answered any questions i had , asked if i had concernes or questions he had a sense of humor whan i was craking jokes about being big and blind. He also explained in detail what was what and why things were done. Overall great experience again.. i think ima go back just to chill over there since everyone is soo cool. They have my business for life unless i move out of state. read more

Terrible customer service went into this location and wanted a specific color of frames they took my info and said would give me a call the next day when they could see if they had it. Ok fine too inconvenient I suppose to look it up on your computer. Next day no phone call. I go back in person the girl says oh yeah so we don't have it in that color. Not your fault that is fine. Sunglasses are way overpriced just because they accept FSA card. Still gave them a second chance when I found a pair I liked at another location just wanted to compare pricing asked if they had a certain pair of oakleys in stock provided them with model number they said they didn't have it in stock but could check the price and call me back the next day took my info yet again and yet again no phone call back with price. How hard can it be the other places I ended up going to that didn't have glasses in stock went to their computers and looked it up in a matter minutes and provided price. Anyway I doubt they care but I ended up getting 2 pairs of glasses elsewhere and would never recommend this place to anyone hope the owner is aware he has lazy workers that aren't willing to take a few minutes out of their day to provide basic customer service. read more

The exam was very nice high tec and I felt like they really knew what they were doing. staff was friendly. My issues? Here you go: they did not confirm benefits before the appt. with that being said i got there early and had to wait for them to verify benefits. #2. They gave me temp contacts that were not my prescription knowing I had contacts already that I could use until the trial ones were ordered. I brought them with me and the Dr even went as far as to say they were no longer being sold yada yada yada to the point I almost threw them away! She also insisted there are no contacts that are multifocal that work with astigatism. i actually found several brands that are multifocal and toric! #3 They did not provide my prescription even though I requested it after I paid my exam. I was curious to see how different the "new" prescription was in compare to my old one. Well I called two days later and requested my prescription again and I was told the exam was not complete yet and they could not provide it. at this point I threw the law - by law they are to provide patients their prescriptions upon paying for the exam. I demanded they fax it which they did and low and behold the prescription was the same as my current!! One small change in the axis from 90 to 80 thats it!! No other change! So upsetting since basically they wanted me to pay for contacts when I have some that wont expire until next year and I can see, afteralll my prescription is low grr!! Very disappointing since this office was highly recommended by coworkers and VSP! Never again!! read more

this is the worst optometrist I have ever been too!! i do not, i repeat i do not recommend this place to anyone!! my daughter bought $400 Chanel glasses that needed to be adjusted every week for the past month and when she took them in for the 10th time the "supposed professional" melted her lens!! mind you her glasses keep getting wider and wider and when we asked for an exchange there was no budging!!! Martha is the worst manager ever not business like at all, there is nothing professional about this place nor the workers!! don't bother spending you money here go else where!! staff sucks!!! and so do the products!! read more
