I went here because of the yelp reviews. I did not make an appointment and when I got there 3 other people were waiting before me (to me that's a good sign) . This was my first time getting my brows threaded and I am THRILLED with the results. There were two women ahead of me in line but the wait took no time at all. The woman who did my brows listened to what I wanted and was gentle but thorough with her work, and officially made me an eyebrow threading convert! I didn't like them initially b/c I lost the Arabian look that I had, but after a few hours I decided that I liked them b/c finally someone can make my eyebrows look symmetrical. Love them. Calm, quiet, rarely a line & reasonably priced. For whatever reason, I feel less physical discomfort with the experience there, and instead of pouncing with alcohol cotton after the threading (I'm allergic), they ask whether or not I'd like rose water. read more

Bina was very quick, friendly and when i said not too thin she did it that way and carefully. However one brow is broader than the other in the middle. I should have noticed and i am sure she would have corrected. I could'nt leave tip as the tip is cash only. read more

Excellent place for eyebrow threading! I have been back twice so far and will continue to go here. The place itself is a little hidden...you have to head upstairs but is very clean and neat. I have been to both the Old Town location as well as this one. Both have done a very great job with eyebrows. I have been threading my eyebrows for years and can tell when the threader is rushing just to get done. Best place in northern Virginia. read more

First time doing thread. It was more painful than expected but manageable. There was only one employee when I got there. She was very nice and quick. I am very happy with the results. I asked her to not take too much out since I have very little brows. She did a great job. It took about 4 minutes each brow. The price is average (12$). read more

I came here after purchasing the grand opening Living Social voucher for a half priced eyebrow threading and was pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the results- my eyebrows came out looking natural, just as I requested. I made my appointment via email and got an almost instantaneous response from the manager, Tina, confirming my booking. You do not need to make an appointment here, I just did because I do things like that. Eyebrow Express is in a weird location and you have to know that it is there; no one will ever just stumble upon it (it is upstairs in an older, less trafficked building by Arlington Rooftop, on the border of Clarendon/Courthouse). Parking is not easy, but I did not expect it to be given the area. The decor is very plain, no frills. I like the results, the price is right and it takes ten minutes. I'll be back! Some of my friends get their eyebrows threaded at mall kiosks and have expressed that they are uncomfortable sitting in front of a million people walking by- if you like threading but do not want it to be a public affair, Eyebrow Express is the spot for you! Notes: I am fair skinned and do not have thick, unruly eyebrows to begin with so I just asked them to "clean them up" and shape them, not remove a ton of hair. read more

Walked in here today to get a much needed thread for my eyebrows! I only had to wait about 10 minutes while she finished the customer before me. This place is in a kinda strange location in a small old building but right on Wilson Blvd. It's no fancy salon, but I'm happy with the way my eyebrows look and the prices are similar to other threading shops in the area. Best threading salon in the DC area. It is no frills, no 'salon-like' experience. But the service is professional, skilled, and fast. The threader is also very understanding and actually listens to clients. Even when I have not been 100% satisfied, she has gone back to fix whatever I would like (not that she makes mistakes, just my preferences). I have gone to many different places in the DMV area but I would urge anyone who is more interested in the actual service than whatever products some other places try to sell, to come here. read more

Eyebrow express is a hidden treasure! Since moving to the DC area, I've tried a number of eyebrow places and this is by far the best. It's nothing fancy, but my eyebrows always come out perfectly even and natural looking. They use rosewater on your brows to calm the redness. Highly recommended. read more

Came in here on Friday for the first time as I was in the area. I am absolutely happy with how my eyebrows turned out. I asked her to just clean up my eyebrows, as I don't like them too thin. I used to get my eyebrows waxed until the last time I got them waxed the lady did them too thin so I decided to try threading. She did an excellent job, she also trimmed my brows as they do get bushy. I will never go back to waxing my eyebrows again! The only issue is parking..I found street parking and had to pay $1 for an hour even though my appointment only took about 10 minutes. read more
