Been coming here for years - first discovered this place over Groupon, and it has been a pleasure to see it grow over the past 3 years in terms of employees and clients. (The salon was originally founded by two women who worked at a salon together and wanted to start their own business,) All the employees are super sweet. I typically get eyebrow threading and eyelash tint done. This is the cheapest (highest quality eyelash tint) in the DMV area (Used to be $20, raised to $25.) The staff give good, honest advice. They advised me not to tint by eyebrows given their color and texture. The staff make all the clients feel beautiful. I've seen them boost confidence of a cancer patient who recently lost most of her hair. The place is wheelchair accessible. Parking is easy but I like to scooter here and leave my scooter in the shop. I'm also a fan of the loyalty program - 7 eyebrows visits and 8th free. read more

I was recommended by my friend to check this place out after another bad expereince with waxing my eyebrows. With that said, this was my first time getting threading! I came 30-ish minutes before close, but luckily they accept walk-ins. They took me in right away and began threading my eyebrows promptly. I think she could tell I was nervous (just from so many bad experiences with badly shaped/matched eyebrows), so she asked for my preferences (maintain the shape and just clean them). It wasn't that painful (it is still yanking hair out, but compared to waxxing? Really not that bad) and they came out as sisters for the first-time in a long-time ! And $13 flat? Pros: They took me as a walk in for an eyebrow wax and saw me quickly. The woman who did my eyebrows was friendly and polite. She also did a great job tinting them and offered to do a little threading to add shape. Cons: she burned my eyelid. I had a small patch of dry, rough, discolored skin for over a weeks from where she waxed the same spot twice than ran a dry cotton ball over it. read more

The place was clean and friendly. The waxing room was smaller than typical (about the size of a walk in closet). I arrived for my appointment but left because their sugaring isn't done with the traditional 'ball' method. They use the hard-wax paper on-top of the "sugar" to rip it out. Odd. My friend is fine with the method and still goes here for service. read more

The place is beautiful and clean, but unfortunately, the employee didn't seem to have the expertise in shaping and threading brows. It would be better to either pluck them yourself or visit a place that knows how to thread more effectively without missing spots or hairs. I called the day before and made an appointment, but I was a little late bc my GPS rerouted me in the wrong direction. She had another client getting brows done when I came, so I waited in their comfy chairs. I got sugaring (Brazilian) and she was so friendly and personable. It was a busy Saturday and it was just her so I had to wait a little bit but that was no problem. Plenty of street parking was available, which was an added plus. The two owners were very friendly and welcoming, and Babit (apologies if I got her name wrong) who did my threading was clearly skilled and experienced. I was happy with the results, and the cold rose water compress at the end was a nice treat (as was the 15% off opening discount).
