I just went to this location for the first time. I used to frequent the other location and had my eyebrows done by preet quite a few times and had nothing but great results. I went to this location and had my eyebrows done by someone else. I feel like she could have spent some more time. There were a few patches that she missed that i had to come home and correct. Also had 3 cuts in different places around my eyebrows. I feel as if they just need to spend a little more time with each customer. Until then im fine driving over to the elk grove florin location to get a flawless set of eyebrows by preet. read more

When I first started here, I had thin brows and a weird shape from waxing, but Aman re-shaped and helped my brows get thicker. This place is great!! Whether this is your first time or your 100th time, you will not be disappointed! They do a great job with shaping and they are quick! The salon is clean, everyone is nice and welcoming and they have positive, uplifting music playing in the background. Even with every chair occupied, I was still in and out in under 15 min. My review is based on what happened on Tuesday 4th. My usual person to go is Jessie. I love her. She is neat, a very nice lady, excellent customer service and detailed. However, on Tuesday I learned that she hurt her shoulder and was going to be out for quite some time. My daughter had her eyebrows done just once with Amani but she went lil crazy and thin them out so we went with another girl this time. Not only she did a horrible job but she kept telling me it wasn't her fault. That my kids eyebrows were naturally like that. Very defensive. Then she was waiting for Amani to come over and ck the work out. I got upset because what matters is what I, the customer who is paying for the service, thinks about it. Told her To pls finish. She left lots of hairs on. While paying she kept telling me: tip pls I'm looking for a different place now. read more

Aman did a fast and simple job on my brows. I wasn't thrilled but I wasn't dissatisfied either. I, of course, asked that she keep as much of my brows intact as she could so they didn't look thinner...but she took off way more from underneath than the last few threaders I've been to. On the up side, I liked the shape and the arches. I fill them in regularly anyway, so having a nice shape gives me a "stencil" to work with. I could have used more fullness, but I can deal with what she gave me. I'm disappointed that there wasn't any trimming, moisturizer application, or filling in. I sat in the chair, she did her thing and I paid. There wasn't even anyone waiting! She could have been much friendlier and took her time to get my brows looking perfect. $9 plus a tip. This is probably my favorite place to get my eyebrows threaded. They're always quick and my eyebrows look great after coming here. I've never had to wait more than 5-10 min, sometimes they're able to see me right away. Another thing I noticed is the thread they use. I've been to some places where the thread is really rough or something and it makes the entire experience pretty painful, with it rolling on my skin and plucking the hairs. I'm very thankful that they were open on Christmas Eve and Preet answered the phone very soon after missing my call. Though there was many people waiting, they finished the brows pretty quick. For a minute it made me nervous that they might try to rush through doing my brows and mess up but thankfully she (i forgot her name) took her time and made sure that my brows were even. on the complaint side, she made my brows a little too thin. It was nothing too serious that i can't fix with makeup but also it was very painful. Ive been getting my brows threaded since I was 11 and it pretty painful in comparison to past experiences. Overall im not upset with my outcome and I would still suggest other people to go here but there were some things I wasn't super ecstatic about. read more

I loove getting my brows done here! I've gotten my brows done by 3 different girls & they all do an amazing job. My brows come out perfect every single time and all for a reasonable price of 9 bucks. My only complaints are that they lack in customer service skills. They never introduce themselves so if you like a certain person & want them the next time you come in, make sure you ask for their name. They rarely greet you at the door. They also apparently assume you have been there before so when they tell you to hold your eyelid down and put your fingers on your forehead they don't guide you they just demand you to do it like you know what you're supposed to do haha. But it's no biggie. My second complaint is that the place is suuper cramped and it gets a little chaotic in there esp. when it's busy. They also seem to not only have brow services but also hair coloring, cutting, waxing, etc.. Just a whole lot of stuff going on in one teeny tiny space. So yeah... if they work on customer service a little more, had more space, & a little more organization it would def be 5 stars! read more

My sister loves coming here to get her eyebrows threaded! I used to come here as well till I found my esthetician in fair oaks! They're get you in and out pretty fast (and prices are reasonable) so there's never a really long wait but because you're in & out don't expect them to really make too much convo. They know no one wants to wait 20 mins to get their brows or facial hair threaded. Also, I've never had her do my makeup but I always see Indian brides come in to get their make up done! I visited Aman for about 2 years for my eyebrows and occasionally my full face. Although she is good at what she does, she was constantly late to my appointments and never once apologized. If I had an appointment for 1:30, she would not see me until AT LEAST 1:45-1:50, at which point she would emerge from the back of the shop. It was not rare for me to have to wait 30 mins in her shop to be helped. She was not assisting other clients, just late. Every. Single. Time. In addition, she is incredibly difficult to get a hold of. She says to text her to set up an appointment, but no matter how thorough I am in my original text she never replied. I would call her to set one up, and 80% of the time she would say she's with another client and would return my call. 100% of the time she never returned my call. What's the point of setting up appointments if you can't keep them? I'd recommend she plan her time better. I understand she's likely a busy woman, but I've begun visiting another shop that is more punctual and does my eyebrows perfectly. Take my advice and visit a shop that values your business and time. read more

My first experience was amazing! I loved my eyebrows. I think aman did them, I couldn't quite remember her name but she did give me a card and circled a name. So I'm guessing it was her. I decided to go here again because my eyebrows grew out. I came in and I didn't see the girl who did my eyebrows before so I was just like whatever. I told her I wanted it cleaned up and with a little shape. As the girl did my eyebrows, it felt like normal. So I paid and left. Once I got home... My eyebrows were a complete mess! It looked like only underneath my arch was clean and there was no shape to it. It just looked the same as to when I came in. Ugh! I'll be sure to ask for the right girl next time. read more

This was my first time here, and i had to wait 15 minutes. I sat in a chair that wasn't wiped down after the previous customer sat in it. It was a typical threading experience, cooling gel (aloe Vera), trimming, and a little tweezing. I get my brows threaded every 3-5 weeks, so it wasn't like there was a ton of work that needed to be done. I walked out and not only did my brows not match, they looked like i had haphazardly tweezed them. I had to tweeze, and trim the hairs myself after, and they still didn't look quite right. Probably won't be going back here. Not to mention it was $12, and most places are around $10. read more

The only place I trust with my eyebrows, and hair & makeup for special occasions. I came to the Elk Grove-Florin Rd. location after years of getting my brows waxed. Never satisfied with the results of waxing, I tried this place out after my brows were very thinned out. They helped shape my brows that I have today, and I am very satisfied. I also have gotten my hair and makeup done in two occasions. My first time with Aman at the Laguna location in October of 2017 and with Preet on November of 2018. Both times I have been satisfied with the end result. I will only speak of my most recent experience (Nov. 2018) here though or else this review will be super long. Preet is very knowledgeable in her line of work. She worked with me to get the look I wanted to achieve. She also helped me with my troubled hairline and hide some imperfections. My makeup stayed on perfectly even after hours of dancing. It still looked flawless by midnight. My hair also stayed in place. I kept getting compliments all through the night. read more

It was my first time at this Laguna location I usually go to the other one on calvine but I moved. I decided to give them a try. I walked in, singed in. Didn't have to wait which was a plus. Sat down and the older lady who did my eyebrows didn't really know much english. I told her how I wanted my eyebrows done. She took forever... About 5 mins into my eyebrows a girl came in and she left before me... I knew something was wrong. She said something in her language to the other lady who had finished. And the other lady replied in a irritated voice. Had to fix it. Before she fixed it she showed me if she could make them thinner since the other lady messed them up.
