I am SO HAPPY with how my custom manicure design turned out!!! My nail technician was JADE and she was SO meticulous when it came to painting the intricate designs, shaping my nails, and consulting me (and another very skilled technician named MIA) on what techniques she could use to achieve a certain look! Jade was very patient with the whole process and pulled out all the stops. This nail color is the Sapphire Blue Cat Eye as the base. She used a thin nail brush to paint the black swirls and gold glitter accents. I witnessed a gold chroma being applied too (it was like a magic show)! The center nail uses the Pearl Cat Eye color with a vertical ombré using the same Sapphire Blue from my other nails. Jade glued on the water drop shaped gemstone as the center piece. Jade really went above and beyond to achieve the custom look I was seeking. All I did was show her the inspiration picture and she really brought it to life! In total from start to finish, it took ~ 2 hours to complete the manicure. The results definitely show!!! I recorded a video so you can see the cat eye shimmer effect. Emelie did an amazing job recreating my design that was originally from acrylic nails into my natural nail shape. She took extra time to readjust the design or sharpen the tips to my preference. She even taught me how natural nails have a specific technique to keep layers from peeling, so I learned a lot here. The music was relaxing instrumentals of popular songs and everyone was good about cleaning in between services or steps. This is a great salon to bring your design inspirations to life. I do plan to return the next time I want a specific design done. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is my own preferences on symmetrical French tips, which is a really challenging thing to do. That does not change how beautiful these nails are and that I will definitely be coming back for manicures here. read more

This is a hard one - I've been coming to Luxury nail every 3 to 6 weeks since July 2023. I have bought gift certificates and have come with my aunts, cousins, uncles, etc. All the ladies that have worked on my nails have been great. They are consistent at the quality which is great for me because I just get a simple dip on natural nails - no designs, no extensions, etc. I appreciate a place that has consistent quality no matter the nail tech. However, they need to vastly improve their customer service and scheduling system. Out of the 30ish times I've come, only a handful of times can I count where I have been seen within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment time....meaning I usually wait 30-60 minutes to be seen after my scheduled appt time. 2 appointments ago I waited 55 minutes after my appt time. I asked the girl at the front why the long wait and she said it was because I selected "any staff" when scheduling an appointment so I get treated like a walk in and because they were so busy the wait times were even longer. She couldn't give me an ETA of when I'd be seen but said I was second in line. But I saw 7 other people go before... when I asked her about that she seemed annoyed at me and laughed and reiterated that I'm a walk in because when scheduling my appointment I selected any staff. But that explains why I was waiting so long each time because I select "any staff" because the nail techs are great and I just get a simple dip... I don't care who does my nails. Also, why even offer any staff for an appointment if they get treated like a walk in? 1 appointment ago I made an appointment with specific nail tech and awesome, got seen within 15 minutes after my appt time. That's improvement. This last time I made an appointment with a specific nail tech, and again, I'm told I won't be seen until at least 25 minutes after my appt time...even though I selected a specific nail tech. The same girl who laughed at me waiting for almost an hour was very happy to tell me I'd have to keep waiting this time. I don't get why they even offer appointments if they cannot stick to the scheduled time. I've just gotten so frustrated and tired with their front desk's disregard and disrespect for clients. Other nail salons I went to before would offer a 10% or $5 discount for long waits. Nothing here. Only an expired lotion that causes rashes which is probably why they are giving it away...it's not even about a discount but the complete disregard for people's time and not even caring. I hate leaving a negative review but after spending at least $50 (not including tips) every 3-6 weeks for the last 3 years, the very least is to have some respect and regard for clients' time. I understand a 15 minutes buffer but the amount of times I've had to wait over 30 minutes... and to be laughed at. I really hope the owner doesn't reply with the "it was a rush" or "it was a busy time" generic response because for this to be the instance EVERY SINGLE TIME and for multiple reviews to speak on their awful scheduling system and disregard for clients, should be an indicator of their business practices needing improvement vs. "you came in during a rush". read more

They don't respect people's times. Checked in for my appointment, waited 15 minutes, no one said anything to me. Went to the counter to ask, and still had multiple people in front of me! Why let people make appointments if you don't respect them? Or at least warn me when I check in that you are running 15-30 min late!! read more

I've never been so baffled in my life. I've been getting my nails done every month for the last 5 years. I understand the industry & how prices have changed. I am all for it. But today made no sense to me whatsoever. I came in to get my French tip redone. Just a repaint since the nail lady I went to before that didn't do the best job so I figured I'd come back to this salon to get the same thing I asked for last month. The acrylic I have is already colored meaning you don't have to repaint the pink/nude. Just file off the top coat and french tip and repaint for me. Which is exactly what they did for me last month for $28 (I tipped in cash). I had no problem with paying the $28 HOWEVER -- going back today on 3/26. I called and asked them for the price again just to make sure. And this time she quoted me $15 over the phone. I figured this price would go up once they actually saw my nails to the $28 I paid last time so I came in. I walk in and they examine my nails and then tell me it's going to be $28 for a color change + another $15 for French tip making that a total of 43 DOLLARS to repaint my French tip. I wasn't asking for a base color change since my base acrylic was already colored. I was asking for a redo on my french tip. Paying $43 for that kind of service will never make sense to me. To top this experience off, some worker had the audacity to give me attitude and tell me that I didn't come to this salon and I'm making prices up in my head. So as offended as I was -- I still smiled & I decided to just pull up the receipt. I show her and tell her to explain that to me & she says it's wrong and just says "no no no". To give me attitude even after I showed the receipts is crazy and I hope they never show another customer that side of them again. I kept my composure the entire time just so I could save my disappointment for this review. Do better and get your prices straight. Don't try to up charge a customer for work that's clearly not reasonable. A RETURNING CUSTOMER AT THAT ** Their response shows exactly the kind of customer service they are. I'd be damned if I paid $43 for that kind of service. To sum up your response: She didn't pay or go through with the service so why are you complaining. Actually laughable. I've been more than patient with this salon & their prices. You bumped up your prices in one month? Okay. I continuously said that my acrylic is colored therefore, you do not need to do whatever color change you're talking about. I simply wanted my french tip to be filed off and repainted. Which is never worth $43 by the way. At the end of the day -- all you guys said was a whole bunch of nothing. To give me attitude & telling me I didn't come to this exact salon and get the service AFTER I showed the receipt AND I was trying to be so understanding? You were better off just not responding. We really wanted to like this place! It was super busy and we were impressed by the cleanliness and the organization. We had our pedicures with Julie and Emilie. They were awesome, very friendly, meticulous and provided great customer service, making sure we were satisfied with the pedicure along the way as well as making sure we were aware of the complimentary drinks (wine, water, juice, etc). We decided to return and get manicures later in the afternoon. We booked our appointments with Julie and "any staff" since Emilie was unfortunately not available. To our surprise, our experience was the opposite. Tracy did my daughter's manicure and I had Yvonne. What happened to Julie?!?! Our appointment was with Julie! Anyways, Tracy was short and rude. She was also was rough with my daughter's manicure. The work wasn't great, leaving her nails very sharp and rough. Yvonne was very careful and meticulous with my manicure. She did a very good job in taking her time. However, she pulled part of my skin off and later sprayed it with alcohol that stung! Neither ladies also did not offer any refreshments. My daughter's manicure was $10 more than mine even though we both had the same exact service and same previous manicure to take off. Tracy stated that my daughter had structured gel. When we brought this up they explained the reason for the additional $10 and stated that I should have been charged the additional as well. But Yvonne did not charge me. One would think, to provide good customer and want repeat customers, they would overlook this inconsistency on their part. Luckily, I didn't have to wait long and was able to have my nails done by Helen! She is very detailed with her work and made sure my nail beds were clean & nicely shape. So very disappointed with this salon. My mother and sister have gone here since they've opened and I've always admired the work. I rarely do pedicures but when I do, I come here as well. My mom has ALWAYS gotten regular gel on her nails. 3 weeks ago she went in for a touch up/fill. The technician somehow managed to do poly gel which made the application of gel thicker. My mom just went with it but when she came home she shared she wasn't liking it. Which yes if she didn't want it she should have said but besides the point a week later her middle finger nail started lifting. We went back and they "fixed" it. Today we came back in because my mom showed me that there was some green looking stuff under her nail and that it was starting to lift again. I went in with my mom and explained to the owner what had happened. She even remember my mom from the first fix. I dropped my mom off to run some errands and she told me they charged her $20!! Yes it's only $20 but look at the state of her nail. They messed up in the first place and to charge after that was insane! We will not be coming back, such a shame, and no accountability. She was very sweet, meticulous and was able to replicate the inspiration photo closer than I was expecting! The salon also has a lot of options, from regular manis to structured gel, acrylic, and gel X (my choice). Front desk receptionist wasn't too helpful because she just told me to check in and she went to help someone else even though I was telling her about my appointment. I took a seat, waited for 20 minutes because I got there 30 minutes early, and she came up to me to say "Can I help you?" so I was confused. I had to explain to her again about my appointment and then was seated with Mary. I chose Mary because I read good reviews about her. She greeted me nicely and we went straight to work! Although she wasn't the most talkative, I preferred that because I'm reserved myself. She helped me find the perfect colors for what I wanted and was very detailed. I chose a color that I thought would look good but turned out it was too light so she chose a better, darker brown for me! She was also a perfectionist and wanted to do her best so she had to wipe the nails a few times so it would look good! I really appreciated it because she seems passionate in what she does.
