There is a lot going on in this place - part eyeglass shop, boba shop and game hangout spot. We thought we were in the wrong place at first since it was pretty dark inside and we saw all the glasses on the wall. Service/staff was really helpful and quick once they emerged from behind the curtain. It feels super crowded with all the chairs and tables for games. The people who own the shop is a family and the guy is always smiling and very friendly to all of the customers. They have games to play while you wait for your drinks. It is also a sunglasses show and they have some stuffed animals. They have loyalty stamp cards where after so many purchases you get a drink of your choice. I'll give this place 3.5 stars. When we parked, this place looks so dark at a glance, that I thought it was closed. When we walked in, it looked super cramped because couches and tables were everywhere and there was just a narrow walkway. There are lots of glasses, which I assumed they were an optometry place in the daytime and a tea business at night? But now that I read some reviews, I think the owner is doing both? But I would have no idea because there was no one working behind the eye glass counter. And if I asked the guy at the boba counter to help me with glasses, who would be managing the tea counter? The menu had a lot of things that you can mix and match as well as some preset items. The words were so small, it's hard to read, so I had to get to the counter to read it, which wastes time if there was a line. And it made me feel rushed. The guy recommended some drink, and I wouldn't remember what it was now because he just blurts out some drink name with different flavors and teas. I asked for less ice and he said it doesn't have much ice anyways because this isn't like a boba place (I mean they had boba), but he mentioned something about it being a healthcare place. My drink which I forgot its name, but I remembered it had guava and low caffeine, was good. It didn't have much ice. But I noticed our other drinks did have more ice, so I don't know why he didn't respond with an ok when I asked for less ice. My husband's drink, can't remember the name, had a weird taste, too fancy for us and can't remember what was inside. We wouldn't order it again. He recommended some butterfly tea for the kids. He said it had no caffeine. I remember reading a review saying drinks were around $6, but our drinks have to be somewhere between $7 and $8 because the total was mid 20s for 3 drinks. Half the shop is for glasses and the other boba, interesting combination. I was surprised to learn they were out of boba mid afternoon on a Saturday, I guess it's a local favorite spot! The milk tea itself was perfectly fine, since it wasn't too sweet or watered down. However the boba was so mushy and soft that it was almost inedible. Boba should be soft and chewy in texture. We were chatting about what eachother was going to order and the cashier overheard us! So when we were ready to order, he already had our order ready on his cash register. I used my Yelp check in offer of 10% off and the total was $11.75 for a Guava Lava and a Scarlett Letter. I'm normally not a fan of blended drinks, but WOW. The taste of the Guava Lava was so good, I almost gasped after I drank it. I was really surprised that I liked it so much. The sweetness of the Guava, the creaminess of the yogurt, and the bits of aloe were so refreshing! The drink was amazing. The Scarlett Letter was just as good. It has their Strawberry Pom tea in it and the quality of the tea is very good. You can tell it was just brewed. Pairing the milk tea with the strawberry jelly was the perfect addition. They keep a variety of tea samples at their front counter and the cashier, who I assume was the owner, was very knowledgable about all of the teas. There's two main seats for board games and then 4 tables to play chess or just converse. Feels: You are surrounded by every day stores and local eateries. Once you walk inside you'll see an interesting setup as it's half optometry and half tea lounge. There are plenty of board games and tvs to watch. On the other side, it's a row of specs to try on. The vibes are family friendly, good for catch up sessions, food runs, or a quirky date night. FOOD: Cookies & Cream Macaron (Recommend) Huge size with good macaroon crusts. The ice cream was well put together. Blue Butterfly tea (Recommend) A nice blue color with an earthy herbal taste to it. This helped knock me to sleep. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The dude that worked their knew his stuff, the types of tea, effects, vitamins... impressive. Props to Duy. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. My husband and I got the Peachy Lychee with honey boba to share. The actual tea was decent... Very average but not as fruity as other fruit tea we've had elsewhere. But the worst part was the boba. I read another review that says it "melts in your mouth," but instead the boba was so soft that it smears in your mouth, which is quite strange and off-putting. The boba also didn't taste like much. I ended up just finishing the tea, while leaving the boba and lychee chunks at the bottom. I will note that the lychee chunks were not bad though. My family and I have been coming here for +5 years, we make a 40min commute like 3x a week! We love this place. The owner is cool. If you collect enough stamps, you get a plushie, I've collected 3 already. The tea is really good, my favorites are blue glacier, green rose, black rose, carnage, scarlet letter, dragon drink, and the tai tea. A lot of the low star comments mention the boba is mushy, it's not. The honey boba has a softer chew to it, if you like firm, go for the brown sugar or the jelly chews on the menu, you can even add basil seeds to any drink. You can also adjust the sweetness on the drink, I usually ask for 50-25% sweet and it's perfect. The place is really chill, seats everywhere, tables to drink the boba and play board games. The owner does run the place on his own, so if it's busy he'll let you know it might take him a while to get your drinks out. We've never had a complaint, will come here forever:) read more

Oof. People are nice but the boba is not. Don't know if the tea is old or what, but couldn't taste it. We were the only real customers at the time and it took a really long time for the drinks to be made. Once received, it just tasted like sweet water. There were some other people in the store playing the games they offer, but only 1 person had a drink and it was a jug of cranberry juice from the grocery store. They seemed to have been friends of the people working at the store as they all ventured off into the back room at some point. Had a craving for boba and wanted to try a place we hadn't been to in Morgan Hill. So, I sent my hubby here and asked for the "Can't believe it's not butterfly" with honey boba. It's lavender organic green tea limeade with blue butterfly tea, basil seeds & goji berries- sounds good, right? The tea itself was really pretty, two toned purple and yellow. The goji berries were super plump lol, never seen them like that before! Unfortunately, the tea was really disappointing ... I think the limeade overpowered the tea and the boba was way too soft. These mediocre places are frequent, so I was mainly coming here for the novelty of a teatomitist (?) shop. The options they have here are actually quite appealing, and it took me a couple minutes to decide. I ended up ordering a fruit tea with boba. Now, I can't speak to the quality of the tea, as I'm unsure if they brew it themselves. I do know that the flavor of my tea was fantastic, and the basil seeds and boba added the perfect texture. This is because the basil seeds and jelly weren't frozen (if they even freeze them), and because the boba was properly cooked. But, wow, they had all the top brands of lenses and frames, really pleased to find this place. They have a great selection of designer styles, all the latest 'hip' glasses (is that still a word?), and got exactly what I wanted here (Polarized set for outdoors, transitions for daily use, and designer for special occasions). Moreover, I learned more about eyewear in the 45 minutes here than I have in 30+ years of wearing glasses. Duy ('Dewey') is amazing. Also he didn't oversell the products. My prescription is light and so he recommended just the regular anti-glare etc, and saved me some coin. Really nice guy, genuine, knows his eyewear (trained/certified) and also his passion for tea. I wasn't planning to have a tea, but I did, and WOW it was delicious too. The boba they make is unique here. I've gone to plenty of different tea houses in the bay area and LA county and this place is the best I've been too. They're incredible nice and very professional. The tea is so good and they can make anything you want. I recommend going here 100%. Eyefinitea had put up barriers and divider to ensure proper distancing. Outdoor seatings are available. They even have a special door handle to enter the store. As for the glasses, every pair that have been tried on will be sanitized with soap and water, then UVC light. We were on our route to Monterey Bay and found this gem. First things first, it is super weird to actually see a optic shop - like there is no relation whatsoever and went into the store with lot of speculation about how it would be and to our surprise it turned out to be one of the best bobas we ever had. The owner/person taking orders was super friendly, in fact he explained each drink so much and was suggesting so many things that we actually thought he was overselling stuff but when the drinks came, we were astonished, the drink was good but the tapioca balls/boba were so soft and fresh they literally melted in the mouth. Every bite felt magical, they also wide variety of toppings and you can actually customise it in so many ways. And mind you, take the owners suggestions with the drink, he is pretty on point! We were on our way to Gilroy Gardens for an event that was about to start at 6pm. I was little hungry and was thinking of having something sweet. And from quite sometime, I have been thinking of a having a boba tea. So on our way, I searched for nearby boba tea places and this place showed up with all 5 star reviews. I thought it will be great idea to try it out :) We went there and realized that it is an optometry store with the tea place inside it. Reluctantly we went in and looked at the menu. There were good number of options for a store running 2 businesses. After talking to the server, I decided to get Oolong tea and customized it. It came with the green tea with mango syrup. I asked them to add 25% sugar instead of 100%. And I got aloe vera added to my drink. I love boba but sometimes I like to go with the healthy options ;) I loved the idea of put 25% or 50% or 75% or 100% sugar. It is a great way to control the sugar consumption. They have sugar syrup at the counter and if you think you ended up with less sugar than you can add more. There were a lot of options including black/green tea, different fruit syrups, boba or aloe vera, creamer or non-creamer. I am new to the concept of boba teas so I am not sure what tea to mix with which syrup. So can't say if Oolong tea was my favorite. Once I try few more, may be I will know ;) The drink came in 5-7 minutes and it tasted good. Meanwhile, one of their employee started showing me the frames, glasses and sunglasses. I am not looking to buy any glasses currently at the moment. However, it is good to know more details about different brands.
