Matcha Einspanner ($8.35), Strawberry Tornado with Boba ($7.80), Banana Pudding Matcha ($9.35)
    Allison L.

Heard good things about their matcha so stopped by while in the area! Was a little busy around 2PM on a weekday, took about 10 minutes for our drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating was full so we took our drinks to go[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Banana pudding matcha (4.5/5): strong and the banana pudding was actual pudding and not just a cream! It didn't overpower the matcha and the 75% default sweetness was perfect. I would definitely get this one again Matcha einspanner (3/5): got it at the default 50% sweetness and would've liked it to be sweeter. It tasted more milky and not very flavorful at first. Once it mixed in, I could taste more of the vanilla but the matcha taste still wasn't that prominent compared to the banana pudding matcha

Came around 2 pm on a weekday and there was no line to order at the self kiosk. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Drinks came out in about 10 mins and space is pretty small with a few tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] -Banana pudding matcha einspanner (4.5/5): tasty and creamy! 75% sweetness was the default which I thought was a perfect sweetness. The banana pudding tasted like real banana and wasn't overly sweet! Matcha was nicely strong and rich -Matcha einspanner (3/5): 50% sweetness was the default which was a bit bitter and could be sweeter, it was creamy and the matcha was strong but the cream lacked flavor I only took a sip of the strawberry tornado with boba at 75% sweetness but my parents said it could be sweeter and that the boba was kinda soft.

This is one of if not my favorite matcha spots in the bay. In love with their einspanner.

I had heard a lot about Cere Tea on social media and wanted to try so we headed over on a Saturday at around 10:30 am to get some drinks. They had some classic to flavors of matcha on their menu such as mango and strawberry that sounded good. Strawberry Matcha Einspanner - I opted for the einspanner because I wanted something on the sweeter side. The cream on the top was so fluffy and textured, it was enjoyable to scoop up with the small spoon. Mixed all together, the matcha flavor came through really well and was enhanced by the sweetness of the strawberry. I have gone back to get the same strawberry matcha einspanner a couple times and it hits every time. I would highly recommend going for their drinks especially if you need a little sweet treat or pick me up.

I know what ceré tea is famous for, but my favorite is Hojicha Latte, smells good and tastes good, too. service is quick without too long waiting. The shop has some chairs and tables if you like to sip your drink and chat with your friends.

Cere Tea is a matcha lover's dream. There are so many different kinds of matcha drinks available! While this location is pretty far down in South Bay, they've started to slowly expand to places like Milpitas, Burlingame, and even San Francisco. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store itself is quite small but there are a small number of tables that you can sit down and enjoy your drink at, but because it's so small and the limited number of tables, the tables are often occupied.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I always get the matcha einspanner. The matcha flavor is super strong, the cream topping is super fluffy and smooth - it's a thick drink for sure. Matcha lovers, I highly recommend checking out Cere if you're near one of their locations!

Sunny side up Matcha Einspanner $7.75

We came here after hearing about it so much that I finally had to try. Absolutely no regrets. This is one of those elevated matcha experiences that sets the bar for all other spots. Here's what we got: **Sunny Side Up Matcha Einspanner $7.75: A vibrant matcha base topped with a dollop of silky whipped cream, finished with a sunny side up 'egg' where the yolk is a sweet mango syrup. This drink had me saying "Oh wow!" after taking the first sip. After the second sip, it was "Was that a really ripe mini chunk of fresh mango?" This was so well executed that it felt effortless. It wasn't overly sweet-- the Matcha and the Mango flavors blended together beautifully yet you could make out the flavors of both. I usually scoff at how expensive drinks are these days but I could justify the price on this. **Black Sesame Coffee Einspanner $7.50: Signature espresso drink with our house-made Black sesame cream with your choice of milk. Another hit. I love Black Sesame and when I can find it, I order. This was also on par with the Sunny Side up because of how distinctly flavorful it was. You can taste the nuttiness of the black sesame seeds. Add in the espresso and it makes for a coffee that you could gulp down. Both of these drinks are dangerous because if it was up to me, I could have probably drank these both in under 5 minutes. Sigh.

Came back to try their Guave Lemon Tea with 75% sweet (recommended by the staff) and it is much better. Their drink menu is pretty unique. They have drinks that you don't usually see at other tea places. This is the tea place to come if you want unique and flavorful drinks. Will come back to try other drinks.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]On a weekday afternoon, Cere Tea's seats were filled with people enjoying their drinks, but thankfully there was no line.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered on a kiosk and waited several minutes for my order. Their Cheese Brulee Tiger Boba Milk was delicious! The cheese taste complimented the more sweet and rich brown sugar boba and caramel topping. Service was friendly and fast!

Sunny side up matcha einspanner, Strawberry Matcha einspanner, Hibiscus Strawberry Tea, Double Matcha
    Lynne N.

Cere Tea is my go-to place for delicious, strong matcha. The Double Matcha (with 70% sweetness) is my favorite drink there, but you can't go wrong with any of their matcha drinks. Even though recommended sweetness is 50%, I think 70% sweetness is perfect since I feel 50% is a bit too bitter for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Interior is small with a couple of seats and you can order or the kiosk[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Matcha Einspänner
    Prath C.

We came on a weekday morning after lunch. There was little wait and we were able to order pretty quickly, however a line formed after we ordered. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is cute but there is limited space inside to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Matcha Einspänner with 25% sugar, oat milk sub, easy ice and the regular 1 shot of matcha. The whipped cream at the top was delicious and not too sweet! The matcha part was also delicious but could use a bit more sugar, 25% was too little. I love that there are sugar, milk sub and ice options. Overall, I enjoyed my drink and will be back in the future to try other drinks on the menu!

Did Ceremony Tea rebrand to Ceré Tea and if so, was there a change in ownership? I really liked the owner of Ceremony so I hope not, but willing to give this new place a shot.

Ambience: The shop is not tidy and has a lot of random objects/decorations around; for instance, Christmas decorations and posters that are peeling off. There are also signs that are leaned against the wall in customer areas, like it is an extension of their store storage space. The lack of tidiness & cleanliness made me apprehensive to touch anything and it is certainly not welcoming. I don't even want to imagine how their kitchen area is upkept if they can barely manage their public space. Drinks: My partner and I ordered the white peach boba milk tea and the tiger milk tea. It's really nothing special and it befuddles me that there is high praise for the quality of their drinks. The tea flavour is not strong, nor is the boba made with quality in mind as it was hard in the center. I'm under the assumption that their fruit teas are front-loaded with artificial syrups since that's what the white peach resembled. Price: To compromise quality, the price point is the selling factor. Boba priced around $5-$7 is a rarity these days, but this shop does it. Just know that you're paying for lesser quality in your order. Customer Service: Wow, that needs work. The other review was not kidding about their employees and how they communicate. Customer interactions can heavily change the view of the store and will make/break the experience. With this already broken experience being topped by their employee "communication," I'm surprised they have returning customers. There are a plethora of better boba shops in the same area. I reckon you opt for those if you value strong tea flavour, better customer service, and---most importantly---a store that values cleanliness.
