So, I'm new to the area and was looking for a new eyeglass store. I walked in and explained that I…read morewanted to take a look at their frames. However, the woman at the door insisted that she start a file for me and I would need to give her my prescription. I explained that I was just checking out the frames and that if I found something I liked, I would give her my prescription and begin the process. Unfortunately, she refused. She claimed that if I wouldn't give her my prescription, I couldn't look at eye glass frames. Wow! That creepy introduction to your store was enough to run me off. To make matters worse, I never got past the front door after your bouncer refused my entrance without giving her my eye glass prescription. WHO DOES THAT? I left, shocked and annoyed, BUT MOSTLY BEWILDERED. AGAIN, who does this??? I got in my car and went to three other eyeglass shops where they greeted me warmly and invited me to look at their frames (with no demand for anything up front). I did, and I found a great pair at the third store! It went like a normal visit to an eye glass store.... Go in, peruse, find something you like, someone sits down with you, you go over insurances with them, cost, options, fitting, etc..... You know....like the way an eyeglass shop works... The manager or employee who refused me looking at eye glass frames, should be fired. Your store just lost a $696.00 sale because you employ an unbelievably rude and overstepping employee. Avoid this place. Go where they make you feel like a valued, POTENTIAL, customer, AND not demand your prescription at the freaking front door!

The staff are incredibly kind. My boyfriend had a medical emergency and they helped us, providing water, saltine crackers, ginger ale and a quiet front porch to rest on free of charge. Their kindness truly salvaged our day, and we managed to make it to our evening appointment where he proposed to me! I cannot thank these wonderful folks enough!

I walked in without an appointment, and was able to walk out less than 2 hours later with a new prescription, a new pair of glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses for under $500. The staff at the vision center and the attached Lenscrafters were very efficient and friendly. All of the equipment was very modern which made the whole process fast and painless. i was very satisfied overall. Probably a bit more expensive than going to Walmart, but well worth the extra!

I know I have tricky eyes with a difficult astigmatism that really drives my crazy, and he is very diligent making sure I get the right contacts. I was diagnosed with shingles and was afraid it was in my eye. I called Dr Ben's office and they got me in immediately, and let me tell you what I am SO THANKFUL. Dr Ben was the first of 4 dr's I saw in attempt to get it diagnosed and under control asap and he was by far the most knowledgeable about the whole situation. He gave me a crash course on what was happening and why, the layout of the nerves in my face, told me what to expect, gave me prescriptions, gave me advice, told me about over the counter remedies, and reassured me. I left his office feeling confident and prepared, and in addition to that when I realized the lever of care he had provided me after the other 3 drs gave me minimal info and brushed me off, I sat on the sofa and cried. I am so thankful I transferred here and I am so thankful to Dr Ben and his team for all they have done for me so far!

When I went to Walmart to get a price on contacts I handed the prescription to them & it was for glasses. It took over 45 min of continuous calling MyEyeDr to finally get them to fax it over to Walmart, their excuse why it took so long was that they were having trouble faxing it. What a lame excuse! I feel they intentionally did not give me the correct contact prescription & making me wait for it to be faxed for over 45 min was because they were angry I wasn't buying the contacts from them. Buyer beware they are more interested in money than they're interested in pleasing their customers! Walmart had WAY cheaper prices in contacts & glasses! I will not be going back to them next year for an eye exam.

It's a Store and a office. The receptionist as well as the doctor were incredibly kind. They took their time and gave great detail. There was a little bit of a confusion with what I owed in terms of my insurance. Unfortunately it was a more expensive price. Still just a co-pay though. And they loaded me with tons of samples. They also prescribed me something for my eye, and they gave me the generic version so it will be more affordable. Really appreciate that. Would recommend

I noticed that I was having problems reading road signs. I was seeing double. The "other" place did not take ownership of this problem. Instead, they stated my eyes had changed some and gave me a new prescription. We are only talking about 3 months so I doubt my eyes had changed at all if any. I was looking at paying for over $300 for new glasses again. When I talked with Walmart Vision Center, they stepped up to the plate and told me that would replace them free of charge. My hats off to Walmart Vision Center, especially Holly and April, who made my day much better. Today I went into Walmart Vision Center to have a replacement bow repaired on my glasses. The woman…read morehad replaced the bow two weeks prior. The woman took my glasses into the back and when she returned she said she couldn't fix them. When she handed my glasses back to me they were missing the entire bow and hinge. I told her that I had to have the parts so I could at least try to glue them so I had something to wear. She huffed and went back into the back. This time when she came out she said she couldn't find the hinge because she had thrown it in the trash. When she saw that I was dismayed she said "well, it was mine anyway" and turned and walked away. We then went to Dr. Tim Anderson at Professional Vision Center. They were so kind and helpful and happily repaired my glasses with a new bow and hinge. Five minutes later we walked out with my glasses repaired, adjusted and cleaned at no cost. Do not waste your time going to a cut rate place like WalMart Vision Center.

My calls were not returned. I puchased glasses and contacts at initial appointment a previous review, clients are NOT a priority. Staff chat while I am waiting to be acknowledged. One of the least professional offices I gave ever visited.

We knew his vision was becoming increasingly worse, but found that things were even more serious than we knew. After the examination and photos taken of the retina, we were told that she was going to make a referral to a Retina Specialist in our area, as things were even more serious than we ever thought! By her diligence and dedication to her profession, she got us in to see the specialist, later that afternoon! We are so grateful to Dr. Brown for recognizing the seriousness of my husband's condition and responding appropriately. We highly recommend Dr. Brown at the Risk EyeCare Center at Walmart!
