Came in today for lunch and wanted to try a few things. Chili Cheese Fries SMALL were HUGE! Definitely had leftovers. Had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings my guest had a regular hamburger with zucchini. The fries were not only good, but even to share was alot leftover. Burgers weren't bad. I prefer the onion rings over the zucchini. Staff were nice, friendly and accommodating. 1st, Grand Burger is not cheap which I don't mind if the food is prepared well. I ordered a carne asada taco. Simple? I guess I should have asked what came in it but almost always, it's meat, pico de gallo and maybe guacamole or a guac sauce. This one came with carne asada and cheese. That's it! But my gripe is the corn tortilla which was not grilled or heated up at all. Do you know how tough and dry a tortilla like that is? Totally ruined the taco. Come on now Grand Burger! You should know how to prepare a simple Carne Asada taco. Since I door dashed it, I only found out when I opened it. The owner here is a joke and has no customer skills. I ordered food for my family and when I got home I realized they forgot an item. I called to make sure we were on the same page and proceeded to head to pickup my missing item. The owner who was hiding behind his workers said I had to bring all the food back to receive my missing item. They should have told me this beforehand. I told him I'll drive back to my house where my family was already eating and bring back all the food for a refund on everything. All this over one missing burger. We've been coming here for years and I'll be sure to never spend my money here again. read more

Decided to try a new burger place after driving past this one quite often. I got a double cheese burger combo and it's was pretty good. The patties had very little flavor to me but I'm thinking it was because I was just getting over a cold so my taste buds were all off but it was still good. I visited to experience the Pastrami Melt after seeing the I.E. Explorer's positive critique. I'm guessing I came in a bad day. The bread was toasted but soggy because it was wheat bread instead of sourdough. There was no cheese on it to make it a melt and the meat was chopped to a minced texture. Fries were ok, though hot and seasoned well. I don't see value in this 20$ combo, I'll stick with The Hat. read more

The chili burger only had a tiny amount of chili on it for $8.99 that's not good, tuna melt was on the wrong bread really greasy and barely toasted, fries were mushy and half fried, chicken pita was really salty and overcooked. They are not that busy at all and yet these employees are incapable of completing a simple order. Do I dare ask...... how hard is your job? The food is okay, thats pretty much the only redeeming thing. I've been twice now and both times I asked for a burger with no onions. BOTH times they gave me little chopped up onions that are difficult to spot and take off. On top of that the employees attitude are rude. Alright! For all the times I've ordered at Grand Burger, I have not been disappointed by the food. Their Large Chili Cheese Fries are obviously massive and practically overflowing. Their breakfast burrito with Asada and sour cream added (upon request) is very filling and tasty! The Cons to this restaurant really overall is just their prices. The food here is generally pretty good. However, do NOT order the steak sandwich! I've tried it twice and both times it was terrible. They asked, "How do you want it cooked?" That is a joke. The steak was very thin and full of fat and gristle. Impossible to cook medium rare. Even if the meat was good, still not worth $14.99 in my opinion. Having tried the Grand Burger in Covina many years ago with my family, back when my wife and father were still with us, my daughter and I decided to give this Grand Burger location a try. It didn't disappoint. Though the family memories still bring on heartache. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was nice and clean, a little different from my memory of the other location, but an enjoyable place to eat and watch the NBA playoffs, which were on the large televisions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was very nice. My daughter has special needs and often has difficulty making decisions and conveying her wishes to people, so I let the person know, and they were very accommodating. I'm trying to teach my daughter to be as independent as she can be, and it's great when the people you're working with try to help. The service was fast; we barely sat with our drinks when our server brought our food. That cheeseburger was spot on perfect, with a loaded plate of onion rings. My daughter had a sandwich that she barely got to because of the volume of perfectly cooked fries covering her plate. We shared fries and onion rings, I paid more attention to my burger then tapped out letting her have the remainder of the rings. My husband and I enjoy the breakfast burritos here and get them at least twice a month, more so for my husband but the thing my husband likes the most is the Heinz Taco Sauce and Grand Burger is one of the few locations that have them in stock. When he asked for taco sauce today, he noticed it was a different brand and we asked for the Heinz brand. Unfortunately, we were informed they had switched taco sauce brands :( What happened next was small but significant and just goes to show why we will keep coming back to Grand Burger. As we were heading to our car, one of the workers comes after us, with a handful of Heinz Taco Sauce. The workers ended up checking and found a box of the Heinz Taco Sauce.
