Baby is on the way so one crucial step is getting our carpets as clean as possible. So glad I went with these guys! First off, Bill has to be one of the nicest people in the service industry I've ever met. He was very responsive to my phone call and worked with my early schedule which allowed me to have my apartment cleaned on a Monday before work. When we moved in to our apartment two years ago we had the company that our complex uses clean the carpets. The huge stains in the spare bedroom and dining room that came with the place seemed to go away temporarily, but quickly returned. Bill's steam cleaning system got them out of the spare bedroom (future baby's room) and the dining room! Carpets look amazing, my only regret is living with those huge embarrassing stains for so long. We have a pretty big apartment - by Santa Monica Standards - and it cost $125 for the spare bedroom, living room, hallway and dining room (left our bedroom alone so we had a place to store furniture during the cleaning). Bill is very knowledgeable and informative. Whole thing took less than 45 minutes for him and his partner from setup to finish, and carpets were dry by the time we got home from work 9 hours later. I bought a Groupon to EZ Carpet Cleaning. We had two rooms and one hallway cleaned. Our appointment was scheduled between 7:30AM/7:45AM. (You can see how early they start!) Bill was a little bit late due to traffic, arriving around 8:10AM, which wasn't terrible. He got started right away. We live in an apartment building so he needed to pull his van into our garage to get as close as he could to our apartment. He ran his equipment up the stairs to our apartment and got cleaning while I continued to get ready for work. They weren't bothersome at all and the whole process took about 45 minutes. (It was a two person team.) I did end up needing to leave about ten minutes before they were done to go to work. I left Bill with my garage door opener so he could exit my garage. When I returned home, the carpet looked great! I am really happy with the product for the price. Bill left us booties to wear around while the carpet dried. It was mostly dried anyway but we still wore them just to be safe. The only thing we didn't appreciate was that he left all the lights on. Oh well. When you call, you will most likely get the voicemail. Bill gets back to you rather quickly after you leave a message though. Don't despair. All in all, this was a great experience and I am considering hiring him again to clean my upholstery, especially since he said he would continue to honor the Groupon price! read more

So, I got a Groupon. 50 for 2 rooms and a hall way if I'm correct. I was surprised that this was a steam cleaning instead of carpet shampoo.. The guy that did come has somewhat nice.. (I thought he was coming around 11-12 and not at 10) but he said he left a voicemail after we had talked the day before. Original plan was to wake up @ 10 and clean but it was more like wake up clean the house and let him in. The place was messy since I wasn't able to clean the night before due to a messed up ankle. He was nice to pick up a few strays here and there..However, he kept telling me I'm suppose to clean up atleast 3 hours before arrival and I kept telling him my ankle was messed up as he kept mentioning it. He got through most the stains and did a good job. The only thing that turned me off was that he did charge me an extra 15 to get the foot of the bedroom door cleaned.. All I needed was the living room, front of the kitchen, hall way (which is VERY small) and the foot of 1 bedroom door cleaned...sigh.. (keep in mind that it is a small apartment. Was it worth it? I'm still a bit bias. 65 for all that. I look @ other companies and for the amount covered it still wouldve been cheaper. For now I think I will stick to my regular cleaners... read more

He was in and out of my place in 20 mins flat, carpets immaculate and are smelling fresh and clean (not like chemicals). Dry time was the best part for me - carpet wasn't left sopping wet so it was completely dry in 24 hours, as promised. I booked an appointment for a Thursday. Bill calls at 8:30am to confirm. Five minutes later he calls and says his machine is in need of repair and has to take it to San Bernardino, we agree he will call me back when the unit is repaired, he says three or four hours. Did not hear from him on Thursday, I left a message on Friday, it is now seven days later, and he is still MIA. I had my carpet cleaned by another service. Bill is a one man operation and I understand equipment breaks, but no attempt to reschedule makes this a hit or miss business. Some folks had a good experience I did not. read more

I called Bill on the last day of the month because I was moving out of my old rental, and the landlord was giving me my full deposit back if I had the carpets cleaned myself. Bill and his friend were able to squeeze me in just a little while later, and they arrived in the hour he predicted. He was really, really friendly and did an amazing job. good luck even getting these people to clean your carpets. If is almost impossible to get someone on the phone, and they do not want to come out and give you an estimate. The woman I talked to said they would only give me a an estimate right before they cleaned our carpets. When I explained we were a business (and nearby) and would have to get it approved before they did it (and I needed it to be cleaned when people weren't here), she said it sucked to be me. Was hesitant because all the good reviews here were written by people with only a few reviews. But I actually am very happy with the service. I got a Groupon where 2 rooms (I don't have a hallway) is $50 and stairs are extra $35 each, so I paid extra $70. I called to make an appointment and the proprietor (Bill) called back right away and was able to come in within a week. They were prompt and took exactly an hour as he estimated. Bill was very polite and professional. The carpets are very clean with absolutely no chemical smell. According to Bill, it is safe for kids and pets since they use steam technology. They were able to completely lift all the dirt off my high traffic stairs and restore its original white color. Overall, I am very happy with the service, which is more than I can say for the last cleaners I had. I would recommend them to my friends and since he offered to honor the same Groupon price for next time, I will definitely call him on a biannual basis. This is a guy who realize the true power to Groupon. He understands Groupons are there to drum up new business and hopefully loyalty, and if you treat Groupon holders like crap, as so many businesses out there, it defeats the purpose of offering a Groupon to begin with. read more
