Albert and Ken were PROMPT, pleasant, and thorough. It took them nearly 3 hours to do 4 area rugs. Albert left at one point to get a special device for wrangling all the dog hair. Her hair is epic. They were sweet with my dog. They cleaned the rugs IN my house. Previous companies I've used take them away and bring them back when they've dried. That is inconvenient for me because it means 2 appointments. They put the furniture back and left me 2 industrial blowers to help hasten the drying. The rugs look great. NO more stains. Wish I could give zero stars for the complete disregard Albert showed me, not once but three times! I scheduled Albert to clean my mattress, couch and a number of chairs. He was specifically scheduled to come before my cleaning crew so the cleaning crew would have clean areas to work (ie. an area to fold clean laundry). The first time I scheduled Albert was a Thursday. He called to say he couldn't come and that the next morning would be better. So I rescheduled my cleaning crew. 8A Friday morning came and went. Not only did Albert not show up, he didn't respond to my calls until 2 1/2 hours later, only to say that his crew would be here eventually. Albert knew straight up that he was scheduled first for a reason. So again I had to cancel my cleaning crew. Albert swore he himself would come at 8A on Saturday. Again I rescheduled my cleaning crew and low and behold, good old Albert didn't show up. It's now 3 hours past his arrival time, my cleaning crew will be here in an hour and big surprise, Albert hasn't even bothered to call me. I came back to Yelp feverishly searching for another company that could come out last minute. And luckily I found one. They managed to get here in 30 minutes and are as I'm writing this, tackling the job. I'll review them in another post. Albert was not only completely disrespectful of my time but also that of the cleaning crew. He seemed to be confused as to what the procedure was to clean mites out of a mattress or couch and told me his mentor told him how to do it. Bottom line: If he felt unqualified to do the job, he should have said as such instead of wasting everyone's time. He is THE most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with and I have booked cleaning crews to clean locations after filming for 30 years in the entertainment industry. Holy Cow! My wife was drinking her daily homemade fresh fruit smoothie in our bedroom, when for no reason, the bottom of her glass broke apart from the rest of her glass and broke. The smoothie saturated the bed, sheets and mostly the Berber carpet in our bedroom. It was Sunday morning January 1. Who could we possibly find to come out on a Sunday and a holiday to try and clean this mess. I went to Yelp and started calling all the carpet cleaners. Only one person called me back. Albert. It was ten minutes later. He told me not to worry and that his men would be out later in the day to see what they could do. I was thrilled. But at what price? I asked Albert for a quote. He asked me to text him a photo of the spill. He called me back and quoted a shockingly low price. I had my doubts. Big doubts. I said sure give it a shot. His men came and worked their magic. There is no evidence of any spill on the carpet. I cannot recommend Albert and his company enough. Nice guy, responsive and reasonably priced. The triple play...and just as rare. read more

Talk about convenience, I'm fortunate to have Prestigious Carpet Cleaning right in my neighborhood. Yesterday at the last minute I contacted Albert the owner to see if he could clean my carpeting as my home machine broke down shortly after I started. I had moved all the furniture needed to clean my carpeting and didn't want to put everything back with a poorly and partially finished job. Within a couple of hours Albert personally came to my apartment and redid the poor job I had left and then finished the whole job. You never realize just how dirty your carpet is until you have it professionally cleaned. Yikes, so embarrassed that I had let it get that bad. By the time Albert finished the job my carpeting looked like new again. I can now walk through my apartment with a clean pair of socks on and not have to change them before crawling into my bed that I just fitted with clean sheets. Albert and Ken came out on a HOLIDAY to clean the carpets of my one-bedroom apartment and did a great job, especially since in 22 years they had never been professionally cleaned. They're very friendly and attentive, and I plan on hiring them in the future to clean my linoleum floors and tile countertops. The only thing I would do differently next time is not have the large area sisal rug cleaned because it stayed too wet as well as the carpet underneath it, and I had to try to prop it up during the night over chairs, and with electric fans going to try and dry everything out. It's definitely cleaner, but it's been a big effort to get it dry since it's so heavy and I can't just hang it over something. read more
