I have come in for several issues, and for each injury, the therapists really want to find out your main goal so that they can create a treatment plan that gets you to that goal in the fastest, safest and most efficient way possible. I am now back playing soccer a couple of times a week, pain free!! They recently relocated to a bigger office space, which now has an elevator. They have 2 floors, with one floor dedicated solely to the gym which gives enough space for a lot of activity. First, the practice feels more like an outdated gym located on the second floor of a supermarket than a professional healthcare facility. My experience was negative from the start, and it quickly became clear that I needed to find a different provider. Not only did my condition fail to improve, but I also felt constant pressure to pay for unnecessary services and products. Before my very first treatment, the chiropractor strongly pushed me to get an in-house X-ray, completely ignoring the fact that I had already provided recent, high-quality imaging results. He insisted that treatment could not proceed without his specific in-house scan, which felt entirely like a revenue-generating tactic. As visits continued, I noticed that the exact same adjustment technique appeared to be used on every single patient regardless of their specific injury or location of pain, which made me seriously question the quality of individualized care. Furthermore, the chiropractor repeatedly pressured me both in person and via text message to purchase retail equipment from his office, implying that my lack of results was my own fault for not buying his products. When the constant sales pressure became excessive, I decided to stop treatment. Immediately after leaving the practice, the chiropractor, Dr. K., became angry and aggressive regarding the account balance, despite having already received payments. The heavy pressure to undergo unnecessary in-house procedures on day one should have been my warning sign. My emails have been left unanswered, texts have been left unresponded to, and the mailbox for every number for the office I have tried is full and hasn't been cleared for months. To start, I had a great experience until January of 2022, but afterwards, my experience with Got Your Back has been an absolute nightmare. While I paid up front for a 12-session treatment plan, I only received 8 treatment sessions before the office closed with the promise that Dr Klein would be in touch. Months have passed and I received no call from him. To add insult to injury, the office has sent repeated invoices for the treatment I already paid for despite me speaking with the billing office two months ago and them telling me to not worry and that it was simply a clerical error that they would be sorting out. Fast forward to this week, when they sent me a letter saying that I was delinquent on payments and they would transfer my (already paid) balance to a debt collection agency. They have been consistently unresponsive and unprofessional through this whole ordeal. I have received no offer of refund or completion of treatment plan, and instead been hounded for payment which was already processed months ago. Overall, it is a shame that GYBTH has come to this because the care was truly great beforehand. I only hope that this finally gets the attention of the office and catalyzes action. If not, I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.
