Ezee fiber came and did their install in my neighborhood a couple of weeks ago, and now I have fiber internet! Their pricing is great, the 8 gbs tier is the same price as xfinity's 2gb tier, and with much better upload speeds and free equipment. They ran the fiber to the exact room that I wanted and within 2 appointments (1 to run from the street to the outside of the house, and 1 from the outside of the house to the inside). I initially had an issue with not being able to access certain websites. The support team was super helpful, and I was escalated pretty much immediately to level 2 support. Sophe from the social media support team and Breanna(?) from the L2 team were particularly great at expediting and staying late to resolve my issue. So far, I'm very happy with Ezee. read more

The only reason they're getting an additional star is due to the excellent customer service I received from calling their customer service department. They've harassed me four separate times at home in one day, and after the third time of me telling them we're not interested the sales person pounded on my front door again to try to explain the value. I really wanted to go to EEZE as it was half the cost of ATT. But thus far whilst attempting to install "service" they've blocked my main sewage line and then cut my ATT fiber without being able to finish their install...leaving me offline. All after 2 days of staying home to accommodate the "EEZE" install process. I had to get ATT to come out to fix it. I don't like ATT but at least I'm online. Ezee Fiber came to the rescue after waiting for over a decade for High-Speed Fiber-Optic Internet in my area. I always despised my local cable internet company and often sought out alternatives but there were none until now. I am currently paying for the 1 GIG package and even though the speed is not quite what they advertise it's still twice the speed I was getting with Xfinity and at half the price. Besides that there are no data caps, and no intrusive messages popping up on my browser alerting me of my usage, and they will not charge me double if I exceed a Terabyte like my local cable internet company. I get it - they've supposedly gotten "permission" to install fiber in our neighborhood. What I don't get and where my problem lies is the complete disregard for one's property, lack of clear understanding of what an easement is, and the need to be so messy and careless that they destroy sprinkler heads, plants, and landscaping in the process. Our entire street - and I do mean entire - has had damage done to our property. The workers or contractors I've had the displeasure of encountering are not at all pleasant, pretend they don't speak a lick of English (until you start speaking Spanish in return), and are just plain unprofessional. As such, I could NEVER recommend them, nor would I ever patronize them. read more

NO LAG!? That's all we have 24/7. We can't watch a football game because it loses Internet connection and we're paying for the fastest. My son can't watch his homeschool videos or take his test. We called customer service and the guy was very rude. For some reason he kept getting confused. They did 2 updates and no improvement. And the app sucks! Most of the time you can't get into the app. We're going back to our old internet tomorrow! Especially after missing the Houston Texas playoffs. read more

Ezee Fiber so far has been reliable. They did have some hiccup when they first started in my area but now that I have it for a year, I find them more reliable than all the major internet companies. Most of the time when there's an internet issue in my house, I noticed the problem is usually in the equipment where a simple reboot resolves the issue. I feel like they are more willing to work with the customer than the bigger companies. Their price is usually competitive. If not, their customer service team will try to work with me to make sure I am satisfied. I recently reached out, chatted with Angel S., and she knew exactly what I wanted and resolved it quickly. We just switched over to EZ fiber from Comcast and so far we haven't had any issues and have had really good customer service from them. The person who did our install was great and spent 2 hours setting everything up. We made another appointment a week after because we needed the WiFi extender for our house. Avoid this company, as it is not really looking to improve its service, but they attempt to undermine their competitors. In our community, it has been several times that, when they dig for their own lines, they "accidentally" cut other companies fiber cables. When they do a lot, people start to feel that it might not be really accident. It could be a dirty trick. read more

Worst customer service. I've worked in call centers and it's obvious when you're being thrown around and ignored. This "business" doesn't care about you, they just want your money. I signed up for a free 3-month trial period with the intent to cancel my other internet provider. At the 2-month mark Ezee decided they would charge my account almost $100 for service. A service that was supposed to be free for another month. I call, let them know the monthly cost is just too much compared to my current provider, and cancelled. They tried to apply credits, but they still couldn't come close. So I cancelled and was told I would get a call the following day to process the refund on the charge. They set up a guy to come out and pick up the equipment, and that was that. Except I never got a call back from anyone regarding the refund for the charge that shouldn't have happened. I called, was told the manager was in a meeting and would call me back. All day went by. I called at the end of the day, was apologized to but she's still in a meeting. Was told she leaves at 6pm and I should get a call back before then. Nothing. I let the whole next day go by and still nothing. I call back, get a new guy being shadowed with a more senior agent, and was told that the charge stands. Well, NO, but thanks for the suggestion. Now they're changing their story and telling me I signed up for a 2-month period and not 3. This is a lie, and I need a manager to talk to. Guess what, she's in a meeting. But I'm told she'll call today. The ENTIRE DAY WENT AGAIN. I called at the end of the day and asked to just skip the BS and transfer me straight to the manager. Of course she didn't answer. But I left a detailed voicemail of the situation and that I need a call back today. This was three days ago. I'm now pursuing legal action. I really wanted to come back to this company after my financial situation changes and I don't care quite so much about the monthly. But now there's no way I'll ever come back. read more

We have had no outages, and I'm so happy to be finally rid of Comcast (we were with Comcast for about 30 years of constantly increasing prices and decreasing customer service). Installation: Their subcontractors did some digging in our front yard easement for connecting the neighborhood, and afterwards we called them back to replace the sod. For our service they ran shallow fiber under the driveway and through the lawn to a box on the side of the house, and another installer came out and ran a fiber from that box through the attic (with my help) to the desired fiber modem & router location. I connected my own router because we also have a hardwired Ethernet LAN in the house and the provided Eero Pro 6E only has WiFi. Customer service: Ezee Fiber answered the phone every time I've called them and their reps speak good English. (This has been amazing compared to Comcast's automated system and foreign reps.) Cost: The Ezee Fiber monthly rate is locked in and includes the modem, router, and taxes, and you can auto-pay with a cash-back credit card for no additional fees (unlike Comcast). First month was free (ask for it when you call). Speed: We signed up for the 1Gbps service and speed tests show about 950Mbps for BOTH upload & download on a desktop computer connected through our router (compared to our previous Comcast with ~50Mbps upload speed). For our phones, speed is very dependent on distance from the WiFi router and other apps running on the phone. TV: Ezee Fiber provides internet only, so we had to go full streaming for TV. We switched from Comcast TV to SlingTV Blue with unlimited DVR (streaming using a Roku or FireTV stick or Smart TV). We added an AirTV box for recording local channels via Sling. (We previously time-shifted by recording to our own Tivo-like PVR through a CableCard but Comcast stopped supporting CableCards.) In our case, the Comcast "customer retention" rep cancelled our TV service as well, seemingly out of spite, when we switched our internet service to Ezee Fiber. Just as well. Voice: For our house phone we switched from Comcast VOIP to an Ooma VOIP device connected to our cordless phone base station, which is working fine. We're saving more than $70/month after switching from Comcast's lowest-speed Internet/TV/Voice to 1G Ezee Fiber/Sling/Ooma, saving electricity (no cable box or cable amp), and now paying with our credit card again for cash back. read more

This company went cheap with their labor and managed to disrupt water service to not just my street but three other streets. Water has been out for a couple hours now and just heard that they don't know where the leak is...that THEY MADE!! There was no courtesy notice sent. Just arriving home after work hoping to use our home at the end of a workday but there IS ZERO WATER SERVICE because their lack of competence in what Ezee Fiber should be professionals at. I called the construction number and got a "construction ticket number " from someone I couldn't understand their name. Shayla? She promised someone would get back to me. The sales process was very easy and free of sales tactics. All my questions were answered. As a parent with a household of teenagers who are gamers, we've definetly put the service to the test and it's been rock solid. No buffering or lag during any heavy usage. Before switching I spent sometime researching and reading reviews online and was optimistic. Now that i've been using it I can share that it was nothing but a great decision. My package level is a 2Gb which for that price when compared to my other options are much cheaper. Also having local support is also a plus.
