The EzeeFiber contractors did horizontal drilling to get the backbone placed in our neighborhoods utility easements. Messy but they cleaned up and repaired vegetation that was disturbed. With vaults in we just had to wait for installation a few weeks later. Last week was it! Luiyi was our installer and he did a great job! Very good communication about what he would be doing. Yes, it sucks to have new lines being installed in a neighborhood, but those are subcontractors and that's just how construction goes!! Its messy, intrusive and makes people angry. But the end result is great! They busted a line on my street but had it fixed in a matter of minutes and were super friendly and cleaned up afterwards. The Internet!!! Finally!!!! A fast reliable internet that doesn't cost a fortune and require $300 worth of useless television!! Update: Was going to give a better rating after receiving a call from Ezee. They rest assured me that it would get fixed. After sending several more pictures and emails, nothing has changed. With the exception of they fixed the yards on both sides of my property. Added grass, but still no cleanup. After seeing the shoddy job they did in applying the sod, I fixed their mess myself. My neighbors will have standing water in their yards due to them not leveling the area and filling in the holes before applying the sod. Someone may also fall into the holes and break an ankle. But then again, Ezee doesn't care.. They still need to clean the streets of the mud and in some cases debris they left. Worst experience ever. read more

To be honest I was excited to finally have fiber but the service is beyond bad. For reference prior to ezee fiber i was under AT&T's 50Mbps plan (yes 50 Mbps) and believe it or not, I never had an issue in terms of connectivity or wifi stopping. Ezee fiber has been having rampant problems in my areas regarding their internet, and all they can do is you call them, they send a technician, the technician doesn't find a problem with internet speed and leaves. When in fact when I show them the speed test being low on another device (i.e. a laptop, or a TV streaming device), they blame the actual device saying it can only handle a certain speed, if that's the case then why did we never have this issue with AT&T 50 Mbps plan lol. The owner will probably respond to this review by telling me to reach out to support and calling them, and the cycle continues they send a tech, a tech finds no issues, says there is nothing he/she can do and leaves. FYI I know about 3 people in my area enrolled with Ezee fiber, all three that I know are having the same issue. read more

You might want to rethink the third party you have installing your fiber lines. As others have mentioned, they have made a mess of our entire area with their digging. They came pretty close in having to replace our fence. If you understand the frustration, why don't you fix the issue?! Maybe have someone in charge, overseeing that property's are left like they found them!! read more

I wish I could leave negative stars. I understand they have permission to install in our subdivision. The easement we don't own but are required to maintain. We also have sprinklers there. They have complete disregard on your yard. Mine had been dig up 4 times now, last week they drove their equipment up in my yard (not the easement). And left ruts. We thought they were done and now they are back yet again this morning with more digging. Highly disappointed in this company's lack of respect for one's property. I am not sure what is the real internet speed for 5GB. I used EZEE Speedtest show 4000 Mbps download and 960 Mbps; however, I used other speed test apps and none of them near that speed. It seems to be inconsistency performance. The unit box would shutdown it self several times and it is serious interference with my work and my son's gaming (wired). We had unit box replaced. If it doesn't improve by next month, I may have to cancel it. read more

Service was acceptable initially, but not what I expected for 1 Gig. A couple of weeks ago I notified Ezee fiber that we were moving and the Ezee fiber service was not available there, that I'd likely get Xfinity since it would be available and worked for us previously. since then the service is no better than half what it had been, to the point I decided they move us down in rank since we were leaving their fold. funny they couldn't couldn't continue decent service while we're still paying for their 1 Gig service. I didn't even request their service, their contractors destroyed our neighbors' front yard, though not part of our property but they don't even utilize the easement for utilities but got to be in front of our yard! Dug up holes, destroyed my sprinkler system and not even cleaned up. My family used our own pocket money to regrow the grass cause if not HOA gonna go after us. Our neighbors called fort bend county, the Richmond city, and none cannot take them out. They used the permit that allowed them to work in our area to talk to us, and it turned out it was just a review paper! The PM and construction manager onsite always gave us a blank answer when we said we would not want Ezee Fiber to get in our yard, lied about giving the neighborhood notice before the construction, none of our neighbors got the notice, they came when we are away and said that it's their business hour just like us working during our business hour. She called the cops on us saying that we made threats to them and had some kind of violence going on! They called the police on my two neighbors, twice! Ezee even had some big dude come out and threaten them. I'm sure they are homeowners and they would not want this to happen to their yard, or even have some of these kinds of rude people ganging up on them to get things done and get their money. read more

Complete joke of a company, if my experience wasn't true it would be a SNL skit. 1st dug 2 huge holes in my yard without my permission. Yes within the easement. Dropped their lines and didn't fill the holes back in. Sales guy knocks on my door and I tell him to fill the holes and I'll talk with him. He ran like I had an Ak47 pointed at him, yelling over his shoulder "not my problem ". Fast forward a few months and I decided to hire the lawn killers for my internet. Now it gets fun, they dig up my yard again and attach a box to the outside of my garage. Next comes the inside installer who spends 45 minutes in my attic before telling me I have a choice of the router in the garage or on the kitchen counter next to the sink. My wife picks up her phone and speed calls her divorce lawyer. I immediately but politely asked him to leave. I few days pass as I medicate from the experience before I call and explain my experience. Ezee fiber assures me it's all a misunderstanding and they sent someone else out to move the outside box to the other side of the house. Again my yard is dug up like a pack of armadillo's came through. While my estranged family slept. For the 4th time I fix the holes and trenches they dug. Next up, again is the inside installer, he shows up, spends 30 minutes in the attic and says the router has to go on my night stand. I explain that I just had a AC unit installed above my bedroom yet he insists it's inaccessible. He then drills a hole through brick behind my nightstand and installs the router. A ton of headaches, my back is sore from the shoveling, yet I'm oddly excited, expecting lighting fast internet. I go to bed that night dreaming of lightning fast streaming, but can fall asleep because of the BLONDING light from the router. So three sleepless months in, I've lost my mind started taking Valium and have been exhausted watching the buffering of every f*#~ing show I've tried to watch. Average of 1.5 hours to watch a 55 minute show. My wife has threatened divorce, my son hasn't spoken to me since June. Finally sobered up enough to switch back to Xfinity, it will take some time to heal the family wounds, hopeful but not confident. I've been with them for 3 months; Pros: very good support. They answer the phone quickly and do send a technician to fix the problem in a timely manner Cons: in 3 months my internet went down more than 10 times, requiring a technician to come fix it. Not sure why I'm having so many issues, perhaps their fiber is not good, or their equipment, or something else. Unfortunately, I'm going to switch back to another provider. I work from home and this is the WORST internet provider. Nothing will load, especially if you are 2 feet away from the router.
