Did the Santa Experience with my family and it was a great experience. With a teen, toddler, and baby, we have all ages covered. The team and Santa made everyone feel at ease. The area was super fun and engaging, and Santa was really awesome. We took a lot of pictures, but it really just felt like a fun hangout with Santa. Got the pictures back and they are all amazing. So many different ones, and just made us all look good (which isn't always easy). We weren't having a good few days as a family and this experience actually helped turn that around. I tried to book the studio through Peerspace for a shoot. Found out that my rental time would not be private as people would be walking through the space to gain access to other parts of the building. "There are other tenants in our building who work on Wednesdays and would have clients coming in and out where the photo studio portion of our building is." This was not acceptable to me so I withdrew my rental request. Rather than just saying that they understood I received a snarky reply that I truly found unprofessional. Additional response messages included name calling and harassment for advising them of their lack of professionalism. I will not expose my model who would be dressed in revealing clothing for a boudoir shoot to random parties walking in and out as they please. This isn't show and tell. Next time be professional in your response and understand that each photographer who looks to book your studio may have different requirements and a specific date/time that is not flexible. If your studio is only private on Saturday/Sunday then state that in your listing. read more

The Santa Experience is such a magical experience! I was tearing up the entire time. It truly was the most memorable for my family. This was our first time doing this and will definitely becoming a family tradition. If you have not booked your session, GO BOOK IT NOW! Every year we try to take our boys to get pictures with Santa, and every year my oldest always says, "mom, I don't think he was the real one." Or the infamous "he was DEFINITELY not the real one!" After leaving our photo session my son was quiet. When asking him how he liked it, he simply said "mom! That was the REAL Santa!!!" Haha Upon entering you are greeted by the sweetest Mrs. Clause and a snow fall when you enter. So magical! Santa is by far the BEST Santa you will ever take photos with. He is very charismatic, engaging, funny, and so fun! This 34 year old woman almost believed he was the real Santa lol it definitely took me back to my childhood and had tears falling watching my boys take it in. The pictures they took were BEAUTIFUL! I booked a photo session here as a birthday treat to myself. The studio is very nice, clean, and spacious. My photographer was Michael and he was just amazing. Right from the get-go he made me feel comfortable with myself and being in front of the camera. He is very warm and friendly and really helps you loosen up to get the best energy, smiles, and poses out of you. As someone else already commented, he has a great eye for detail- he took notice of some jewelry I had on and instructed me with poses that would best show them off. He is super professional and you can just tell he's been doing this for a long time. I just wanted to write a review and rave about how wonderful my experience was here at f/8 studios. First of all when I walked in with my family the photographer and staff were very welcoming. It's a beautiful studio with lots of flowers, props and plants, when they arrived the props and beautiful background was already set up. I was taking photos for my one year old baby and the photographer michael was very attentive and patient. The baby loved him and had a lot of fun! Michael was very sweet and professional. He coordinated the shoot very well and was really nice to us and the baby! He took wonderful photos for her birthday and was very sweet and open to suggestions! The prices for amazing photos are also very reasonable and affordable and won't break your bank! I had a great experience here and would recommend to all my friends family and strangers! read more

Michael hyped me up like a superstar during our headshot session and that confidence definitely showed in the photos! I booked a headshot session on f/8 to get some new professional shots taken as a birthday gift to myself. *HIGHLY* recommend f/8 if you want new shots taken for your LinkedIn or resume. Not gonna lie, I was pretty nervous before the shoot. I get social anxiety easily (especially with new people), and I'm no model so I was nervous about my pictures turning out all stiff and awkward-looking. Michael turned out to be this super low-key, down-to-earth and personable dude who literally looks like Santa (he's part of an actual Santa organization too lol) so it was hard not to relax during the shoot. Michael 100% knows what he's doing -- he's got 20+ years of experience in all arenas of photography -- and it makes a huge difference between going with f/8 vs. an amateur photographer. Between cheerful banter, Michael deftly positioned me in different ways to best showcase my features. Despite my terrible posture (I got bad computer shoulders), he was able to capture so many good shots that I wasn't quite sure which ones to select! Everything moved so fast -- we must've taken 400+ shots or something. I received 100+ selects way earlier than Michael said I would, and I'd give this place 6 stars if I could because of how amazing the whole experience was. We had our Christmas photoshoot with f/8 and it was a great experience. My little one loved it. Santa was amazing. He came out from the chimney which scared my little one but then he stole her heart with little Blitzen from his bag. I went twice to take photos since my husband couldn't not attend the first session. The first session was amazing and the photographer (he was a male i don't remember his name) did really well with guiding us and telling us what to do. I loved the photos from our first session. Only reason I am giving it four stars is because I was not happy with the outcome of my second session photos. The second session felt different as it was a different photographer (a female). I felt the pictures didn't come out that well maybe because she was shorter or maybe because she didn't guide us. But in all of our photos we aren't looking at the camera and it looks like we are looking up. Again it could be because she was a shorter photographer but I feel she would have at least caught that in the photo shoot since she was able to look at the photos to see if it was a good shot and at least guide us to look slightly down or elevate the camera more to get a good picture of at least all of us looking straight on at the camera. I was disappointed because we don't have a good family shot where we are all looking straight on at the camera. This is just some feedback for that photographer but other than that everyone is very sweet and accommodating. Service is wonderful there and Ms. Claus was amazing with my daughter and making her smile. read more

Such a wonderful photo session with Mike! As a real estate professional, I have done a few professional photo sessions in my career, but this was my favorite. Mike was very personable, fun to speak to, and did a great job taking pictures of me! Michael is a skilled photographer and has a great personality that suits all ages, genders, and ethic groups from any background. He truly is the definition of a professional.
