Absolutely the best! Their honesty also saved me so much for the repair of my 33 yr old living room vertical blinds that suddenly separated from the upper support bar. Initially I was advised on the phone by another highly rated company that my blinds were too old to repair and would have require a new set of blinds. This, of course, meant megabucks: e.g. $300 just for their service call(!), new blinds, and installation. I might be an octogenarian, but this sticker shock estimate definitely was a sign to keep Googling & phoning other companies. The Shade and Drape Depot responded immediately and advised me on the phone, based on their experience, that my blinds were absolutely repairable. Thanks to the repairman, Andrew, the repair simply required drilling my vertical blinds support beam back into the ceiling. I would give them 10 stars if I could! From start to finish, The Shade and Drape Depot has been the utmost professional. I first reached out to them right before COVID hit, and we decided to put it on hold due to all the uncertainties. Fast forward 1 year later, we were able to pick up right where we left off with them. Olga, the owner and sales person, was always very honest with me and made the best recommendations on product, look, fit, features, etc. She actually advised us on solutions that saved us a lot of money. She took very careful measurements and even came back once to confirm one of the measurements. The installation was very quick, clean, and easy, and they were very responsive in returning a couple days later to make some minor adjustments. Karen was always very responsive in providing quotes and scheduling our visits. My husband and I are very particular and prefer a modern, clean aesthetic, and are VERY happy with our end result. For reference, we got Alta Shades, Claudio Mist fabric, and manual, reverse roll installation. We had 15 windows covered, 5 of which were dual roll. Do NOT use this company. I scheduled an appointment for someone to come out and do measurements to get an estimate. The day of -- I had to call a few times to ask where the person was. They switched the original designer on me without notifying me ahead of time. The best part is that I received NO estimate. No follow-up, nada. During the measurement appointment, I reviewed the material options -- they all look cheap. Go with another reputable company that is actually professional and ready to work with you. Can't say enough good things about Olga and Shade and Drape Depot. Very responsive to my inquiry. Can to my house to measure for both drapes and blinds. I used my own fabric and they crafted beautiful lined drapes for my main bedroom at a fraction of the cost of drapery stores that only had polyester products. Mine are a cotton/linen/poly blend that look great, drape beautifully and look totally custom. They also replaced some wood blinds in another bedroom which was great as they get kind of dirty over time. The installers were also wonderful. Olga and team are amazing. Prices are reasonable and they did a great job installing custom blinds for patio, kitchen, and 2 bedrooms. With Olga, we chose colors, size, opacity, texture of fabric, mounting, etc of all the blinds. She had samples of fabrics before you order. She made great recommendations, we wanted our bedrooms to be pitch black at night (black out, no light seeping in) and airy/light in the living rooms. Her husband & son did a great job with the installations. The guys came in and was done with everything quickly and professionally. They were also very friendly and honest people. I interviewed 3 companies prior to going with this company. This company returned my calls promptly, always on time for appt & had the best price. Great family run business. They have been prompt for all appointments and returned my phone calls in a timely manner. We ordered blackout shades for the master bedroom and shades for our sliding backdoor. Eddie (owner's son) can by for the assessment, measurement. I already had existing shades in my kitchen that I wanted to match for the sliding back foot & Eddie helped me find one. For the install day, Eddie noticed that the factory sent a cracked sliding door shade & didn't want to install it. They reordered it and was installed two weeks later. I really appreciated the high quality work they provide. A month later the pull chain on my blackout curtain broke. I called the company & Eddie came by the same day to fix the chain. Olga provided excellent service, advising me on blind quality and color. She was very patient, as I took my time making decisions, over the course of a few weeks. I've been very pleased with the results, both performance and beauty. Recently (3 years after installation), a couple of my blinds were damaged by careless guests. This required removing the lower portion. Fortunately, they plan for this kind of issue, and there is extra length, beyond the window size, so no problem. I highly recommend this company. I had 9 solar blinds made for my home. 3 of the rooms have windows that meet in a corner. They weren't easy to adapt blinds for. Olga came to the rescue and reordered the blinds, reinstalled and added beautiful cornices to solve the issue. The blinds are gorgeous. I have ocean views from every room and was able to get blinds you can see through but still provide sun and heat blocking I needed. These guys are great! I had a nice girl named Olga helping me. She was knowledgable and helpful with a few creative ideas for my family room, fabric, length and style etc. Couldn't be happier with the results! Her experience and expertise in the field were above and beyond the last company I used. And in my NURSERY I have black out curtains on the windows but there is still a stream of sunlight that shines between the window cill and the curtain. But Olga created and installed a piece that blocks the light out!! And you would never notice its there. No more ugly tape and no more baby waking when the sun comes up!!! And most important...
